Always love coming here to get a light breakfast from either a smoothie bowl or a oatmeal, my favorite smoothie bowl is the island pitaya bowl because it's light but if I want a creamy option I get the chocolate smoothie bowl when I'm feeling a little naughty lol as far as the oatmeal I love getting it with a touch of brown crumble, apples and bananas and I must say this combo taste like an apple pie but a little more healthy. Even if I want a drink in the middle of the day I love the mango a go go or I love getting the orange dream machine. Soon I'll be cutting sugar out of my diet so I would love the explore the juices or lighter sugar free options, the employees here are super friendly give this location a try! read more

I placed an order in advance through Yelp/GrubHub. I checked in when I arrived 10 minutes later, and 30 minutes later after all other customer's orders had clearly been filled in the meantime, I asked again, only to discover my order had been ready and sitting in the back, but they had not called out my name. Apparently they don't call out names for Grubhub orders like they do with every other type of order, which they call out by name. That was a very frustrating discovery. read more

The fam had a party across the street at Kennedy Park and I was craving something sweet and "refreshing", with the potential to give me a little pick me up. I opted for the "chocolate protein smoothie" because I have had similar drinks before and seriously you can't go wrong with chocolate, right? My cousin kept it safe and chose their classic "Banana Berry". The drinks came up to about $10 and some change, I gave the cashier $11. She ended up giving me wayyyy too much change back and when I brought it to her attention, she told me I was wrong. Granted, my cousin saw that I only gave her $11 as well, but the cashier would not take the change back. Instead, she joked that I was "too honest" and that her manager would find out if she was short or not at the end of her shift. Working in customer service for like a zillion years, I thought this was pretty funny, mainly because I could only imagine the conversation this girl's manager had with her after counting her drawer and who knows how many transactions she has actually messed up on. Anywho, my drink was disgusting. It only tasted like whey protein, no hint of chocolate what so ever. Nothing against the protein, but I just expected a rich chocolate taste with a hint of banana. It's quite possible the girl added too much whey, but we will forever wonder. I ended up throwing my $5 drink away because I couldn't stomach the taste, kind of made me feel like I was drinking hay. My cousin thoroughly enjoyed hers though, so I guess that kind of made up for it? The establishment was pretty clean and well organized though, so that was a bit of a plus as well. read more

Warning - they have hired a new crew here and within the past two months the smoothies have been shit as they cannot make a smoothie for shit without ice cream or yogurt. They do not know how to blend veggies or fruit smoothies and the consistency of the flavor and texture is off. Most of the juices or smoothies come out runny like straight juice and gone with in two minutes -no consistency. I already quit going to Bay fair location and now I am completely done with this location as well. Don't believe me? Go between 12 and 2PM. If they paid enough, I would apply so I can teach them how to blend a smoothie lol. I worked at Jamba back in early 2000's and the quality has gone down, the more the company grows. I called to speak with supervisor in charge of the shift and she asked if I ever ask for them to re-blend my order on the spot. I told her I didn'thave time this last time but I have prior to my latest visit. I should not have to request a re-blend every other time I visit the store. I heard about Jamba having their FREE! Breakfast Morning event and called this location yesterday to make sure that they'd be participating. I haven't been to this newer location although I do shop at the Target in the same vicinity. I figured I can try out this newer Jamba Juice since it was easier to travel to on my way into work without going out of my way to go to the location on A Street. Anyhoot, as I walked into Jamba this morning, I noticed the different layout. There was the store mgr (I'm assuming) standing by the entrance and I asked her if there was a certain selection for the FREE! Breakfast Morning and she said nope. Just pick anything off their new breakfast menu. Yeahhh!!! I'm all for free. So instead of choosing a yogurt and fruit blend (smoothie like), I chose something new and decided on the Berry Topper (for FREE!) and also the Reduced fat Lemon & Blueberry loaf. The Berry Topper had strawberries, blueberries, bananas, yogurt, soymilk, and organic pumpkin flax granola. Man! That thing was great. And I don't know what exactly was up with the granola. But that was the best damn granola I've ever had! It was just so darn scrumptious. Top notch customer service today! Upon walking in the door every customer was greeted with a "Welcome to Jamba Juice!". Our order was taken quickly by a friendly girl with a smile on her face (and it wasn't one of those annoying artificial smiles). Drinks were great.. enjoyed by all. Did you know there is a 'secret menu' there? My daughter always gets a "white gummy bear" and my son tried a "fruity pebbles" this time. My only complaint was that this location smelled like glue or adhesive BIG TIME.. maybe they just repaired a floor or something??...and although we were only there for about 10 minutes, my nose clogged up and I was feeling wheezy and coughing. Not sure what that was all about.. it all happened before I had my drink so it wasn't the drink. Something in that store triggered my asthma which hasn't been a problem for years. The girls that work at this place don't seem to care much about the quality of the service or drinks. Been to this location 3 times, and have had bad drinks EVERY TIME. Always either over mixed and too frothy and watery, drinks taste like soap, some drinks are not even cold by the time you get them, and that is IF they even give you the right drink! I feel like Jamba Juice is hiring highschool idiots because they work for nothing and some perverts like to look at airhead girls. I just want a good drink like I get at other locations. They wrote "4 sixteen ounce Family Pack for $12" When I proceeded to order, they informed me that was a weekend only special (It was a Monday afternoon). If it was indeed a weekend special, it should be noted there instead of misleading customers. The 3 stars is for the guy in charge, as he was friendly. The rest needs work. Another customer & I walked in at the same time. No one was at the register, but a couple workers were at the blenders. No biggie, but the problem was they didn't acknowledge us for a few minutes. A simple "Hi, we'll be right with you" would have sufficed. If they couldn't hear us walk in, then maybe put a sensor bell over the doorway. My order wasn't quite ready, but no big deal. The next issue came when part of my order was made incorrectly. I brought it to their attention, and then had to wait while they fixed it. Then no acknowledgement from the person who finally handed me my correct order. No smile, no "here you go", no "sorry about that". They just put it on the counter and walked away. Other than the guy in charge, none of the rest of the workers were friendly at all. Not too shabby at all. I usually avoid any type of establishment right off of A street because the traffic and let's just say it weirdos that I usually encounter. I did however hear about their $1- 16 size special and I thought on a warm afternoon it sounded like the perfect treat. The line was long everyone is looking for a deal these days. I was cheerfully greeted. I actually thought the greeting was TOO chipper and cheerful for a line as long as it was but I shrugged it off and looked on the sunny side of things. Location: In the plaza where target is located you can't miss it when you're driving on Hesperian you'll see the sign. Customer Service: Not bad, quick efficient service Decor: I like the two green lawn chairs in front of the door and when you walk in you immediately see the decor on the walls, nice it stands out. I usually get my jamba from the one in Union City on Dyer but since I was kind of in the neighborhood of this one and saw the good reviews on yelp I decided to give it a try. What a mistake! I ordered the Orange Dream Machine and it was full of ice chunks!! I hate hate hate ice chunks in my smoothie. A smoothie is supposed to be smooth, who the hell wants to bite on chunks of ice the whole time? If I didn't drive away already by the time I tasted my drink I would have asked them to remake it. Was hungry for a light snack and didn't care for anything too heavy. Jamba Juice fit the bill. During the time we went, there was no line. This was good, because there were only two workers there (or at least visible). lol Drinks were made okay, with the exception of the fact that our drinks were served in a bigger cup due to the fact that they ran out of the smaller cups. It made it look like we were getting less than what we paid for.
