came here with a friend recently, the service is good. it was my first time trying the Cookie Monster ice cream and it was pretty good, tastes exactly like what you'd think which is blue vanilla ice cream with cookie and oreo bits. we got our ice cream in waffle bowls and the only thing i will say is that those bowls were stale. the worker got them out the display and so they were premade, which is fine if they were fresh or made relatively recently but no they were stale, and we came pretty early in the day like 12 pm, so i wonder how long ago they made it. other than that, the ice cream itself was good the service by the worker who took out order was as well. read more

I'm giving this location 5 Stars not only for the product but the staff were as sweet as the ice cream! They greeted us with smiles and offered up the free tasting samples generously. They also discussed their favorites and you could tell they love their job, who wouldn't if you serve only ice cream?! The dark chocolate cherry is DECADENT & delicious!!! Came here the other day on a whim. It was close to 9PM after a long work day and this place was on our way home... so why not?! Located along Mission Boulevard, and across the street from the cemetery (ooOOo spoopy), this Baskin Robbins quietly sits in the corner. What do I mean by quietly? Apparently, they don't like to advertise their specials here... will talk more about that later. When we arrived, there were three people behind the counter - all their backs turned towards us. We look over the flavors we wanted, and at this point it's been several minutes with no greeting whatsoever. I swore I thought I saw one of them turn around and look at us, only to turn back around to help her associate. ANYWAY, we were finally welcomed once the guy of the group turned around and was surprised to see us. We joked that we'd been there for like 30 minutes already, his face turned red. We ordered: Double scoop pralines and cream on waffle cone Double scoop pb chocolate and cookies and cream in a cup Dude was extra helpful and apologetic for ignoring us. When about to pay, he discounted several things that were actually specials at the store, like a waffle cone discount, and another one that I forgot. Talk about quiet... Also, before we left, he handed us a bunch of coupons - one attached to the receipt, plus two more that were for an ice cream pizza (?!), and other things. The next day was $1.31 scoop day (every 31st of the month!), and we came again LOL. Served by the same guy who recognized us hahaha. The SO got the same thing, and I got pb cup to go with my pb chocolate. Still super delicious and a decent proportion too. Thanks for helping us out guy. We will definitely be back! read more

After leaving USA in February 2009, I began living in Sokcho/Seoul South Korea, Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, etc. for well over three and a half years visiting a local Baskin Robbins store. I discovered I liked visiting the above Baskin Robbins locations while away from USA because all the Baskin Robbins store locations regardless of where the stores are serves REAL American ice cream and real ice cream cakes consistently! So many Asian ice cream stores in Far East Asia served real weird flavors such as red bean, black bean, ginger, sea weed ice cream flavors~YUK! What I discovered finding so cool about Baskin Robbins is taking your favorite flavors & toppings you selected, mixing your ice cream flavors creating your personal confectionery delight. The most impressive point about Baskin Robbins are the employees who are surprisingly knowledgeable which ice cream complements another ice cream flavor and also, knowing which ice cream will compliment a certain cake flavor. I never ate Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes not until I was living in Sokcho South Korea: I attended a lot of birthdays! Upon returning to California, I began visiting Baskin Robbins San Francisco Bay Area locations due to my memorable, influential, frequent visits visiting the Baskin Robbins overseas. Yes, I admit I am now a Baskin Robbins fan! I got a question.. When did Baskin Robbins get so expensive. If you have not stepped foot inside these chains like myself in a long time. You are going to be in for a shock they have really raised there prices on everything. But besides the really high Ice cream prices if you go in here knowing that your wallet is going to take a bit of a beating over melted and re frozen milk they make a pretty good Sunday, there ice cream is always fresh and the customer service is a bit slow so just understand you are going to be waiting for a bit. Most people love to start there order and then look around just really unsure what they want. I have noticed this in family and younger children. I don't mind to be honest but I'm just trying to get in and out and this isn't the place to do it. The workers move at there own pace and the line moves at a slow one as well. I love ice cream I'm a huge fan; but with all the other better locations and even better mom and pop shops. This is a chain that I tend to avoid. I would rather spend less money and get faster service and better quality good for my bucks. read more

Had a good experience here recently... The person that was working (a younger male... I didn't catch his name) was really frisnly and generous with our order. I think my husband was being super picky about something from what I remember because I turned to the guy that worked there and said, "I'm sorry he's so.high maintenance," and we all laughed, it was funny. Anyway, he was generous with his scoops and was helpful asking if we wanted lids or spoons. The other reason I like this BR is it usually has my favorite flavor, chocolate fudge. For some reason the other BR near me usually doesn't which is a huge bummer. It's almost worth it to me to come to this one for my favor! This is located right off Mission Blvd so it's easy to see. The employees I ever see are high school students. Doesn't bother me that much, I just get my ice cream and go. I do think they give smaller portions than other Baskin Robbins. I know this because of what people have told me who have worked there. Also, I kinda compared it to the one in Union City. I remember one time they were advertising a seasonal flavor and didn't see it in the front and asked them about it. This review is for our cake ordering experience. My friend and I ordered a gold medal ribbon ice cream cake for my friend's birthday because that's her favorite ice cream flavor from Baskin Robbins, but we were not aware that this cake was very difficult to make due to the fact that it contains caramel. When we arrived in the store to pick up the cake, the cake wasn't ready, then the baker came out and yelled at us telling us that she had to throw out the cake because it was melting and she CANNOT make it and she's already staying over time to do this. I sincerely appreciate her trying to make the cake but she did not need to yell at us! She was blaming us for ordering the cake. I completely understand that it is difficult to make and would appreciate it if they just called us and told us that it cannot be made so we can make other arrangements, instead of walking in and getting yelled at and having to find replacements last minute. read more

You may be asking why I chose Dunkin Donuts & Baskin Robbins for my 400th review when people typically do reviews of places like Yelp, or getting their Elite Badge, or about a DYL, or their high school, or something else that bares some significance when you write this many reviews, well in a round about way I am and here's why: The reason why I chose Dunkin Donuts & Baskin Robbins to do my 400th review is to show an example of why Yelp is great and why there are major problems with it. I think the concept of Yelp is great. You can write and rate various different establishments regardless of it being restaurant, a party/event, department store, park, local transportation, and even people to name a few. You can do everything from your mega chains like McDonald's and Walmart to the Mom and Pop operations and write about your local Taco Trucks and Street Vendors. The fact that you can even rate a Dunkin Donuts & Baskin Robbins is one of the very reasons that makes Yelp so enjoyable. But the major negative about Yelp is there is a problem with too much user control and often it comes down to just general commentary instead of a review of a business and this Dunkin Donuts & Baskin Robbins is a prime example. Here's the thing while this is a legitimate address for a Baskin Robbins there are NO DUNKIN DONUTS here or even a Donut Shop in this strip mall. The two comments on here has NOTHING TO DO with reviewing the business that is at the address (and I have been here and will review in just a minute so that I'm not that big of a hypocrite) and are nothing more than just random social comments. Yeah I could flag the reviews and have them removed, but I think it's just better to leave them up as an example of the flaw in their Yelp system. I've passed by here many times and have stopped in on more than one occasion for an Ice Cream, sorry there are NO DONUTS here. There's not even a donut flavored ice cream. But other than the misinformation published here, it's your typical Baskin Robbins. It's hard to miss off of Mission Blvd. It's about an average size store with about 3 - 4 tables inside. Do they really have 31 Flavors?.. Honestly I don't know, but they do have a good amount to choose from. Now that they offer a couple choices with either Reeses or Snickers in them, just seems like I keep getting the same flavors. Prices here are reasonable, you're looking around $2 for a single scoop of ice cream. They also offer Sundaes and Ice Cream Cake too. Place is always clean and service has always been friendly. Nice enough service and friendly enough service gets this BASKIN ROBBINS (again there are NO DONUTS here) a solid 3 star rating and ironically enough my rant Yelp also gets 3 stars. We walked in this store to shake off the heat outside. Naturally, I expected the ice cream place to be a cold place inside. However, I was very disappointed when I went here. The whole store was hot. I was hesitating whether I'd buy their ice cream or not because I assumed that if the place was hot, the ice cream would be served melting. Well, I was a bit wrong. It was not melting when served, but melted quickly after paying and on the way out. Ugh. I'm not a fan of melted ice cream, especially when my feet were still inside their establishment. On June 11, 2019 at approximately 4pm I went into the Baskin robin shop and bought a scoop. The weather that day was over 100 degrees. I sat down to enjoy my ice cream while charging my phone in the wall socket. The female employee came over and told me I can't charge my "machinery" in the store. I was not sure what she meant me by that so I asked her to clarify. She then proceeded to tell me I can't charge my machinery. At this point I figured she was referring to my phone. Came here half an hour before closing on a Thursday night & the staff was still very polite. Ordered the double scoop of Almond pistachio icecream which allowed me to get a waffle cone free. To be honest, it was cold outside & we had just finished eating dinner so the double scoop was definitely not a good choice on my part. On another occasion, it would have been perfect. And that's how we ended up here. She right away picked the princess Aurora cake from the freezer. We had her name written on it, since it was too small to write happy birthday on it.
