Ordered the one dozen mini cakes, basically like cupcakes, but Bundt style. Ordered it via delivery and the hats that came with. It was so cute. I believe I got the birthday theme series, and the hats came separately packed so you will have to put those on individually, but they came out so cute and delicious & perfectly packaged. There was a chocolate flavor, a lemon flavor, a raspberry lemon flavor, and red velvet. The frosting is so decadent so rich so delicious and the cake bread was perfectly moist. Upon arrival, there were about 2 people ahead of me, and only one gentleman at the counter, but it didn't take too long to be helped. It's a rather small location, but has a nice feel. Picked up a pumpkin spice (featured flavor) individual bundlet over the weekend. I usually go for snickerdoodle or carrot but wanted to try something seasonal. You get hit with the smell of pumpkin right after opening the container. And you can definitely taste the pumpkin as well, which is great since sometimes that flavor can get lost. I don't really taste the 'spice' as much as I would like but it still tastes good enough for me. The frosting pairs nicely with the cake but it is reaaaally sweet (I still finish it off though!). Manager here is very sweet! She gave my daughter a birthday bundtlet. Store can get busy on Fridays and the weekends! But the line goes by fast when two cashiers are working. Hello, Today went to the San Leandro store. Was going to buy 5 Bundt cakes. Plus use coupon received from email. Store didn't honor it. Sales person told me need to go Fremont store ONLY. Was really disappointed since coupon didn't not mention FREMONT store at all. One very disappointed nothing Bundt cakes customer! I couldn't find any statement which says FREMONT LOCATION ONLY! Sales person couldn't find it either. She was adamant I have to drive 30 minutes to the Fremont store. I tried going here today but was stuck in a bit of rush hour traffic so I tried to call ahead of time to have a box of bundtinis ready so it wouldn't take much of their time once I get there since eta was 6:58pm and they close at 7pm but the girl on the phone was adamant about first come first serve and whatever is available which I understand but I didn't want to hold them up for closing. Fast forward, as I get to the front door to open it at 6:69pm, the worker quickly blocked me from coming in and told me they're closed and the register is closed. Like for real? I'm like right here..... and a customer had just left before I got to open the door so how quickly did you even count and close the register? Especially seeing how much leftover is still in the pastry case. At the very least tell me about the register closing with a happier look or smile and not looking so rude and eyeing your other coworkers as you deny my service. I called on Friday to place an order for Sunday (Mother's Day) The lady on the phone was very nice and professional. I ordered a custom variety pack of bundtinis, the flavors I chose were strawberries and cream, red velvet, lemon and confetti. I was advised the shop opened at 11 and so I requested my order to be ready by 11. On Sunday I arrived a few minutes early only to find a line of people already waiting for the shop to open. I was stressed out thinking I was going to have to wait in that line. Thankfully the business owners/managers had a separate line for customers who called ahead and pre paid for their orders!! YAY I basically avoided that long line, walked straight up to the sign for pre-paid orders got my bundtinis and went on with the rest of my life!!! This review largely has to do with Melissa M. Her lack of service was appalling yesterday. I was even very detailed when completing a survey. My wife and son entered at about 2:50 (I stayed in the car, and was burning up at around 3- I knew that my wife and son should have been in and out in just a few minutes). A man was standing in the corner (he was waiting for an order to be ready). There were no other customers. My wife was greeted, but she didn't know where to stand (it would be helpful if there was a sign regarding this). After a minute, she addressed Melissa (she told her in a polite way that she was ready to order), but she was just given a blank look. My wife told me a few times that Melissa hardly said anything in general. It was like she was "mute." Melissa was sort of busy doing nothing (what she was doing didn't seem to have to do with the man who was waiting in the corner). After a few minutes, my wife wanted to walk out. My wife was finally helped after about 10 minutes. A woman who came in cut in front of her, but the woman was not aware of that. In fact, partly because Melissa did not direct anyone, the people who came in after my wife and son did were just standing around at random spots. Maybe Melissa was out of it (after helping the woman who cut in front of my wife, she looked around as if she wasn't sure who to help next). Still, there was a lack of awareness and basic customer service. Even a little bit of communication would have gone a long way. "I'm picking my ass. I'll be with you in a minute." Something. Bundtlets are $5.25 each. They're overpriced, but we like the Carrot and Confetti and Red Velvet ones. My wife recently ordered 12 Confetti Bundtlets for our son's birthday party. She received pretty good service at that time (maybe from Melissa), and I am taking that into account in terms of this review. The hours haven't changed (my first review was posted shortly after this location opened). They are kind of weak (Mon-Fri 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.; Sat 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.; Sun 11 a.m.-4 p.m.). The shopping center parking lot can be stressful to deal with (the layout basically means that you have to be super alert at times). Service is most excellent - I called in my order for two boxes of bundtinis the day before and they were te day when I got there the next morning. These are always a hit - the teachers loved them and ate them quickly. It's a little pricey at $25 for 12 in a box but worth it. You can make your own little flags with toothpicks and message stickers from Daiso or printing out photos on regular paper, cutting them out into pieces around a quarter to half dollar size and taping them to toothpicks. They also have cute little decorations like llamas, color fuzzy balls and apples for teachers. read more
