I work down the street and it's my go to when I need something cold and refreshing; it just hits the spot sometimes. I think there's a flavor for everyone....I know its not the healthiest drink but it's not the worst either....Sour Patch Kid, Pink Star and Green Apple are my favorites and I totally recommend them. Customer service was great this morning, very friendly and cheery for 730am; surprisingly they are open at 6....place is clean...it does get busy at times, but what do you expect when you come at lunch time. Your standard Jamba Juice: 3 stars. I tried the chunky strawberry energy bowl with peanut butter, bananas and granola. Very good, imo, especially for someone who likes peanut butter as much as I do. However, I'm pretty sure you can make the same thing for less than half the price they charge you now. My first time ever at this location and I will not be returning back. 20 minute wait for our drinks, and the cashier who was working had quite a bit of an attitude while placing everyone's orders. Not sure if she's was just having a bad day, but she should not be working in customer service with that attitude! It was very uncomfortable just telling her my order and from the looks of it you could tell she didn't want to be there. We go here at least twice a month. Always friendly. Always fast. Always accommodating (we like to split the 16 oz. into two cups for my kids). I usually get the Orange Julius (oops! I mean Dream Machine) or the Matcha Green Tea Blast. I love them both, but one time the employee recommended that I get a banana blended with the Green Tea. BEST IDEA EVER. Not sure if you'll be able to do this with other Jamba Juice sites, but definitely try it out. Be careful going at night though. I know of at least two robberies that happened there. For once, I go to this location, rather than my Calvine one, and am definitely not going back. I had a free small drink, and this lady (looked like the manager) would not scan the coupon and said I had to delete it from my iwallet, but it was a screenshot so I was unable to. First, she did not seem happy and accused that I could have used the coupon several times for all she knows. I then told her that these coupons only worked once. She then finally listened to me and scanned, and it had went through. My mother with me also had a coupon like this and it was from her wallet. She had scanned it, proceeded to tell my mother it had expired. It clearly said that it expired on day I had went. I would get if she said the coupon was used already since my mom sometimes forgets easily, but quote on quote, "it has expired already." Later when they called my drink, I found that even though she had told my mom that the coupon had expired, the order had gone through. So when I asked why, she proceeded to them tell me "It's just one" and turned away. I walked out, but am questioning: if the coupon hadn't worked, why did the order go through? Did she lie to me? Overall, the rating has nothing to do the coupon itself but the treatment of the workers. If you are willing to give out coupons to customers for going to Kings games, I would appreciate not being looked down upon when redeeming it. read more

I am not a big fan of Jamba Juice, but got a crave once a while, so I went in on Sat afternoon. I was the only customer there with my niece, a white girl in red hair was there at the cashier, she wasn't even greet us or anything which I have no problem with that. I ordered Caribbean Passion, can't remember what size they have to choose, and every Jamba I go, usually they will ask and tell the size but this girl was just look at me silent, follow by "I don't know what size" giving a look like I'm a stupid for not knowing the size, I asked her about the boost which I only can remember by it's old name (Femme Boost) since I don't go to Jamba that often. Everywhere I go, the cashier would know what I mean, and recommend me the new one that close to that, instead, she replied with an attitude "I don't know" (it's more like I know but I don't care to answer) After the drink was done, I pointed to the yogurt picture by the window and ask her if she can show me where is it on the menu so I could order next time, she topped off her bad attitude by acting like she doesn't understand my English, and talked to my niece "I don't know what she's saying". There is nothing wrong with my English, but it's like this stupid woman think everybody should come in knowing the perfect way to order the juice without her having to open her mouth and ask. We're the only customers there but she act like it's so busy that she has no time to explain anything. I think it's too bad to have an ignorant staff like this who make customers feel stupid for not knowing everything in the menu, I would recommend a manager to replace someone else with better attitude than this, after all Elk Grove is full of Asian people, if she want to be race against Asian, she should go find a job somewhere else. read more

Very upset with my experience here. They were busy when I was here around 1:30 on 5/29/15. I places my order and there was no line, I was able to walk straight to the register and be helped. I wish someone would have told me there would be a such a long wait. I wouldn't have ordered. After waiting almost 20 MINUTES for my drink, I inquired with a girl behind the counter because I was going to be late getting back to work (was on lunch.) 30 MINUTES LATER I finally got my drink (i was watching the clock) and there was NO ICE IN MY RAZZMATAZZ SMOOTHIE. only sugary, runny juice. I was very upset because I had a long day at work, it was a long day, and, I didn't get my smoothie I paid $5.75 for. I even paid for an energy boost and probably didn't get that added either. The cup was only filled about 3/4 of the way full too. I was very dissapointed in my experience at this location, and I will not be going here any longer. read more

On 10/5/14 at approx 3:25 pm I visited the Laguna Gateway branch. I ordered 2 large carrot orange squeeze and a mega mango. I watch as the staff deposit each orange half in the juicer which was caked with orange pulps all over the top and the outer side of the machine. As she proceed, half of the juice went through the spout, the other half spilled out, bathe the machine and funneled back into the same serving container. That's the juice that she was about to serve me. It was the most stomach churning sight to watch. I immediately requested to cancel my order. At which time I was informed by the staff the juicer was broken. I wished that Jamba Juice would put health and safety before profit by removing squeezed juice off the menu instead of serving drinks in such disgusting fashion. Owner please! Just left Jamba at about 10:50 am on Wednesday the 22nd of January. Walked in the door and instead of smelling the healthy smell of fruits and veggies we got a hit in the face with straight up CLOROX! Although the cashier was very apologetic, why would you do this to your customers? I had to go outside immediately as I am allergic to it and my eyes started burning immediately. You should leave this to the closing shift like most eatery's do, so the smell will have somewhat of a chance to dissipate by the morning. Healthy Place I don't think so! I enjoy the friendly and modern feel to Jamba Juice. The staff is nice enough and the service is, for the most part, prompt. If they are busy, I find that my order is not always executed correctly. The mistakes are never so bad though, that they won't happily fix it if I ask. I love trying the seasonal drinks as well. I have enjoyed fresh smoothies and juices for years on and off at various Jamba Juice locations. This morning I stopped in at my local Jamba Juice and was greeted by two employees who promptly offered me two different samples of their new fresh squeezed juices. One was a yellow citrus blend and the other was tropical greens. I tried both samples and changed my order to a small juice of the tropical greens. I had enjoyed the sample but when I received the full size version of it, not only was it very watery but it had a weird white powder that would separate from the rest of the juice and all the chia seeds sunk straight to the bottom. I only drank half of my juice and honestly regret ordering it, but I wanted to try something new and suppose I can't complain. I will still return to this location for any other juice or smoothie desires.
