This may be my first 5-star rating at this Starbucks yet. Thanks to Marko making my drink, and what a nice surprise to see him adding a shift here. He makes a great white chocolate mocha. This is the first time I've gone inside instead of the drive thru, and everyone on shift tonight was an absolute pleasure to see. I had a nice visit. Interesting that this store seems ti draw the customers that need work or play as a priority. Most tables were glued to the computer, one was reading documents, and another table had some type of card game going on. I felt out of place with the customers, but the staff had me feeling pretty special today, with a very nice manager on staff. Wish I knew his name. read more

The Good: the location has plenty of parking close by the Costco. The inside has plenty of chairs to sit in and if you're planning to study with a laptop or tablet they have plenty of wall plugs for charging. The Bad: drive through is constantly busy at this location, a lot easier to order inside. You can tell they made the location a lot more open than prior design with lower tables for their merchandise of cups and coffee, getting rid of the nice couches or comfy seats with side tables they use to have. They serve their typical sandwiches and pastries for food options. The outside patio area has umbrellas for the summer. Overall okay experience but definitely lost the old coffee shop feel it use to have without the great upholstered couches and chairs. The employees here are a hit or miss compared to other locations that have a more welcoming feel to them. Some of the baristas have attitude and you can definitely feel it. Something has change in culture for sure. read more

Ordered a medium frapp, came out to be about $7.20. Be wary that Saturday mornings between 7-9am, there can be long lines and difficulty exiting and entering due to so many vehicles. They have good service and lots of options though, and I really like this location overall compared to other Starbuck spots. read more

I like this Starbucks because it's the closest one to me, but I try to avoid coming during busy times (especially on weekends) since parking can get pretty tight. The mobile app makes things easier -- you can order ahead and skip the wait, which I highly recommend. I ordered a strawberry frappe, which was given to me without the whip (that comes standard with the drink) or the extra puree I ordered. The next time I went, I ordered the same. This time, it had whip, but still no extra puree. Also, the Strawberry Acai was watered down. Unless you are visiting In-and-Out or Costco, I would not recommend this Starbucks. It is not worth the double-dutch you will have to do to get in and out of the parking lot. read more

I am not going to lie I am a regular! I come here all the time and the employees must recognize me by now lol I have been coming here at least twice/thrice a week for yeaaarrsss. I know this starbucks very well I promise! The employee that has stuck out to me the most is Elijah. Elijah is very efficient and quick when handling the drive thru. He is also very kind and super understanding when it comes to drink orders and I'm always very happy when he's working cause I know my coffee will be exactly the way I want it and a smooth easy process. I had the pleasure of working with Sydney today who is always a sweetheart. The only competition would have to the Starbucks on Target Laguna Blvd they're super good and always make my drinks sweet how I like it. Karina was also working and greeted me w a smile. Marcus is always being efficient in the drive thru. Rose was also kind to me. Matt was super fast w making drinks and calling them out. I ordered the new mango strawberry lemonade refresher. They gave me a mango dragon fruit so I asked if they can remake it. They left the dragonfruit chunks just added strawberry and still tasted like mango dragonfruit. I get my coffee at Starbucks drive thru everyday. Today I chose a different location and decided to sit inside the restaurant. This location is great! The barista brought my drink and oatmeal to my table! They are so nice here. There were people playing board games and working on their laptops. The seating area has high ceilings and is very open and nicer than the other Starbucks in Elk Grove. Great experience. I will be back! read more

I placed a mobile order at this location and made sure to get there a few minutes past the expected time range (since I figured they'd be a bit delayed). I never got a notice that the drink was ready on my phone. I walked in and expected to be waiting a while longer, but my drink was sitting on their counter. Like usual, they were busy, so there was no words exchanged with the employees, and I grabbed my drink and left. There's many Starbucks all over Elk Grove, and it's pretty much what you'd expect of any Starbucks. No complaints. *I do recommend this location over the one further down EG Blvd off of Franklin (near Raley's); I've had some bad experiences there. read more

Elk Grove or I should say the entire country has many Starbucks everywhere. This one is a typical Starbucks they have built in recent years. Most of the newly built Starbucks are standalone buildings. They have a drive-through, which has a long line whenever you are there. This is precisely what this Starbucks does every day! Fortunately, the line of this Starbucks is always moving very fast. It looks worse than it is! The drinks are very stable from this store. They tasted great every time. The seating area at this location is comfortable and enjoyable. I like the parking lot in front of this location. I can always get a parking spot not far from the entrance. read more

Another Starbucks is probably the last thing we need in Elk Grove but alas here we are... just in case you can't drive 1.5 miles north or south to the other two closest locations, this brand new one is now open in the Costco shopping center. They do have a drive thru here, which we only have at the locations off of I-5 Laguna & 99 Elk Grove, so I'll give them that. I placed a mobile order ahead of time and picked up in person so I could check out the inside of the store. It's so shiny and new and the decor and color scheme are nice and bright, much more open than some of the older shops. There was no line at all and they were standing around ready to hand me my mobile order. They even had time to write a nice little "Thank You!" on the outside of my cup. Our drinks tasted great, standard Starbucks quality (and price tag). I try to go to local coffee shops as much as possible but sometimes I've just gotta go to Starbucks and get their seasonal drinks, or use my Gold reward stars. I'll probably frequent this location the most over the other drive thrus, since I don't pass the Laguna one often, and the Elk Grove auto mall drive thru has a terrible design, leaving you waiting in the middle of the road or the parking lot. read more

I was super excited when this location open! This is honestly the most fancies Starbucks I ever been too! Or at least in the Sacramento area. I love the decor and the bathroom area. The employees here are super nice me and my friends were outside and a barista notice that my friend didn't have a drink and offer water to my friend. The drinks are good too and I haven't had any problems at this location. The only downside is the tables outside, and sometimes near the pickup area is dirty with crumbs or drink spill. But there new and hopefully they can fix this problem! read more

They're busyyyyy throughout the day but quick! I came in to get some work done on Monday morning and the door was practically revolving and the drive thru line was super long. My lemonade was a bit bland. I'm not sure they put enough lemonade or sweetner tbh. The bathroom is a bit strange. There are two different "rooms" and the sink is right outside in an open area. The hand dryer is also apart of the soap and water dispenser. A bit different. The space is pretty large with plenty of space for those to work/study and a good amount of outlets. read more

Who does not love Starbucks. Starbucks has always been one of my favorite coffee places. Love my White Chocolate Mocha in the mornings. Sometimes with my Bacon Cheddar sandwich. I wish they were more consistent when making drinks but they don't mind remaking it. I think they get so busy they don't make sure to measure correctly. I have been a Starbucks lover for quite some time now. No disrespect to the Dutch Bros or Peet's fans. I get it, they're both great as well. I have tried going to Dutch Bros. a few times lately just to change things up, but they just aren't Starbucks! When this new location was built, I was really worried about how busy it was going to be. One, it's in a prime location, and two, it's around a bunch of great shops/stores. I will say that I have been to this location's drive thru many times with my 11-year old Starbucks loving daughter, and the line has been pretty long. However, it always goes super quickly! They always seem to be in stock of whatever food items that we order, and our drinks are always made exactly how we like them. We have yet to sit in the outdoor area, but it always seems like a total vibe. Definitely a good location to check out if it's in your area! read more
