What happened here? Sometimes I go here and Just don't even want to go back. Depends on the day with the workers and drinks. I typically order the aftershock and the Rebels. Sometimes the workers are just in a bad mood, No kidding So am I. But what really does it, is the lack of consistency in the iced coffees. It tastes like MILK with a small drop of expresso. Then other times they just make it just right, it's almost an On and off relationship. They should look into this because I see workers just hanging out, joking around and making sloppy drinks. I placed an order online for a pick up time at 11:15. I arrived at 11:05 with 3 cars ahead of me. I went through the drive thru. I thought the line would go by quickly but just getting to the window alone took 20 minutes. Then had to wait another couple of minutes for them to make my drink. My favorite DB spot, close to home and it's like everybody knows your name (Cheers reference)...not really but everyone is really chill, lol. I've never been a real coffee buff so I don't venture out on coffee drinks too much. And like to stick to what I know which used to be very little, so I'd typically just ordered an ice white Mocha. One day I asked the girl outside taking the order what I typically get and want something similar but not so heavy on the heavy cream. And she suggested the drink I now get almost every day (dub shot over ice, 5 heavy creams, and vanilla flavoring). It's basically a milder iced Vanilla Brevé. Also all of the staff are really friendly, and like to make small talk about your day which is pretty nice. This is my go-to Dutch location because it's located near me. I love the drink selection, and the staff has always been friendly. Despite the lines usually being long, they go quickly. I recently downloaded the app to earn points for my purchases, which I find well rewarding! I do want to mention that it seems they have difficulty printing receipts. I asked for a receipt upon ordering, then was directed to ask at the pick-up window, then was met with confusion at the pick-up window. The staff seemed caught off guard by me asking for one. It took a couple of minutes for the receipt to get printed. Besides this, I have enjoyed this location and will continue to stop here for drinks! read more

Pretty nice coffee place! The line is long, with 2 lines going in opposite directions! Still, the serve staff are all very friendly. They even helped explain a lot of items in the menu, and which items have caffeine and which doesn't etc. Basically you get sit-down-restaurant-style service, at a drive-through location. Great! Never seen anything like it. The price is reasonable, and the portions are big. Definitely good quality for the money. Overall, a good coffee place. Will definitely go back in the future! read more

I'm always a big fan of Dutch Bros coffee. When I live in Arizona I would definitely go at least once every couple of months. I always enjoyed how friendly they were, how the drinks were tasty, and quality. Dutch brothers is always vibe and so it's always nice to see the worker's having fun. It shouldn't had a to drive up options. One site was much busier than the other. As soon as I ordered I was able to get my drink within 5 minutes. I got caught up with the advertisement and ordered the ice cold brew Orange coffee. I was very satisfied with my selection. The cold brew was given me an Orange chocolate flavor and I really enjoyed that period. I hope we get a Dutch Bros coffee out in Illinois. I know it will be very successful but also to become a franchise owner you have to actually work for Dutch brothers so maybe that's why it's taken so long to make its way out to the Midwest. read more

This Dutch Brothers is on the corner of Sheldon Road and Elk Grove Florin Road in Elk Grove, CA, smack in the suburbs. It has two drive thru lanes each going in opposite directions from each other. I didn't know this initially. The sweet gals staffing the drive thru lane closest to the Sheldon Road parking lot entrance informed me of that and advised that the other line is shorter. So I drove on over to that line which is closest to the Elk Grove Florin Road parking lot entrance. Good thing I did, I got my drink lickety split and was back in the road. Actually I got my drink quicker than the other cars in the other lane that were there before me. But wait for it... My small mocha freeze looked so pretty. But it didn't taste like an usual DB freeze. It was flavorless and icy. This is my go to DB drink so I pretty much know how a well made one tastes. This one was bland and icy. Womp womp ( sad trombone music). Quite disappointing considering it cost $5.95 and I drove a bit out of my way to get one. read more

Mobile ordering in advance serves no purpose - waited almost 50 minutes after ordering. I wanted to get my Dutch Bros fix, and I saw that this location has mobile ordering. I always mobile order when I go to Starbucks to save time, so I thought it was about time Dutch Bros joined the party. I placed a mobile order at home. It gave me a longer estimated wait time than I expected considering it normally takes me five to ten minutes in the drive through, but I figured with the drive I would only have to wait a few minutes. I get to Dutch Bros. The app said to go to the pickup window to get my mobile order. It would have been nice to just get in the drive through line, but I figured they implemented this to speed up the process. There was only one other person ahead of me waiting for their mobile order. 10+ minutes pass and neither of us have gotten our orders. By this time, I've seen at least 15-20 cars get into line in the drive through, place their order, and leave. A worker comes over and asks both of us about our orders. We give her our order information and she says they'll start on it. Five more minutes pass and they finally bring out the order for the person that was in front of me. More customers continue to be helped in the drive through. Another customer comes to the pickup window and it takes a while because she wanted to buy multiple gift cards in small increments but only have one credit card transaction that doesn't show the price on the receipt (guessing she was trying to expense the gift cards for work? lol). By the time this customer is done being helped, I've seen more than 40 cars come and go through the drive through, and it's been close to 50 minutes since I ordered online at home before driving to Dutch Bros. A different employee asks if I been helped and I told him that I placed a mobile order a long time ago and he goes "oh, you're that mobile order. Let me start on your order!" All this time and they had yet to start on my order. Unbelievable. A different employee brings me my order in less than two minutes. I'm pretty irritated at this point and I ask, "does everyone that goes through the drive through get priority over mobile orders?!" and she simply replied, "yeah, sorry." Obviously, I left pretty heated. Maybe it was because I was so bitter at this point, but my drink didn't taste good lol Dutch Bros really needs to figure out the prioritization of the mobile ordering system. They gave me an extra-long estimated wait time as a buffer, but they still made me wait a ridiculous amount of time after the estimated pickup time. It doesn't make sense that more than 40 cars were helped after I got to Dutch Bros. Considering my commute time, there probably were at least another 10 cars that were helped in that time. Probably won't be mobile ordering again and will stick to the drive through if I decide to come back. read more

Friendly service and reasonable prices. Great for drive thru coffee but keep in mind they get pretty busy. I had to take some stars off because there was no menu up and it had been a while since I had DB so I had to ask about the drinks. This is not bad since the server was able to recommend something, but for visual people it'd be nice to see a menu when you drive up. Overall good coffee and good service. I just recommend looking up what you want ahead of time or ask if they have something similar to your regular drink from somewhere else. read more
