This feedback is for your BWI (Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport) I will also bubble this feedback up to the appropriate business partners. This experience took place on Tuesday, November 12th between 1:20pm 1:50pm eastern time. No one needs to experience this type of service from any client facing establishment! 1. I have a dairy allergy and requested a plant based milk, specifically Almond milk. 2. I watched the employee prepare, what I assumed was my smoothie, the employee didn't use the plant based milk, he used 2% milk. I know this because the carton that was poured in the blending container was labeled 2%. 3. The employee finished preparing the smoothie and brought it over to the pickup counter area, I asked for confirmation if this order was the correct order and that if it was with Almond Milk. He looked at the label on the cup that specified the almond milk substitution. He replied, ' this is correct ', and turned and walked away. 4. I said to him, no this is not correct, I watched you make my order to completion, without any obstruction point of view, and I saw you pour milk in the container. He said that he used almond milk, gestured to a carton. I said the carton you poured in to the container wasn't the one, it was the blue and white one, that is labeled 2% milk. He said he made 2 separate smoothies, and that one had milk and the other had almond milk. I said I watch you make this order that is front of me from start to finish. 5. He made a rude comment, and told the cashier to make my smoothie, and he walked away. 6. I was surprised by this level of service, I asked the cashier to refund my order. I asked the 3rd employee who was in charge and the same employee that prepared the smoothie, overheard my question, and replied that he was in charge. I told him that I wasn't talking to him. The cashier apologized after I shared with him my frustration. I grew up in the service industry, and I know that it is not an easy job. My experience today, was unacceptable. It is rare for me to have Jamba Juice, but when I do it's normally at the airport, and it's normally a protein shake and almost regularly my experience is good. Today's experience was not ok. I really love Jamba Juice. I ordered my son and I a drink. I had a medium Caribbean Passion with extra boost kale and he had a medium Strawberry Wild. Deaisa greeted me with a smile and a Good Morning. She took my order and the gentleman who also works here blended the smoothies and brought them to me. They have water, pretzels and other things to eat and drink, but this is all I ever order so I was content. I love Kale in my drinks and smoothie, so I had them to add that on. My son had his plain. There's a Jamba Juice in my office building, so I get their smoothies or bowls semi-regularly, and I like them but wouldn't normally go when I'm not at work. But, I've been to this one at least twice in the past year and a number of times before that because Jamba can be the perfect nourishment while traveling. Sometimes, you're at an airport, you've been schlepping around all day and have lots of schlepping still to come, and you need nourishment but don't want to spend the rest of your travel feeling weighed down by fast food and don't necessarily want to spend your time sitting in a food court (you might want to get to your gate, or stop at airport shops, etc.) Jamba delivers in such situations. You can get a smoothie that'll be filling but won't leave you with a stomach full of grease. It'll be in a cup with a straw to consume as you're doing whatever you do at the airport (and you can take it on the plane!). And, while I have my favorite orders there, pretty much everything they serve is delicious. This Jamba is at a very convenient location at a crossroads in the airport. OOH, that's obviously, as I said, convenient. OTOH, the lines can get a little long. In my experience, they keep the line moving, though. They make each smoothie (etc.) to order, so service can't be instant. But, I've only been there when they were busy, and even when I went at a peak time on one of the busiest travel days of the year, they took orders quickly and the wait time from ordering to getting your smoothie was well under five minutes. read more

I am always in the mood for a good smoothie and Jamba Juice was n the right place at the right time. Looking for something to quiet the stomach rumblings but not willing to commit to a full meal at the time, I made my way here to see what I could see. When in doubt, Mango it out, well that's my motto anyway and if did not steer me wrong. I went with a Mango a Go Go and it was a sure thing. I could taste small pieces of mango in ti which was pleasant because they were far a few between so the smooth consistency was still present. Texture was just right too which is always subject to the maker. My moms on the other hand was supposed to be a Peach Perfection but as she drank it she said it was lacking the peach flavor which led us to deduce some of the other fruits overpowered the punch of peach in the smoothie which threw the taste off. Our guess, but who knows lol. We even went back to confirm it was in fact the Peach Perfection and the young lady advised us it was. The young lady at the register ran a tight ship, calling the next customer, repeating your order, asking if you wanted anything else, gave you your total, processed your transaction and then asked if you wanted a receipt. Yup, just like that. Just as you read it, that is exactly how it went down lol. Now the young lady at the end of the counter who poured the smoothies as they were made was personable. She asked how our day was as she poured them into their respective cups, handed us straws, thanked us for our purchase and bid us farewell. While waiting for my flight at BWI, I was looking for a smoothie spot and walked across this Jamba Juice. It's centrally located between concourse A and B. The prices are affordable considering how airport food is priced higher. The smoothies range from $4-6 and they have small, medium, and large size cups. The employee that took my order was friendly but, I would especially would like to give a shout-out to the employee who made my smoothie. I originally ordered strawberry and banana smoothie with peanut butter, I made sure to tell the lady I wanted peanut butter! When the guy came back with my smoothie I asked if peanut butter was inside the smoothie and he said no. What I especially liked about him was that he made me a new smoothie with peanut butter. I don't like the idea of spending what I could get for a meal on a small smoothie that probably isn't as fresh as I would like to hope. I tried the Green Apple smoothie and thought it was just OK. I really only do smoothies from smoothie king so I was stand offish for here. But it was so worth trying. I got it the peach perfection and it was amazing. The staff is fast I arrived and the line was already long boarding the line of most chic fila places but it did go pass fast. Maybe it's the being inside the airport reasoning but it went smoothly. (Not a joke or pun) anyway from how it's set up you can look almost inside and for a Thursday night and a long line it was kept clean.
