It was soooo stinking cute in here and the food was even better. I had a burger but I could not stop staring at the rest of my families plates. I literally could not choose what I wanted because EVERYTHING sounded so good! I asked some members of my group what they rated their food and experience the average rating came out to 8.5/10. Our top choices were the French Toast and the Burgers! Staff was also wonderful and a business always gets a 10/10 when get are able to accommodate a large part of over 10 with a less than 20minute notice. Shout out to yall!

This was close to our hotel and serving breakfast later on the weekends, so we decided to give it a try. The minute we pulled up we noticed a large wait outside (good sign!). The hostess was so nice and they powered through the wait pretty quickly and efficiently. Inside is nice and light and bright and the food all looked delicious. Our sever Diana as so friendly and immediately came by to offer us water and anything else to drink we needed. Honestly she was so friendly and immediately just a lovely presence. They have a huge breakfast menu with pretty much anything you could want. My fiance went with the corned beef hash, eggs, hashbrowns and biscuits while I did the breakfast burrito. Pro tip- you can get different meat options in the breakfast burrito (I went with the pulled pork, it's Dallas!!). Everything came out fast and hot and exactly cooked to order. Definitely a great spot with very fair prices. Portions were large so you don't leave hungry!

The food was good, but the service was what really made my day. My cousin and I enjoyed a breakfast of migas and chicken and waffles. It's good - not OHMYGODWRITEHOME good, but still pleasant. Parking is easy and in a huge lot, and the space was bright and welcoming. Service was very prompt, and she was so incredibly kind and like a ninja with everything she did. The food, like I said, is good. My chicken was pounded very thin and it was tender. However, there is one (albeit large) thin piece. It was more like a schnitzel than "fried chicken" and it is chicken breast, not thighs. Overall, it's a fantastic place to grab a quick bite and socialize. Portions are generous and it won't break the bank. Plus, you will have a fantastic service experience.

Beyond Burger on Brioche.

When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the server. After looking at the menu for a while, I narrowed the options to the Turkey bacon club or the Beyond Burger. I asked the server which she thought I should get, she said the club. I chose the burger. Should have listened to her. The brioche was hard, no mayo or anything, so I was already disappointed. The burger patty was dry and way overcooked. It came with this HUGE onion slice. Unnecessary. The fries were soggy and completely void of seasoning. For $15, the entire meal was a miss. I would try this place again, but I would change my order completely. There are so many restaurants in that area to choose from, so maybe they make good toast. Or jam. Do not recommend at this time.

Tuna melt and lukewarm French fries $12.55

I finally was able to try Jam + Toast! I group of us went for a birthday lunch during the week, so thankfully, there wasn't a line out the door. We did have to wait about 5 minutes for a big enough table to accommodate us all. The large tables had only two sitting at them- not sure why they did that. Once we all ordered, we began the waiting game. One side order would be served. An entree... then another person's side of pancakes. The orders were staggered by at least 5 minutes each, so it was uncomfortable. I personally hate eating food that has gone cold, so I encouraged them to eat whatever had already been delivered. Why not bring out the entire order at the same time? I ordered the tuna melt sandwich with French fries. The sandwich was decent, but I have honestly made better at home. It was quite bland. The fries were lukewarm. When we were leaving, I noticed the wall next to the door had paint ripped off for some reason. I mean, they close early, so why couldn't that have been fixed? Will I return? Most likely, no. High prices and poor service with mediocre food. Bummer!

Food was standard Sysco fare. Biscuits and gravy were both bought and the biscuits were reheated and soggy. Jelly is sold (apparently it's homemade?) but if you don't pay for it, you get the little smuckers packets.

I love this place!!! It is a gem that needs more recognition. I found this place and looked at the menu and they had a very big g menu. I couldn't really pick what I wanted because they had so many good choices. We went here for my son's birthday brunch and let me tell you their food was so awesome.!! I am a foodie and I love experiencing new restaurants, but I've never been to. I am so glad that I found this place. Everyone enjoyed their meals and said that we gonna have to come back a few times just to taste other items on the menu. It's a small, little quaint place not a lot of seating for crowd but it is definitely worth it. We were a crowd of 9 and I made a reservation ahead of time. Unfortunately, all my family didn't come all at the same time, but they were very patient with us. The manager told us don't worry about it whenever all the parties are here they will be seated. They are only open until 2 o'clock, but because my family arrived a little later than a reservation, they still continue to serviced us past closing. The customer service was impeccable the manager, the waitress, and the woman in the front by the cashier. They were all so respectful, great customer service, friendly. We tried so many different items and everything was delicious. We have a family will definitely be back to try some of the other things that we wanted that we saw on the menu.

We were on the search for a new breakfast place. Just dropping our son at DFW, there were ton of options. We decided on Jam & Toast. The parking lot was shared by other businesses, so many spots were available. We were greeted when we walked in and were immediately seated. Hubby had Eggs Benedict and I had pecan waffle and hash browns with grilled onions. I also ordered a side of bacon. They offered lattes which was a plus. Hubby said his meal was ok. The eggs were overcooked. Hash browns were not quite done. Maybe an off day. He loved his latte. My breakfast was ok. Good waffle. Huge! Bacon perfect. Hash browns (requested crispy) with grilled onions had purple onions. Never had it prepared like this. Not a fan. Coffee was nice an strong. Never an empty cup. It was super clean. Jennifer, our server, was attentive and was very nice. Total was $51. Might be back. Enjoy the photos.

Came for Mother's Day and the place was packed... and for good reason. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was an overall nice brunch atmosphere.

Went for brunch with a friend and was so good! The server was so sweet and recommended the Banana & Nutella French Toast which was delicious! We also got the steak and eggs which was really good! We added extra salt and pepper to our liking! Definite must try!

Ambiance was refreshing, clean and neatly organized. The service was great can't complain. The young lady was attentive, even suggested some of customer's favorite dishes, since it was our first time. Definitely recommend it, the portions were great, taste was on point. We will be back for sure and I will recommend!

Hudson House was an absolutely fantastic dining experience!…read more For lunch, I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, Lemon Parmesan Broccoli, and Lobster Mac & Cheese. Everything was delicious! The chicken parm was satisfying, the broccoli was a perfect complement, and the lobster mac and cheese was a rich, indulgent treat. But believe it or not, the highlight of my meal was the Arnold Palmer! It was so refreshing that I ended up having SIX refills throughout lunch! And the best part? The staff gladly kept refilling my glass without hesitation. Now THAT is hospitality! It's the little things that make a dining experience memorable, and Hudson House clearly understands the importance of great customer service. Delicious food, a wonderful atmosphere, and genuinely attentive service. I came for lunch and left thoroughly impressed. Five stars! I'll definitely be back -- and yes, I'll be ordering another Arnold Palmer!

When we entered, we were greeted quickly and seated immediately after. My friend had the salmon, and I ordered the burger. The server asked if I wanted fries, I declined. We also ordered oysters. The burger was served with a large seasoned pickle, it was a pretty good burger. The oysters were decent. My friend enjoyed her salmon. We ended up ordering side of fries, which were the "shoestring" type. Those were surprisingly good. Our server was very young and probably hasn't had much experience yet. He lacked the ability to anticipate his guests needs; such as I had to walk to the bar to ask for a straw for my iced tea. Which was not a problem at all. He was very good with everything, overall. The food didn't take long and the atmosphere was bright and energetic. I would definitely return.

The service is great, the atmosphere is cool, and now the food is amazing. I recently discovered The Ranch's secret to having me returning on a weekly basis - The Whiskey Bread Pudding. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Country fun honkey tonk hipster with lots of business people. That sums it up. Bonus - the waiting area has very comfy couches. But if you book a table with OpenTable you don't have to wait. 1 Star. Service - The service is always great, and for the first time a different server grabbed my drink order because the other server was busy. Teamwork makes the dream work. 1 Star. Food - If you plan on visiting The Rance one time, I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Steak. Topped with a creamy jalapeno gravy, the CFS sits on a bed of green beans and is served with a side of mashed potatoes. It's a good portion, and the flavor is enhanced by the gravy. Honestly, it's just the appetizer. The real reason I keep coming back to The Ranch is the Whiskey Bread Pudding. The bread pudding is soft, warm, and topped with vanilla ice cream. Savor the warm caramel bite as the vanilla cools your mouth. Easily can be shared. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I think it's been 3 weeks in a row now. Yes, I really like what they've done to the menu. See ya next Friday. 1 Star.

Stop reading this and go to Whiskey Cake... Now! So, you want to know a little bit more? Ok here…read moregoes... We are new to the Dallas area and this is the first restaurant we tried and we enjoyed it so much we've been back twice already! The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable and by enjoyable I mean the staff is friendly and something I really like is the sound level. Yes there is music and you can hear people enjoying themselves but it doesn't have that manufactured loud sound level that some spots have. The bar is beautiful with a back bar of bottles going all the way up to the ceiling and its not just for show I saw bartenders going up on the ladder to grab bottles. The drinks themselves are 5-Stars in both quality & presentation and yes you can feel them :) I had the Guava Gimlet every time because I enjoyed it so much. My Son had The Great Rum Punch and a Raspberry Bourbon Mule which he enjoyed equally. This is truly a craft cocktail bar! But this is not just a bar, the food is also 5-Stars starting with the Deviled Eggs. One of my favorite things and I think these are the best I've ever had!! We love them so much we get them every time:) My only complaint is that they give you 5 which means we have to split one between us LOL Entrees are OMG Over multiple visits we each had the Prime Rib & Gouda Stack WOW just so much flavor from the plentiful prime rib slices, gouda cheese and all the fresh toppings on the sourdough bread... So Yum!! Hers a tip as you eat it let the dripping fall onto your fries ;) I also had French Onion Burger which was just as good and He had the Fish 'N' Chips, one of his favorites, that was enormous and one of the best he's had. I couldn't write this review without telling you about the dessert that gave this place it's name. A sticky toffee cake with bourbon glaze, pecans & fresh whip cream plus vanilla ice cream. This is just one of the best desserts I've ever had. I can't tell you how good this is! Make sure and save room and be sure to get the ice cream :) There are basically three spaces inside with both tables and high top bar tables in addition to a patio. There is plenty of parking in a well lit lot. Once again I want to say that the staff is friendly, attentive and helpful.
