The lady saw us waiting and took people who arrived way after us first, we kindly asked about how long till we will be seated and she wouldn't give us an answer. To wait that long to sit at the kitchen counter is obscured! We were just 2 people not a huge party. We loved this place so much we stopped there twice on our ski trip--on the way from the airport to Big Sky and again on the way home. The restaurant has a good vibe--not upscale but not a diner either--but the food is really what sets it apart. Everything is fresh and well made.. We had pancakes, cinnamon roll, reuben, various salads--they were all delicious. It's not cheap considering you're in Bozeman but the quality shows. We'll be back. read more

Jam! is one of the best places in Bozeman to go for breakfast or brunch. Although I haven't visited for lunch, I can only assume it is just as delicious. I have tried everything, from the eggs benedict to the pancakes and the hash, and have yet to be disappointed. While the food is delicious, what has always sold me is their food accommodations. They are always willing to make it gluten-free if they can, which is hard to find in many restaurants. I will always be a loyal customer of Jam! read more

I always get the eggs Benedict, which I love. However, please pick new plates for it! These plates are too narrow, and result in many near spills from hitting the edge too hard while cutting. Crepes are also great. One other complaint - your summer call ahead list is awful. Sometimes I end up on the list, other times I show up (after having called) and am told that I'm just being put on the list the and have to wait a ton more. Please switch to something like the Montana ale works waiting list that you can easily join from their webpage. It's a better experience for customers, and will save your employees time. read more

This place was top notch from the start! The hostess was great, the service was amazing and our waitress, Sarah, was impressive! And to top it off, the food...I'm speechless! Let me tell you about the food!!!! I'm a sucker for GOOD biscuits and gravy. The biscuits & gravy here....WERE ABSOLUTELY FRICKING AMAZING!!!!! Had lunch at Jam this week while traveling to Bozeman for work. The atmosphere was great inside the restaurant; good music, nice staff, and just an all around good vibe. I had the Adobo burger; adobo rubbed burger patty accompanied by pepper jack, jalapeños, fresh avocado and the best chipotle aioli I've tasted in a buttery delicious brioche bun. The hand cut fries was deliciously seasoned and came with a side of fresh homemade ketchup. I was loving every bite I took but we were sitting by the food prep area and I couldn't help but eye every dish that was leaving the kitchen. I wanted it all!!! We were prepared for a long wait knowing it is a popular spot and we were there at the height of the tourist season. Thankfully, it was only 20 minutes and worth the wait. Our server was friendly and diligent. Between the four of us, we had the cinnamon roll appetizer, a kids breakfast, the Jam reuben, and the pork tacos. Everything was great, including the fresh brewed iced tea. The shredded pork had a great smoky flavor and the homemade ranch and ketchup ruined us for boring, old, shelf stable condiments. The Bloody Mary - insane, fresh Oj - always amazing and their soy milk lattes - always crafted to perfection. I've had their breakfast burritos, crepes, coconut banana and blueberry ricotta pancakes, avo toast, stuffed French toast and other deserts and I have NEVER been disappointed. The food is always so savory it blows my mind. My sister had the Elvis crepe and the puerco verde crepe and she could not stop raving about them! My go to options are the coconut banana pancake and the puerco verde crepe. As you can tell, I've been in here a countless amount of time and the reason why I keep coming back is because this business is incredibly consistent with their food and customer service. To stand out in the foodie paradise that is Bozeman, MT. is not an easy feat, but Jam! does it. The nitro cold brew kept us happy while we waited for a table, which was a reasonable 15 minutes. The food was a cut above, I got the Game Cock sandwich and it was absolutely phenomenal, and our kids actually finished their entire meal, which has never happened in a restaurant before. The only thing keeping it from a perfect score is honestly a longer than average wait time for food, but it was fairly busy and it is completely excusable for that visit. I thought I'd try their homemade English muffin- I found it to be extremely chewy. They could definitely use some improvement. The low rating is simply for the atmosphere- super loud restaurant with loud music playing and so many people seated indoors, so their voices too add to the volume. Wish they would also space out the tables for better privacy - you can tell they're wanting to cram in as many people/tables as possible. Had to almost shout to my friend across the table to carry on a conversation. Not a relaxing way to have your brunch. Long lines to get into the restrooms too. Only 2 for entire restaurant. You can also feel rushed by your waitstaff to finish your meal. Standing there & talking to you while you're working on your last 2 forkfuls to take away your plate was not something I've experienced before! My fiancé and I came here for breakfast while we're visiting from out of town and the food was phenomenal! I had the beef & root hash which was so fresh & delicious and my fiancé had the bananas foster pancakes which were so sweet and decadent. Not only was the food amazing, but the service here is top notch. They should give tutorials on how to flip tables quickly and efficiently. When we first arrived there was a line out the door of people waiting and we thought it would be a long wait for sure, however when we put our name down they told us 15 minutes and I think we waited even less time than that. We spent the week skiing in nearby Big Sky and stopped into Jam before flying home based on good reviews we saw on yelp. Let me tell you, Jam exceeded our (already high) expectations! We arrived at peak brunch time 11:30am on a busy Saturday and were quoted a 45min wait, but it only took 30min to be seated. Awesome bright and friendly vibe to the restaurant. Everyone there was very kind- one staff member spotted an Indiana shirt in our group and came over to say hello (go Hoosiers!) As far as the meal goes, I had the biscuits and gravy- best I have ever had. See picture, but it came with two basted eggs and bacon on top. So delicious. Home fries were fantastic. Others in our group had various pancakes- favorites included the peanut butter cup and cinnamon roll pancakes. The bacon was some of the most flavorful I have ever eaten.
