Custom tail pipe tucked up high & tight, exhaust drone is gone!
    Nelson K.

Lifted, dropped, slammed hot rodder, JDM, all gearheads are welcome at Jalisco Muffler. The boss man Luis has got you covered for all your needs. My lowered Silverado needed a custom tailpipe to go up and over the rear-end, and also had to be tucked up high close to the bed (for suspension/rear end travel). We exchanged a few ideas, Luis is a professional knew exactly what I needed done and made the best suggestions. I'm an older man that's been in the car/motorcycle game hustling for over 35 years, highly recommend this neighborhood shop.

5 star service, Fast efficient reliable place to go for all your muffler needs Called, no weight time, got me on lift, problems fixed and in and out in 20 minutes. Highly recommended

Hands down the best muffler shop in Long Beach. Fast affordable, and the service is by far the best in regards to quality of work, attention to detail, and customer service.. Gracias Luis!

I went to Jalisco Muffler shop, at PCH, and meet this very nice guy his name is Lius(owner). I ask him what the best muffler sounds for my toyota tundra 5.7 liter engine, and he is very accommodating person, he will tell you the best for your sounds muffler. In the first place I was so skeptical, however Luis is a very professional, the way I observed, and talking to him. After he had been done, the moment I start my truck, I was convinced and amazed from the sounds of my tail pipe. Awesome sounds, deep and rich.....broooooommm....I like it. Luis is honest, and upfront, thank you Mr.LUIS NOTE: Do not spend too much money for all these advertisements if you only wants the sound. The price that Luis gave me is awsome for my budget, can't complain. Satisfied.

The sound was so deep and clean. Beyond what I expected from just adding headers and tips with removing the resonator.

Used Yelp's business finder to get a few quotes for my two non-working low beam headlights, and…read morethis shop stood out right away. They responded quickly, were courteous, and didn't try to tack on a diagnostic fee just to take a look. When I dropped off the car, the technician walked me through their process, starting with the bulbs before moving into any potential electrical issues (which I really appreciated.) It ended up being the simplest fix: both bulbs were burned out. They had everything replaced within a few hours. Fair pricing, clear communication, and no upselling. I'll definitely be back for future repairs. Side note- they have the cutest shop kitten. ‍

I had been here once before and had a great experience, so when my car's AT light went on…read moreunexpectedly one night I called them first thing the next morning to see if they could get it in. They said they could and gave me a timeline for working on the vehicle that matched my needs. While I appreciate them getting me in on short notice, they consistently over-promised and under-delivered on when they would be able to work on my vehicle. They were able to diagnose a couple of leaks that they thought were the problem and sent me photos to show me what they were looking at. In the past when I've left my car at this shop for work they sent over a detailed estimate before starting the work, but this time I only received the verbal estimate over the phone. I drive an old car, which isn't worth much, and I did let the person know that I wasn't interested in investing more in repairs than the vehicle is worth. As it was, the two leaks were just over $1K to fix, and I OK'd the work to begin. After fixing the first two leaks, they then came back and told me there was a third leak, which would require a more major repair to the transmission and they would have to have their transmission person (who wasn't there that weekend) send me an estimate the next day. While I understand that it's plausible that the third leak wasn't something they could have originally diagnosed, it felt a bit weird that the photo they used to show me the leak was one of the original photos they had sent before starting any work. If the leak was visible in that photo, I'm unclear why they couldn't have diagnosed it earlier. The added cost of this additional repair definitely tips the scales of worth-it/not-worth-it to repair vs replace this car, so I wish I had had all the information before deciding to make the initial repairs. Unfortunately, despite stabilizing the ATF level, fixing the leaks did not resolve the transmission issue. On a smaller scale, they didn't check or top up the tire pressure, which most mechanics I've gone to have done as a courtesy when working on my vehicle. The day after I picked up my car the tire pressure light went on, and when I checked my tires all four of them had low pressure. It's a small thing, but especially when dealing with expensive mechanical items like cars, the small things matter a lot in creating a sense of security and trust with your mechanic. They did mention that they were under new management since the last time I had been in, which may account for the different experiences.

The second time, they would not even look at my car unless I agreed to pay them $150 diagnostic fee just to look at the new issues. While I'm arguing with them about their refusal to stand behind their work, another guy brings in his car with 3 new issues he had immediately after his service with them. I just want a mechanic that fixes what I ask them to fix without creating new problems. First time, came for AC repair, oil change, and to fix the rear brake lights. After paying $1,200, I pick up the car and the AC still doesn't work and I've got scratches on the trunk lid, probably from the car wash they took it to. The woman that runs the office insisted that I never asked them to fix the AC instead of realizing that the owner forgot to write down that I wanted the AC fixed. I still have no idea what they fixed for $1,200. I brought it back for the AC work and they buffed out the scratches. Good. But after I picked it up, I started hearing rattling when I accelerated. And later, I realized that the passenger door would only work manually. So, I brought it back to them and they refused to look at these new issues unless I agreed to pay them $150 inspection fee if the event that they decide that they didn't cause the problem. And they could decide that arbitrarily. If a mechanic won't look at your new, after service issues without payment, find another garage.
