I've had mixed experiences with Jade Pacific. The last time I ate dinner there, the food was poorly executed, even by Chinese fast food standards. More recently my wife got take out from there though was really pretty good though and the portions were really larger than I expected. The building is a bit of an eyesore. The side that faces the street would make you think it was a warehouse. There's often some kitchen worker standing next to it smoking a cigarette. I guess that's par for the course when it comes to Chinese fast food places though. read more

This place has the best Chinese food. I compare every other Chinese restaurant to this place and am always left wanting. The decor is definitely dated inside, but that's part of the charm. The food is always good, and the drinks are potent. Try the scorpion bowls but make sure someone else is driving you home. The Jade USED to be fun. They now have a three drink maximum and is filled with Billerica trash. The fat gross girls who couldn't hang out in a real bar go here so they won't get judged. Lately, the food is either under or over cooked. It's odd because it always hasn't been this way. When I go for Chinese, I enjoy crab ragoons and chicken fingers. This place has the worst out of all the several Chinese places in Billerica (opt for Rick's instead - who is cheaper too!). I do however, enjoy their boneless pork strips on 50/50 shot they are cooked right. There's also one NASTY waitress who usually works the lounge. Don't feel bad if you don't tip her. No one does. Jade Pacific I miss you so. I promise I haven't forgotten about you, you just are so far away from me now : ( Best Chinese food. hands down. Don't come here if you are looking for fresh, healthy, ornate dishes. Come here if you want large reasonably priced portions of greasy delicious Chinese food. Oh and also for their incredibly delicious, boozy, cheap drinks. I recommend the Mai tai. Waitstaff is friendly and while they barely speak English, they will get your order correct and if you start coming now and again, will remember your name and your usual order. Local regulars at the bar all the time including the "Santa Claus" guy that after a few too many Mai tais and a few too many years of going there, I thought I should introduce myself to since he was ALWAYS there. I used to come here and sit in the lounge with a group of friends for nights out or food and drinks before heading into Boston. I used to go there frequently with an ex. We'd sit in the bar and down scorpion bowls,which were generous with alcohol. Sometimes we'd do crab rangoons, but usually we just drank and watched sports. After we split up, I stopped going there mostly out of fear I'd run into him. I finally mustered up the courage to go in with a friend, and we chose the restaurant side and ordered meals, but no alcohol. It was pretty bad food. The crispy chicken is my favorite dish. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants around as far as the food is concerned. if your heading there for drinks, bring a DD as they are STRONG! Old school chinese restaurant...Looks like a big bar crowd but also does a big takeout and dine in business. Exterior is nothing to write home about... Food was fair. Appetizers were really greasy especially the battered items like chicken fingers and fried shrimp. Safe bet place but don't expect to be "Wow" with the food or service. read more

Jade has delicious food, I've never been into the restaurant and always opted for delivery. Delivery is always pretty quick and they were nice enough to bring extra plates , bowls and silverware when I told them I had just moved in. Highly recommend the dumplings! The absolute best dive Chinese food place in Billerica, and anywhere. If you're looking for stir fry, sushi or any kind of real Chinese food don't go here. This place has American Chinese food. I am a huge fan of Tidbit #4. Sometimes the chicken fingers have too much breading, but the beef teriyaki is really good. I highly recommend the white mai-tai. It's not on the menu, but they make it and holyshit it is strong! I've never had more than two, but this is a somewhat recent discovery of mine. Jade Pacific is not the most glamorous establishment. The walls have not been cleaned in ages, the ladies bathroom is always FREEZING cold, and some of the upholstery on the chairs is ripping. The truth of the matter is, their drinks are AMAZING, the waitstaff is wonderful, the food ranges from fresh and excellent to questionable, and the bar is always full of life. Prices are more than reasonable. I have been going to this restaurant for 25 years now. The restaurant side has windows- lots of windows against the wall facing the parking lot. The waiter, Mike, is seriously the best waiter that we have ever met. He always goes above and beyond. I love this restaurant. Try a mai tai- you'll be hooked for life. ;) :) read more

This is the restaurant you want to go to if you want burnt lo mein and terrible treatment. They allow you into the bar and limit your drinks based on your appearance and age. I have come in completely sober and have been turned away for being "too drunk." I have also witnessed them serving me one drink, stating it is last call, and continuing to serve people after I have been told I am no longer able to purchase drinks. I've never left a yelp review before but tonight is a first for me I walked into the Jade Pacific restaurant in Billerica at around 11:30 PM I was bowling in my regular league and decided to stop in to the restaurant and order one mai tai and some food with my father and my two cousins. I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a child with my grandparents my uncle that travels here from Florida and other family members. I've never felt so offended in any of my restaurant experiences including all of my Chinese food restaurant experiences, and I am an avid restaurant goer. When I walked into the restaurant I was told that I wouldn't be allowed in and the restaurant was closing. And this was as there were people outside smoking cigarettes and the entire bar area was full. It was completely unnecessary for him to do that we are all over the age of 23 and had proper identification to prove that. So to anyone choosing to go to The Jade Pacific in Billerica Massachusetts please invest your money in an average Chinese food restaurant somewhere else close by. I promised the person that I would write a detailed yelp review so this is why I would give zero stars to this restaurant, and will never be attending ever again and will also be telling my family to never attend again. read more

Lunch and dinner specials are beyond huge. Overall, the quality of food is on-par with the best in the area. Their spare ribs and teriyaki are always a crowd favorite. The scallion pancakes are also quite good. Catering prices are beyond compare. Stop by the bar, have a few drinks and soak in the ambiance that only the Jade can offer. I've been coming here for 20+ years. I will know longer be coming here. Since the new ownership took over the prices have gone up as much as 40% on some things and the portions have decreased by 15- 20%. I spoke to the manager and she would not let me finish a sentence. The boneless spare ribs where a good size piece of pork, now just a thin strip. The crab rangoon used to be smaller but stuffing had more crab. Now is filled with cream cheese and you can't taste the crab. The beef teriyaki used to be a large piece of beef with a light sauce and now are only half the size. The lunch specials used to be available on weekends and now they are not. The manager tried to tell me that the other restraints don't offer there lunch specials on the weekends. I pointed out that the other places offered buffets. I also added asked if she wanted to be like all the Asian resteraunts or do you want to stand apart? Got no response. read more

Alabama (where I live) has avery limited choice for Chinese food. I grew up in Billerica (about half a mile from the Jade) and they make the Chinese food I remember. Whenever I'm up that way, My Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Friends always have to make at least one trip to the Jade. The prices are good the staff are attentive and the portions are gargantuan. The last time we went, we had 18 people, the bar bill was $100 and the food was $200, that's just over $20 a person for food and we had to carry two grocery bags of leftovers with us. I've been going here since I was very little, and I've seen they have awesome service, great food, and great prices. After prom, me and my friends went, and they were still open! It's just an awesome place to eat. The lunch specials are outrageously cheap, as well. It does get pretty loud on Friday nights though in the bar area (its segregated from the dining area), but what place wouldn't be like that? This place is also good for seating groups, no matter what time of day. read more

Run! If you eat here you're crazy! Unless you are just drunk! As you drive by this place, you can see the kitchen door, all scummy looking and filthy from the street. The cooks stand out and smoke. I'm sure never washing hands! They drag trash out, clean chickens outside of door in the street. I ate in there once and the ladies restroom toilet was overflowing. I told host. He told guy in kitchen (I'm sure was a COOK!) who walked out of kitchen with a dirty plunger! Omg! Disgusting and unsanitary. Plunger not bagged up to and from restroom AND brought back to kitchen. This has to be a health code violation! If they do that in FRONT of you, what do they do when you're not looking? It is the grimiest looking place ever! Run! Food mediocre at best. I'd rate this place no stars if I could. The quality of the food served here could be compared to old ratty gym sneakers. The pork strips are dry and flavorless. Great place!! As far as Chinese / Asian food goes here, this place is top notch. Not to mention, it has Asian American as well as straight out authentic Chinese food. All the food I've ever had here is delicious. I definitely recommend the rangoons. They are chock full of crab ( /Alaskan pollock..) which is a pleasant and to die for surprise. As for the service, it is always great and the waiters are fantastic and friendly which you don't often find in Asian restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more
