The woman who answered was very rude and told me that I keep getting pushed back because my order isn't important due to the fact that I only spent $28 and didn't order in. Horrible service! This is my favorite chinese restaurant in Everett! Great food and when I get it delivered they are always on time and the food is never cold. When I can I go eat there cause sue makes really good drinks that aren't watered-down or overpriced. Sue is owner and bartender. She is the only bartender so drinks are always good. We ordered egg flower soup, Kung pao tofu, deep fried shrimp, general tso's chicken and vegetable fried rice. We were told 45 minutes, which I found to be more than reasonable since I'm asking them to cook me something not on the menu! OUR FOOD WAS AT MY DOOR IN 15 MINUTES! It arrived PIPING HOT! And EXACTLY what we ordered! I was so impressed I was pointing out the excellent service to the delivery driver and his "defense" was that I live close to the restaurant (about 5 miles). Second time i've had them deliver. My normal staples of cashew chicken and beef broccoli. the first time the cashew chicken was amazing... this time not so much. Mostly vegetables, like 5 cashews, and no chicken to speak of. The Beef broccoli was decent, if not a little fishy tasting, but that just may be the mushrooms they put in it. Horrible. Some of the worst Chinese I've had in years. I ordered the Cantonese combo for 2 and substituted pork chow mein for the chicken chow mein. What I did not like: 1. The chow mein was not chow mein...rather it was lo mein. And even then, it was a stretch. A whole bunch of very greasy noodles with very little pork or vegi's. It was basically a box of spaghetti flavored with soy sauce. 2. Almond fried chicken was simply the same chicken they would use for sweet and sour...but with a side of sauce/gravy that looked more like banana pudding...no flavor. I know that almond fried chicken is not 'authentic' Chinese, but it's one of my favorite dishes, and in this case it was horrible. Good restaurants that prepare this dish usually use a whole chicken breast with a special breading and slice it horizontally. 3. Sweet and sour sauce was gross. In addition, they did not give me any paper plates with my to go order...even though I asked. The only decent thing was the fried rice, but even it was incredibly greasy. We've ordered from Jade Garden twice now. The first time they missed something in the order, but it was something small, so we decided to give them another try. That may have been a mistake. The second time we ordered from them the delivery driver got into an argument with my husband. I ordered the food and my husband thought I'd left a tip when I called, so he put a 0 on the receipt. Apparently that isn't ok because the feisty delivery driver started pointing and arguing with my husband; telling him he better give him a tip. This went on until my husband told him to leave. So, I called JG and the "boss" said '"sorry, he does this all the time. I'll tell my husband and he will be fired." I don't want him fired (which I told her) but BEWARE: if you don't tip...the delivery driver lets ya have it! As for the food...it's not too bad (very salty, but it is Chinese food). We mostly liked the Hot and Sour soup. It is pretty expensive compared to others in the area-for three adults and a child it was 55.00. read more

I placed an order for delivery through Grub Hub and had a pretty good experience. Ordered: Orange chicken lunch combo with the egg drop soup and fried rice. STRENGTHS: One of the only places offering delivery at 9:30 PM. The delivery was very fast (arrived before the estimated time) and the staff friendly. The online ordering process was easy and the menu was simple. The hot and sour soup was delicious and the BBQ pork with hot mustard was pretty good. The sauce for the almond chicken was very good. I expected it to be thin, but was pleasantly surprised that it was thick like gravy. Very good. The quantity of food was also amazing for the cost! THINGS THAT COULD BE BETTER: The meat dishes were average. There was a LOT of breading on the chicken compared to the amount of meat inside. The egg rolls were also a bit disappointing as they had nothing in them except oily cabbage. Everything was a bit greasy for my taste and compared to other Chinese food. Delivery charges are based on distance from the restaurant. This could be good (in our case it was free), but I tend to prefer a standard fee. That way you know going in how much it will be. We didn't find out ours was free until checking out. RECOMMENDATION: I may eat here again, especially if I wanted a huge late night Chinese dinner on the spot. I would definitely not say it is the best I've had or even close. I'm pretty sure I've had better versions of some dishes (sweet and sour chicken/egg rolls/fried rice), even from places like Panda Express. So if you want quality Chinese food, maybe not.
