Neither do I have a TV or read Westword, yet for a few moments Lillian graced me with some somber words: "It's the economy, (We guess) We can't stay in business past these 3 years!! Duck confit was executed perfectly, Crispy exterior but still fall off the bone and then they did this chili crisp sauce that made it work like an asian twist on a l'orange sauce youd typically get with the duck. Staff and chef were amazing and even gave us some other Denver recs which checked out as well. My biggest disappointment in this restaurant was the actual food. We ordered the omelette and requested no goat cheese. It came out, soggy with plenty of goat cheese in it. Also ordered the eggs Benedict Florentine requesting hard poached eggs. They were more runny than a typical Benedict. Both dishes were replaced with apologies but none of the food was anywhere above mediocre in taste. It's a pricey joint-I'm happy to pay the price if the food service and overall experience is good.
