First time dining at Jackson's Corner and it was a very nice experience. The four of us ordered different things as the menu has something for everyone. My vodka sauce noodles and spring pea soup were a perfect pairing. The flavors were delicious. My hubby chose a sausage and cheese pizza and he said it was full of flavor, especially with the Parmesan cheese throughout. Nice crust too. Sauce had a kick to it! And my son and gf split a burrata cheese and prosciutto pizza. The arugula and mint greens topping were fresh and delicious too. Service from Tammy at the register was kind and friendly, as was the staff that delivered and checked on us. The place was bustling for dinner but a calm vibe overall and it was worth the wait in line to order and then find a table. It's a comfy place to get great food and enjoy each other's company while having a quality dinner.

Jackson's corner is a fun bakery in bend serving fresh baked bread and great coffee. We came on a Sunday morning and saw the place packed! I ordered a breakfast burrito and was full after the finishing it! The portions are large and definitely hearty.

I love breakfast and Jackson's Corner is a great restaurant to experience one. I appreciate their vast, but selective menu, and all the different beverages they have. This place gets packed during peak hours but the waiting is worth it. Be patient. Ps: The cinnamon roll is to die for!

Review: Jackson's Corner (Bend, OR) This review is based on two visits: one for brunch and one for lunch. Each visit was with one other person. The space is bright, open, and clean. The staff is friendly. That said, on both visits, the person taking our order seemed a bit unsure or confused. The restaurant was busy each time, with a line for ordering, but the line moved fairly quickly. Our food arrived after a reasonably short wait on both occasions. However, each visit included errors in food preparation, with items not prepared as ordered. Additionally, given the relatively high pricing, the portion sizes were disappointingly small. In general, the food was made with fresh ingredients and while not spectacular, it was relatively tasty. But, for a restaurant of this kind to serve bagged chips is a little underwhelming. Plus, plating and presentation was basic. I had high hopes for Jackson's Corner as a potential go-to spot in Bend. For many locals and tourists, it seems to be just that. Unfortunately, the consistent order mistakes and poor value in terms of portion size mean I will not be returning. It simply does not add up to a place I would frequent.

Went for a Monday evening dinner with one of the main reasons being they were open until 9 while the majority of other nearby places closed by 8. It's counter service for ordering and they bring it to your table when ready. Staff was friendly and have a good selection for every meal of the day it seems. I had the lamb skewers which the lamb was a tad overcooked for my preference but everything else on the dish made up for it being incredibly tasty and hitting the spot.

Ordered pick up for dinner and got Rigatoni alla vodka - 3/5 good texture on the noodles, not too al dente, and the sauce was good. My only complaint was I wish there was more sauce. The sauce is amazing, but because there wasn't enough of it some bites was too...doughy/pasty? Fusili - 4/5 - the mushrooms and sauce were great on this dish. The grilled chicken felt super out of place. If they had this dish w/o the chicken no one would notice anything missing. It was like they just threw a grilled chicken and added $6 to this dish. I would 10/10 order this again if it was $20 w/o chicken. Meatballs 3/5 - solid meatballs - nothing crazy. Tiramisu - 4/5 my wife really enjoyed this, personally i wasn't a huge fan but it is one of the better tiramisu's i've had. It is definitely coffee soaked.

Great food and great ambiance! You can come here for brunch, lunch, or dinner and be very satisfied. We tried the Thai salad with chicken and the steak sandwich, which we highly recommend! My only complaint was that there were only two small pieces of chicken on the salad; it felt like they really scrimped! But the portion sizes were big overall. It can get crowded so be prepared to share a table or wait for seating during the brunch rush. Will come again!

Cute little house turned restaurant in a neighborhood! I thought my gps was wrong and almost missed it! I got the eggs Benedict from the seasonal menu subbed with a slice of gluten free toast. Call me a child but I thought way too much of the plate was salad and also each salad piece was a full 4-6 inch leaf so eating this on a date was really awkward hahaha (just warning anyone else who may be coming here to meet a new person). The potatoes were a little over salted. BUT the eggs Benedict itself was quite good. Loved the hollandaise, eggs were cooked nicely, and I liked the gf toast as well.

Stopped in for some brunch! This was my first time in. Vibe was casual and bustling! I met up with my cousin and her husband around 10am on a Sunday, so I was expecting it to be pretty busy! Wait time was about 10ish minutes. There were about 10 people in front of us, but it moved pretty quick. Seating was few and far hahaha there are some smaller tables, and then some really giant ones that look like they would seat 8ppl. We had 5 in our group, so we had to ask to sit at the opposite end of their giant square tables. What I ordered- Steak sandwich, carrot cake with lemon icing, and sourdough cinnamon roll. The steak was well seasoned, and the sandwich was very tasty! The carrot cake was SO good, and the cinnamon roll was also good, but wasn't very ooey gooey and soft. It was a little more firm, but still tasty! The coffee was ok! Overall I would say I liked this spot! I'd deff try some of their other items. If you're in the area and in need of a brunch spot, I'd recommend!

Overall, a lovely experience! I came here with a party of 10 which was definitely pushing it for this restaurant, but we made it work! Food (4.5/5): I loved the variety of options on the menu and option for vegetarian eaters. The attached cafe also allows for yummy coffee options for your meal! I got the biscuits and gravy (the small size) and it was plenty of food for me. The biscuit was crispy and the gravy was well seasoned. My partner got the breakfast burrito with bacon and he demolished it. My friends got some of the egg plates and they enjoyed it a lot! I'd also highly recommend the donuts. Service (4/5): The employees were efficient and helpful! I wouldn't say they were overly nice, but that's fine. Ambiance (5/5): There were a lot of different sized tables and the decor was so cute. Felt very homey and clean. I liked the beer fridge wall and the family style tables. Parking could get tricky if you're going at a busy time, but you should be able to find a spot on the residential street.

Came here on a Sunday morning and we waited for over an hour in line standing just to order our food, but the food was worth the wait.

    Candace T.

We got the steak sandwich and breakfast burrito. I would rate both of them as a 3/5 since both were pretty bland (I would have loved to see some kind of chipotle sauce with the breakfast burrito). $15 for a breakfast burrito seems pretty steep. Altogether, it was good but nothing to write home about.

    Beautiful and welcome spot!

Absolutely delicious. Great service with fantastic coffee and delicious chai. Breakfast was loaded with fresh local ingredients. Thankful for the recommendation to hit up this spot for breakfast to kick off the day. Welcoming space inside and out!

Bend, Oregon April 2026…read more This dining room has one large booth with three tables for larger parties and four other tables with chairs. The hostess is extremely friendly. We came here on a Monday night and they told us that the bone in wings were $.50 a piece so we ordered seven wings for $3.50 and they normally are $13. Good deal. Great deal if they taste good. We also ordered a large Regina margarita pizza for $23. We are eating in and nobody else is. Most people are coming by to carry out. The pizza came so quickly. It took all of seven minutes from ordering to serve us the pizza. The pizza was cooked and then they threw the cherry tomatoes on after it had cooked. So they were like biting into a cold tomato on top of my pizza. I thought the pizza tasted salty. The crust was very thick and soft around the edges. The cheese never pulled on the pizza. It was like it was pre-made and then thrown into the oven. The crust of the pizza is very chewy and soft. The wings were presented in a beautiful way. Sliced celery and carrots accompanied the dish. The wings were large. The barbecue sauce had a very smoky taste to it. The wings were tough to chew. The sauce was way too heavy. It was sitting and dripping with sauce. Not really the way I like my chicken wings. Not sure what the draw is to this pizzeria. It sits next to a Latin cuisine that was closed the evening we came. It is also attached to the end of a very large building that is empty and unoccupied. I had high hopes for this pizzeria joint. However, other than the super friendly girl that took our order, everything else was a big disappointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Awesome that you can do many different sides including regular fries, Cajun fries, salad, chips, and more options... do wish they had onion rings however. I got the hummus plate which was good but not the best I've had. It came with a baguette which was more like garlic bread so I would have, personally, liked pita more. It also had a few olives on the side with a red pepper type sauce. I got it with no pickled onions. They had a great beer selection and even a few tasty non-alcoholic beers. Also had kombucha on tap which was delicious (from Humm). Everyone working was super sweet and the vibes were relaxed and casual. Our food came out quick and exactly how we ordered it. They also seemed to have spaces for larger parties, too. They also have a little gift shop if you wanted to pick anything from shirts, to bottle openers, to beer candles and more! Fortunately I've learned that sometimes friends are wrong and Yelp is right. First challenge is parking. It's on a busy street and there's basically none. But if you can survive the rugged wilderness trek of... about one block... you'll be just fine. Once inside the place is clean, roomy, and has that perfect cozy old school pizza joint vibe. The kind of place where the smell alone makes you instantly hungry. The lady behind the counter was tossing pizza dough like she's been doing it since the Reagan administration. Always a good sign. The beer was cold, the salad bar is gloriously old school (which I love), and the service was excellent from the moment we walked in. Now let's talk pizza. This is not one of those sad flat crunchy pizzas with three lonely toppings scattered around like they're rationing pepperoni during wartime. This pizza is crunchy, cheesy, and loaded the way pizza should be. If you believe toppings belong on pizza instead of being used sparingly like museum artifacts, this place gets it right. The guy behind the bar called me by name all night which caught me off guard. I finally asked if he owned the place and he said no. If that's just an employee treating the place like it's his own, that says a lot about the culture there. Great service, great pizza, cold beer, and a place that actually feels like a pizza joint. We'll definitely be back. My friends who told me it wasn't good are no longer allowed to recommend restaurants.

The total came to $26.95 all in (pizza, driver tip, etc) for a 12-inch pizza. The pizza arrived cool, bordering on cold, which was disappointing. That said, it was packed with care and clearly made with attention to detail. Another interesting point is that the pizza was not sliced. Luckily, my kitchen is armed with a pizza slicer. The pizza itself was well executed. Thin crust, quality ingredients, and good flavor throughout. The pepperoni was nicely rendered and the overall balance worked. While the pizza was tasty and thoughtfully made, the price point for delivery makes it hard to call this a go to option. We, having moved less than a year ago from Detroit, are always glad to see the style really spread through the US. Asking the couple where they got the pizza from, they pointed us to the next block where Abe Capanna's food cart is located. Of course, at that point, we had already ordered enough food to eat, so we relegated this place to the next day. Pouring rain, flooded roads, and power outages awaited our second day in Bend and the thought of Detroit style pizza was the only thing giving us respite. We arrived later in the evening than we liked due to the torrential downpour and were quoted a 30 minute wait. It ended up taking 31, so they seem to be pretty good at estimating (and that's also a pretty appropriate wait time for a quality Detroit-style pizza in the first place)! Taken from another of my reviews: there are several characteristics that define Detroit-style. Firstly, a focaccia dough-like crust, airy and chewy on the interior and with a crispness on the bottom and sides that's somewhat greasy but not overladen*. There must be flavorful Wisconsin brick cheese, buttery and tangy, melted on top and spread until it spills over the sides of the crust, creating a crisp caramelized cheese ring surrounding the pie. The pepperoni must be underneath the cheese**, and the flavorful tomato sauce, typically a large spoonful in two or three wide lines, is spread on top of the cheese. The crust must remain crisp without becoming soggy with moisture and there must not be too many toppings to prevent the crust from compressing and ruining the texture. *Note 1: The fat/grease is very important, both to allow the crust to crisp up and to act as a hydrophobic layer to prevent sogginess. **Note 2: This is the one trait I dislike about traditional Detroit-style, since it makes the pepperoni limp and soaked with grease. Any place that moves the pepperoni to the top is okay in my book. 8-Square Cheese Pizza w/ Pepperoni ($30) - As a mostly traditionalist, I always have to start with the classic pepperoni pizza. The pizza Abe Capanna's puts out is kind of strange in terms of shape. The dough doesn't quite stretch to the corners so the edges are rounded, but since they use a rectangular pan, some of the cheese crust, wonderfully salty and crisp, makes it to the corners. The pizza as a whole isn't quite rectangular and is instead more oblong The dough is fried very nicely to a consistent dark golden brown color, giving a great crisp texture with every bite and allowing enough grease to soak into the crust to prevent any watery moisture buildup. I think the dough is a little bit on the denser side vs airy, but it's nicely chewy and has well developed air pockets. The toppings start with a thick layer of cheese. I believe they use low moisture mozzarella, giving the pizza a mild taste with a very subtle tanginess and no fresh milkiness. A lot of places use brick cheese/mozzarella blends or just plain mozz nowadays, especially since it's more difficult to source the cheese the further a restaurant is away from Wisconsin. I'm actually okay with that for the most part. There's certainly not as much flavor in the cheese, but places have to make do with the ingredients they can obtain. The pepperoni is placed on top of the cheese and is baked until cupping upwards and crisped up. Tomato sauce is ladled on top, not entirely in a line, but rather dolloped on each slice. The sauce isn't a super fresh one, so its main characteristic is saltiness rather than any flavorful tomato acidity to help cut through some of the grease. the sauce is by far the weakest part of the pizza*. Between the cheese, pepperoni, and sauce, the pie is pretty well balanced with there being an appropriate amount of toppings to not overload the crust. While there are some weaknesses, I thought this was an excellent pizza, although not necessarily the most traditional Detroit-style. (4.5/5) Okay, so a couple of the reviews give Abe Capanna's a low rating because the reviewers complain that they don't serve a legitimate Detroit-style pizza. I tend to agree, given the major departures in shape and the cheese being used. Still, I think this is a delicious pizza, whether it's actually Detroit-style or not. Let's just call it a Bend-style interpretation of Detroit-style, if that makes everyone happier! *We had a couple of slices leftover and eating it the next day, the sauce actually becomes much more flavorful. Very interesting! If only it had tasted like that the first day! Note: Abe Capanna's charges a 3% credit card fee
