I received assistance right away from one of the managers (Josh) with locating specific tools to cut the crown molding, as well as a specialty electric nail gun (not the one that utilizes an air compressor). His assistance made all the difference in the world, as I didn't have to return any merchandise nor make a second trip to NRH to obtain more tools and materials. The older lady with glasses at cash register (she usually answers the phone) was outstanding in her customer service demeanor, both on my initial visit and a later visit for a different at-home project. She definitely seems to know what she is talking about in terms of available inventory, and correct materials to use when posing a specific question. Further, the coupons offered by the store via internet promotion (sometimes daily or bi-weekly) turned out to significantly help on price reduction. Due to this alone, I highly recommend signing up for Harbor's reward program- it certainly pays an almost immediate return.

I told her that I have a medical exemption and she said they don't recognize any exemptions and to leave. This could have been handled without such a degree of rudeness. This employee has insured that I will never shop in that store again. You can't go around violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

It was during the memorial day sales, so I started pricing different units. I found the one I liked (that was in my budget) and started to order it...but a friend told me to check out Lowe's and their sale. So I did. And I discovered they had the same unit. And once I added the installation fee, they were $200 less expensive than the other businesses. I even called the other businesses to double-check the model number. Yep....same size weight model color....same. So I ordered it from Lowe's. In the past id had trouble with Lowes installation company - not responsive, messy, late, missing parts, etc. But I'd decided I was going to stay on top of the I stallation crew and make sure all went smoothly. Well, guess what. Lowes in Hurst has a new installation contract company and they are AWESOME. They set an appointment with me with a 2 hour window. They showed up on the dot of the beginning of the time window. They were friendly. They were clean. They had all of their tools. They explained the new microwave to me and showed me how it works. They did everything expected of a great installation. They also hauled out the old convection microwave, and cleaned up. Yes! Cleaned up! And took away the trash! 5 stars for this entire experience plus my microwave is pretty dang cool (especially with my money savings!)
