Well... the website says they'll price match. I showed Nic the price for in store purchase in Walmart. The item was in stock and available. Nic goes and talks to the manager. The manager says they won't price match Walmart. I had to leave out of principle. I was about to spend around $100 too. That's too bad. I really liked this place too. Welp... Unfortunately, no one knows typically knows when their car battery is going to die. Mine chose to do so before a 12-hour shift. My husband was home to jump me, and I got to work okay. However, I checked mid-shift and it was dead again. My husband met me after work to jump me again and follow me to O'Reilly's. I was thrilled to see they were opened until 10pm - especially when I had another 12 hour shift the following day. The purchase process was simple...however, when we asked for them to install it (which is advertised that they do), the response was "In the dark?" This should have been our clue to stop the employee from going any further. After 40 minutes of fumbling with random tools that the employee kept grabbing from his personal vehicle, we were told that the battery that has to be dealer installed. My vehicle is a 2017 Jeep - so I don't believe it...but even if that were true. Why weren't we informed at purchase? We got our money back, but my Jeep needed jumped AGAIN to get home. It took awhile to get it started, and I thought I was going to have to leave it to be towed. When it was finally startedand we could leave this miserable experience behind, the uninformed employee said "maybe it's the alternator?" We will never go to another O'Reilly's after this experience. If your night staff doesn't know how to install batteries, just TELL the customers. We wasted an hour and added to an already very long day. read more

Stumbled across this O'Reilly's location while following my GPS to another auto supply store. Was promptly greeted when I walked in. I explained that I was looking for some fuel stabilizer since my car was going to be in storage for a few months. The employee immediately took me over to the products, asked a couple of questions (how much gas was already in the car etc) and got me some Sta-bil, all while explaining to me how it works, how much to put in etc. Directions are also all on the bottle. Coincidentally, when I researched online for long term car storage a couple weeks ago, Sta-bil was the recommended product; so I knew a little about it already and I know the sales associate knew what he was talking about. Register transaction was quick and easy, service was pleasant, and five minutes later my Sta-bil was in the car and I was on my way. read more

This the absolute WORST store I've ever been to! I read another review on Google about 9 months ago where the same guy, Timothy, is named as being a complete and total dick. HOW IS HE STILL WORKING THERE? I had the starter in my truck replaced by an automotive shop in McKinney, TX around 4 years ago. Lately, my starter has been acting up so since I currently live in Grapevine, TX which is about a 30 mile drive from the shop, I decided to replace the starter myself. Knowing the shop used O'Reilly Auto Parts as their major parts supplier, I took my old starter to the O'Reilly Auto Parts store at 303 S. Park Blvd. Having a commercial account there myself, I went to the commercial desk in the back of the store to find nobody there. I walked to the front desk and found a couple of guys sitting at the front desk and one guy walking out of the store. I asked for the commercial guy and the guy walking out stopped and said "I am the commercial guy." "I was just going out to work on my car but I'll help you out" he says. I thought to myself that it was an awkward thing to say since he's supposed to be helping customers and not working on his car on company time but whatever. We went to the back desk and I explained to him that I need to replace this starter which has a lifetime warranty for a new one. I showed him the old starter and he said "wow, what grease pit did you get this off of ?" I didn't need to hear his smart assed remark. He confirmed it was an O'Reilly starter by SMUGLY saying "yes that is my starter, let me look up a new starter." He, then, asked what account it was purchased under to which I gave him the name of the shop in McKinney. Then, he asked if I had the receipt to which I replied no and he pretty much shut me down at that point. He said "This doesn't fall under our warranty guidelines" and I had to argue that by saying I have had an alternator and a fan clutch that were both warranty replacements through O'Reilly in Carrollton, TX and one at this Grapevine store with no problems what so ever. He said "then either go back to McKinney or to Carrollton because I'm not replacing this." I started getting pissed. I told him that I shouldn't have to do that and I asked if there was anybody here that could help me to which he replied "no." I then dialed the customer service number to see if there could be a moderator between this rude young man and I and they were gone for the day as it was already 4:30 in the afternoon. I told him I wasn't paying twice for this starter and he ASKED ME TO LEAVE THE STORE! I told him I would as soon as I got his name to which he SMUGLY replied "I DON'T REMEMBER." So, I leaned forward slightly to see the name on his shirt. I HAD TO STAY A LITTLE MORE DISTANCED FROM HIM THAN NORMAL BECAUSE HE NEVER HAD A FACIAL COVERING MASK ON THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE INTERACTING! Before I left, I pointed out that he hasn't had his mask on the whole time and was NOT practicing safe interaction. The name on his shirt said "Assistant Mgr" "Timothy." I asked him if Timothy was his name and he said "I AM WEARING SOMEBODY ELSE'S SHIRT." What a fucking JERK! I left, trembling with anger swearing to never set foot in that store again as well as switching my auto parts needs to any company but O'Reilly. I then drove 18 miles to the Carrollton where I used to buy parts from before moving to Grapevine and another guy named Timothy, coincidentally, helped me out with a smile. Five minutes later, I am walking out with my new starter and a few other things ready to get my truck running again. I am currently looking to forward this to the CEO of this company. I feel if one of my employees are handling/treating my customers this way, I would want to know about this right away to correct the situation. There are too many ways to buy auto parts these days without having to put up with crap like this! read more

I don't know much about cars, which is why I love this O'Reilly location. The staff is very helpful. When I walk in the door I like to pretend like I know what I am doing, but I never do. After a couple laps around the store I always have to ask for help. The staff always takes the time to figure out what exactly it is I am talking about, double check I am getting what I need, and if they can fix it for me in the parking lot, they will. On my last visit I came in because someone told me I needed transmission fluid. Armed with my owners manual, I entered the store. After failing to locate the kind of fluid my owner's manual told me was essential to making sure my car does not explode, I had to ask for help. So many questions followed, including "how much fluid do you need?" Of course I had no idea. The person helping me grabbed a couple bottles of fluid, went with me out to my car, checked the dipstick and added the fluid for me. If that customer service does not deserve five stars I do not know what does. read more

We had corroded terminal connectors on my battery and he made it quick and easy in the time we had. Told us what we needed without skipping a beat. I had a part that was shipped to home. It was broken in the box. Took it to O'Reillys to see if they would swap it out and they refused and said I was trying to get a free part out of them. Showed them the damaged box and everything. Some fat white guy. Go to Napa down the street. read more

I don't know enough about cars and always dread going to the auto part store when I need anything but this place has always been top notch in helping me get what I need. guys in this store have always been helpful EXCEPT in my recent contact. I found the part I need on the Oreilly web site but it said "call store for pricing and availability". First the counter man couldn't find it (interestingly enough he said they don't have access to the web site). He finally found it but couldn't give me price or availability - promised to call me back. Two days later, no call back. I called the "customer satisfaction" number on the website - waited 15 min for an "agent" and gave up. Called corporate number on the website, got a lady who said my only option was to call back the customer satisfaction number at another time. WOW!
