I drove in prior spoke with Jason. Rashad waited on me & they will rotate the wheels & repair right front tire (free of charge!) . Yap, & otw in there was a line of cars for air done by techs. Clean lot, shop & front waiting g room very clean including the restroom. Super nice & very customer service as for all staff! I'm loving this place!!! So, within @20 mins, a tech pulled in our Tahoe. & by about 15 mins, another tech approached me & informed me of an additional 5-7 mins my Tahoe. I was done & all free of charge! Absolutely love this location and the customer service here. Every time I come this place is super clean, the staff very professional and never trys to sell you things you simply do not need. Closed on Sunday's, the lords day which is great. There is a free air here, just drive in the line and there will be someone to check all 4 tires, air and and send you on your way. They have tires at all price points, make an appointment online or just walk-in. Good to get the insurance on the tires if you get a new set, this has saved me a time or too! read more

I came to this location to repair a tire that was going flat. Before even removing the tire, they suggested that it couldn't be fixed. Anyway, they removed the tire and kept it overnight. When we went to pick it up, they said it had a screw in it and that it couldn't be fixed and that we'd need a new tire that cost $191. I decided not to pay that much and to the tire to Tire Store Service Center to get a second opinion. I waited there 20 minutes and the tire was repaired for $20. Discount Tires seems to be all about making money and not looking out for their customers. They not only wanted to sell us a new tire that we didn't need, they also tried to upsell warranty and things that we just did not need. This is dishonest and deceptive. They'll never see me again read more

Purchased Tires and the Warranty from Discount Tires. The set up for complimentary air was descriptive like all of the Discount Tire locations. This store did not recognize me for 10 minutes. They appeared busy but avoided looking at me. Great customer service would have acknowledged and indicated we're busy but someone will help you soon. This was the worst experience. So many great experiences elsewhere with this company. I was in the front and the car behind me left. So many other Discount Tire locations have better customers service skills. I have been a Discount Tire customer for years. They have always met my expectations until today. They couldn't get anything right. I went in for a leak in one of my tires, and when the salesperson looked at my tire, without checking it out for a leak , told me I needed a new tire. Mind you there was only 7000 miles on the tire, and he said they couldn't repair it because of a bolt in the edge of the tire. Well I said go ahead and replace the tire. I gave him my information and it was like I had never been there before. He told me that they may need to order a tire, and I said fine, but please call me to let me know what you can do and left the car with him. No return call, no text. I called back to see the status of my car and after waiting quite sometime, they came back on the phone to tell me that they would have to order a tire. I asked it they could just keep the car overnight and install the tire when they get it in the next day. They said no problem. Next day rolls around and no call or text. Finally I just called them back and was told my car was just about to go into the shop. After I picked up the car I looked at the receipt and the paperwork said that they put the tire on another car that I own. I don't know what is happening to Discount Tire, but this was completely unacceptable. read more

I had this location replace the tires that were on my vehicle. When I dropped the wheels off for the tires to be replaced I had given them specifics on tire pressure and what type of weights to be used, being I have coated alloy wheels and the clip on weights will scratch, pit and ruin that type of wheel. Upon getting back to my garage I had noticed that the stick on weights were removed, the sticker residue not cleaned, non coated clip on weights were on all the tires, and that they were filled 9 psi heavier than I asked them to be. I will be returning to this location on Monday to have these clips removed and if there is any mark or scratch I will be filing a complaint for the wheels to be replaced. What good is making notes on the order when you don't follow them. read more

This place is always SO busy. But they always do their best to get you in and taken care of quickly. I never feel pressured into unnecessary purchases which is always nice. I bought the Certificate for Repair, replacements or refund when I first bought my car that already had new tires on it and man, it has come in handy. It is a MUST for anyone to purchase. Waited 10 minutes, they weren't busy as they had a couple guys standing around on their phone. I ended up having to leave so that I could make it back to work on time. My experience today at the Grapevine location was not only eye opening with the management, but the company as well. Extremely rude employees and a manager who didn't have a clue as to what customer service is about !! I was told that it would take 45 minutes to an hour to look at the tire I had brought in... not fix it, just to look at it !! When I asked why it'd take so long I was rudely told that they were busy. I asked to speak with the manager and he said that they had 6 customers ahead of me. Fine ; but what are those 5 guys who standing around doing that they can't air up my tire...?? We have been to this location many times, definitely qualify as repeat customers. This most recent visit was with Cody, as I got a flat tire from running over some wood apparently. I let him know we had purchased the last set through them and it wasn't too long ago. He looked us up and advised the tread was super low for only having the tires for a little over a year and credited us back 65% per tire to put toward new tires. He recommended a little higher quality tire, this vehicle is mostly driven to work and gave a rebate for me to fill out to help toward installation costs. That's great service. Gave me an eta so I went home and csme back to pick up. I've been very happy with the service here. Regarding rotations, just know it is a busy facility so if you are expecting a quick in and out, likely not going to happen. They must only hire the best of the best because each and every person who we have worked with there is knowledgeable, kind, has great communication skills, and a pleasure to work with. What's not to like about Discount Tire? There are very few businesses (and I mean VERY few) that I am fiercely loyal to, and this is one of them. Their service is just incredible, and there are locations everywhere around the Metroplex. My visit today was for new tires, and even though my old tires had almost 60,000 miles, they were eligible for a pro-rated credit of $10 per tire, knocking $40 off of my bill. I had called ahead and set everything up, and when I got there, I basically handed them the keys, paid up front, grabbed a complementary bottle of water and started working on my laptop. I hardly got into work before the tech came in with my keys and said I was good to go. I've also had a great history with them; they'll rotate your tires for free (which is fairly standard, admittedly), but I've also had them balance my tires for free on a few occasions, something they could easily charge for. The employees are friendly, the shops are clean and they'll even pricematch almost any other company. When you're looking for tires, Discount Tire is, in my opinion, truly as good as it gets. read more

I continue to be impressed with the quality of service from Discount Tire Store. I have been using DTS for many years, mostly the store on 377 in Keller, TX. Today (2/19/2018) my wife called me, on her way to work, that the low tire pressure light came on in her car, with an URGENT message to check the tires NOW! My first thought was to get her to the first place she could, and a DTS was less than a quarter mile from where she was. So I sent her there. Too make a long story short, the service we received from Cody & Cliff was fantastic. They even helped me with our roadside assistance, as they (Allstate) required additional information from the shop. It's great that the level of service was so consistent between these to shops, I DTS will always be my first choice (possibly only choice), when it comes to tires. Bottom line: Really great service. They measured them and said, "You don't need tires yet." The tires got to the place where they actually did need to be replaced, so naturally I went back to this store. They helped me get allowance on the tires for not making it to the rated distance and delivered tires at a great price. Even got all four installed in 45 minutes. Wow! I stopped by during my lunch break to get a tire rotation and some air put in my tires here, no big deal I thought. They informed me at the front that it would take an hour or an hour 15 to get it done since there was a line and that wasn't a big problem either. I asked if they could do my rotation and also put air in my tires. After an hour in the waiting room, they let me know that my car was in the bay. I thought it was suppose to be finishing up at this point but I understand how things can get busy and pile up. After an hour and a half they pull up my car and let me know that it's all finished, but when I turned on my car I saw that all the lights were still on for my tire levels being too low. So now after work I have to make another trip and get some air blown in them. Not a huge disappointment, but after already being late coming back to work, I would've been fine with it if I at least got everything done. read more

I dropped my truck off to get a nail fixed, got my truck back with my wheel being covered in black sludge and tire lube all over it which isn't a big deal they were busy i could clean it off myself but whenever I got home I heard a weird noise like something was bouncing around come to find out the wheel weights the tech put on it had flown off on my drive home, also realized my air pressure was not checked in the other tires because they were all different i even checked with a manual tire gauge. I agree with another Yelper comments about what Discount Tire use to be. Discount Tire as a whole is just less of company. I worked at store #1 as a teenager back in the good old days! In those early years they had real customer focused sales guys that went above and beyond to make a sale or to help a customer out. I remember customers pulling up after closing time and the sales guy would pull them in to get all 4 new tires. Made me upset at the time cause I wanted to go home, but at the same time I was happy to work for a company that promoted that kind of service. Those days are gone. What prompted my review, and mantra, is I went into the Discount off 114 in Grapevine. The sales guy was nice but really seemed distracted. He literally walked around the parking lot like he was lost. Then circled my car three times studying my tires. Then took his time as he walked through the garage bay looking at stuff. Meanwhile I am of course watching all this wondering what is this guy doing. When he did final walk back in the show room he announced my flat could not be fixed cause my tread was too low. He proceeded to tell me all my tires where needing replacing 2/32 and 3/32. I marvel that the tire manufacturers do not replace tires under the mileage warranty that are not below 3/32 but Discount Tire sales guys say they can't repair the same tire citing safety concerns. Needless to say I thanked him for his comments and left. I drove to CostCo got a happy greeting with a quick evaluation of my tires. Shocker they were 2/32 on the front and 4/32 on the rear. I ended up purchasing 4 new Michelin tires from Costco. read more
