Friendly and great customer service, personable! First time here. And they fixed my flat fast and efficiently. They saved me from having to buy a new tire like the rest of the shops I wanted to. I'll be back, thank you!!

Don't let the outward appearances of the tire place fool you. Hamm's Tire and Wheels is actually one of the more upfront & highly affordable locations that I've come across within the DFW area. With the four vehicles that I've brought here for various tire issues over the years, Hamm's has prices that put NTB & Firestone to shame. Just my experience. Honest, straight-up, and prompt are what I would characterize this location to be. I've been here a few times, and they've always had my car's tire thoroughly inspected for low tire pressure + damage. When it is really busy, my wait time hasn't been over 15 or 20 minutes. Very efficient and quick is something that Hamm's employees pride themselves in. What can I say? Hamm's has been good to me in the wallet, and good to my tires.

Dropped off a tire to be patched at 1:30pm and was told it would be ready in 1-1/2 hours. Stop back by at 4:15pm still 4th in line. Let the guy working the counter know I just need it tonight before they close. No problem we got your number, we will call you when it's ready... No phone call. The Hamm's website shows they are open till 8pm. Drive up here again at 7:30pm. Doors are locked everyone is gone. Had to make another trip up there the next day. This used to be a reliable tire shop.

I take most of my tire work here. Decent, honest people. Fairly priced. Reasonable wait times. Cheap tire patches. Decent new tires. Their balancing machines don't work too well. I get that done at Costo. read more

I have always gone here to Hamm's Tire as early as since I was a kiddo going with my Ma and Pops. I continue to go to Hamm's due to their good pricing, solid work, and customer service... Eduardo situated my tire patch today on my front driver side tire, and even though he barley spoke english, him and I still chopped it up and I told him how i appreciated his work and I liked the patch they did on the tire "Muy Bueno..gracias amigo! " i told him.. Og lit up with a smile and said "de nada".. I also had an encounter with Chris as well and OG can light up a whole room with how effective his communication was with all of his customers, and explained everything in fine detail so his customers can get a bigger perspective on what the workers are doing.. Definition of keeping your clients comfortable! Outstanding guy.. Keep smilin, brothas! Keep yalls heads up and dont allow anyone to stunt your growth read more

I arrived the shop minutes after the shop apparently closed at 4:00 pm, I wouldn't have stopped but all of the bay doors were open and there were customers in the lobby. After waiting in the lobby for someone to assist me, I finally was able to speak to someone who bothered to even look at me for me to ask a question. the employee looked at the clock and stated, sorry we're closed! I explained that my rear tire was loosing air very quickly and would be flat in a matter of minute. again he stated, "can't help you we closed 15 minutes ago. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experience, it's a shame that yelp wouldn't let me leave one star. I will never recommend this establishment. read more

well on a Sunday they are open till 4 pm. I arrived in between 3:15 pm and 3:20 pm just to get told that they are no longer taking any one and at that moment I seen only 4 or 5 people sitting there. and all I needed was 1 tire and with all the employees they have on shift you would think that they would get to working and not just stand around and talk. I'll never ever go back to that place. read more

Wanted to take the time to recommend Hamms tires. When I got off work at 3:30pm Sunday afternoon to an almost flat tire, I saw that they were close and closing soon. I arrived to find a full lobby and feared I would be turned away. I was met with a smile, and promise that they would get it figured out and me on my way. They did just that. I was out of there in 20 minutes, and they had a used tire that got my car, and offered it without me having to even ask. As a woman, I say the only time it sucks to be single is when there's car trouble. Hamms made it easy, affordable and worry free. I can recommend them highly enough. They fix the problem and nothing else. I have gone there probably 4 times for a flat tire and once for new brakes, not a single time have they done the typical upselling car shop BS "oh we noticed you actually need some new filter" or "oh I see you need 4 new tires actually". In fact, I went there to get new brakes due to my cars mileage, they looked at all my brakes and told me I actually only needed 2 brakes because the other 2 were still fine. Hamm's Tire and Wheels! They came through on my wheel being fixed. I have used multiple locations for Discount Tire's for years and only as of recently had issues. The (Camp Bowie location) told me they could fix my wheel by sending it out to be fixed then they told me I needed a new one and that I couldn't have mine fixed so I bought a new one (~$600) this was in February 2023 (with warranty). Then my tire was recently low this last time they told me, "it was too low and I need to check it and come inside". So I did (1000 E Loop 820 location) and then they told me that it's the same wheel and it "needs to be fixed and that the best they could do is sell me a spare as they can't put my wheel and tire back on." So I went with my only option to be mobile immediately and get back to work as I was on my lunch break was to purchase a spare. This was (~$200) They told me that I should use any other company besides "Wheel Technologies" which is who they partner with so this was awkward I didn't understand why I would be sent to go find and use another company than who they partner with they told me their partnered company messed up a few customer's rims. I was thinking maybe if I go back to the Camp Bowie location maybe they could help and I did and they looked at my tire and rim and said, "I'm not seeing anything wrong..." then told me it was my rim and that my "tire inside was shredded" and that "he could help me" (I told him, "Well, that's what you do and I'd expect you to do and you should help everybody.") then I told him I'm getting another opinion as he told me I "need a new wheel (again) and a new tire." So as I was leaving after showing him my warranty thinking they'd fix my wheel and I'd be good he said, "hey I told you I was going to help you. So he told me he would call me and let me know pricing. Then he called and I was quoted $500 something for a new wheel and $100+ for a tire. So I got a second opinion and instead of going to the same place I always have gone to and I got a second opinion at Hamm's and they fixed my wheel $170 and were nice. Thank you so much! read more

So far I'm a fan. After getting some engine work done at another local shop, I was told I needed shocks. Something the other shop does, but I was also told I need an alignment, something the other shop does not do. Hamm's was recommended for the alignment, so I decided to check them out. What I learned is that that will do a complete inspection of the suspension and steering for free. It took about thirty minutes and I received the happy news that the only thing obviously bad were my shocks and that my alignment is a bit out. The quote I received for the shocks was in line with the other shop, and since my alignment is not too bad, I think I'll wait a bit before biting the bullet on this. Bottom line: After hanging around the shop for half an hour I liked what I saw and will definitely keep Hamm's in mind next time I need tires, or when I finally get my front end aligned. It also a good option for used tires, or for getting a flat repaired. read more

Took me four hours to get a set of tires. From 10am until 2pm. At the two hour mark I asked an attendant how was the process going. He was nice to explain why it was taking so long and said no much more wait. At three hours I asked another attendant about the progress, I explained I had been waiting since 10am, he said: "It takes one hour per vehicle to do an alignment. I cannot rush that shit. I can bring your vehicle from the ramp and let you comeback earlier another day." read more

Well I got a nail in my tire .... in a really bad spot. I don't even understand or know how it happened. It was somehow on the front side of tire. It was a Sunday, I wasn't in my home town and this happens to be on the car I just bought 2 weeks ago. Luckily I found Hamm's less than 2 miles away and open on a Sunday. I pulled in they assessed the situation and were honest in telling me that due to the spot they could patch it but it would come off in 2-3 days. They asked about my spare tire and we looked, it's just a donut and only good for about 50 miles. I needed something safe since I was about to drive back to Austin. I ended up purchasing a new tire from them so I could get back on the road quickly. Boy were they quick! I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. Thank you! I figured I would go ahead and get a new set to take advantage of the sale and rebate. Jordan took the time to check all four tires and assured me they were still in good condition--likely good for another two months depending on how I drive. He explained that NTB typically recommends replacement when tread reaches 4/32". Jordan could have easily taken my money, but instead he was honest, patient, and informative. What should have been a quick and routine service turned into an hour-long wait for no good reason. After waiting all that time, one of the employees came back and told me that my engine air filter was missing and that I needed to purchase a new one for $35. This immediately raised a red flag because I had literally just installed a brand-new air filter myself only hours earlier. So how exactly does something that was just installed suddenly become "missing"? That explanation made absolutely no sense. Fast forward to around midnight the same night -- the exact tire they supposedly "changed" was completely flat. I was beyond frustrated. People work hard for their money and their time, and it's unacceptable to have both wasted by careless or dishonest service. Since I had to work the next day, my boyfriend went back to the shop on my behalf to address the issue. Instead of taking responsibility, one of the mechanics responded with the classic dodge: "Not saying we did it and not saying you did it," before claiming the valve stem was broken and that they would replace it. Excuse me? The valve stem was perfectly fine before your shop touched it. Now suddenly there's a broken valve stem the very next day? That is not a coincidence. Of course you're going to fix it -- because your shop is the one that caused the problem. This entire situation reflects incompetence, poor workmanship, and a complete lack of accountability. Customers trust mechanics to handle their vehicles honestly and professionally. When that trust is broken, it deserves to be called out. I will absolutely be sharing this experience and will make it my mission to shut these crooks and this location down because people deserve to know where they are spending their time and hard-earned money. Based on what happened to me, I strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

Taken care of immediately, after I arrived . they completed a tire rotation and balancing in like 15min. A+++ probably made a new customer for good . They also reset the tire mileage tracker, and reset the tire pressure for to the right level for Tesla. No other shop I've been to has done all that . Also great phone service . Finalizing the documentating was completed the same day with a plesant lady named Monica. I was given instructions on completing the documentation and on where to deliver the car (40 miles away) and made an appointment for delivery on 3/11/26. When I arrived there the man who did the intake inspection was nice to work with and he already had the $19,750 check in hand. That took around 20 minutes then they paid for an Uber Chevy Suburban to drive me home. Three pain free days and $19,750 from start to finish was an outstanding experiance and givemethevin.com is a very honest and classy operation. I recommend them to anyone. I wish that I had more cars to sell.

On their initial visit, the tech told us how to reset our side slide which was experiencing uneven movement and sticking. They also set an appointment for the following week to repair or our furnace. They showed up early for the repair and it wound up being $200 less than the original quote. They removed the furnace and cleaned out the mess left by dirt daubers (thanks previous owner!), then reinstalled and made sure the screen was in place to prevent future problems. I came on a Saturday and they were packed. Because so many people are taking advantage of covid and unemployment that they should NOT be on... it is creating a huge burden on all retail establishments. This place was busy enough to have had at least 2 more Technicians. And they had a huge hiring sign posted out front. That being said, they took care of me and everyone else as quickly and professionally as possible. I will continue to come here. read more

A trashy lady in a black car just tried to cut me off on hightway 26 in Colleyville and then had enough nerve to give me the finger. She was proudly driving a Hamms Tire vehicle. That kind of place is this when the people that represent them give people the finger and cut people off. Would not go to a place like that for any service.
