I went to Discount Tire in Keller TX as I have done many times before. I bought 4 new tires. They cross threaded all of my lug nuts every one. I had to work them back and forth with a large breaker bar to get them off without breaking them. One wheel I was unable to get them off. The stud broke off. That wheel is still on the car if it goes flat I'm not sure what I will do. I went back to Discount Tire and they directed me to Brakes plus down the street and said they would pay to fix it if I bought a new set of tires for $1000 read more

OMG YES YES AND YES USE THIS ONE. The temp dropped overnight and our tires were low pressure. It was raining horribly and cold... a really bad and yucky day. We pulled up to the front and the young man ran out in the rain and with a smile and warm greeting asked what we required. He then proceeded to fill all four tires in these abysmal conditions. Setup an online service appointment, showed up 10 minutes early and after waiting two hours my car hadn't been touched. Gave up and asked for my key back and the man behind the counter let me know I was checked in wrong. Lucky me (sarcasm) The tracker they text you went past its time frame as well so not sure I trust the reasoning. Brought my car in on Saturday as I had a nail in my tire and my tire pressure notification was on. The employee who helped me let me know that the air in the tire doesn't seem to be leaking too much, but I let him know I still wanted it out and patched as I have to drive back to Austin on Monday, and I don't want it to cause any complications during my long drive. He let me know no problem, and I dropped my car off with him. After I picked up my car and got home, I noticed the nail is STILL in my tire. They kept my car at their shop all day at and didn't even touch it. I am a very loyal customer of Discount Tires, and always purchase the additional warranties on the tires to cover things like this. It's extremely unfortunate the the workers at this store are so lazy and think they can take advantage of a young woman that may look like she doesn't know much about cars. Price kept changing and the information was a complete lie (checked and verified with our car dealership). There were two employees assisting cars @ the station and a large truck awaiting assistance for inventory drop off I assume? I had a 1:45 appointment to have 4 tires put on my Jeep. I arrived at 1:40 and was checked in was told they would have me out at 2:30. Well at 3:05 pm they have just pulled it in to get started. What is the point of an appointment? So far very disappointed. Counter is understaffed 5 people standing in line waiting to be helped. Let's see if they follow instructions. 3:45 the pull my vehicle out telling me that only one TPMS sensor is reading and it's the new one that they had to put in because they damaged it. So now magically the other 3 just stopped working? Try another story. After going back and forth with Marcos and him telling me he would half the cost of the new sensors he said that he would take care of the sensors in an effort to keep my business, I was ok with that since he was trying to do the right thing. Oh but wait there is more 3 1/2 hours after my appointment time I finally get my vehicle back with all the sensors working start to pull off and realize they gave me no receipt so had to go back to get that. Now 3 hours and 45 minutes later I am on my way home. But wait there is still more! I get home and unload my groceries come out a few minutes later and my right rear tire is flat! Really I am not making this up! Come to find out the brand new TPMS sensor they just put in was left loose and leaked most of the air out of the tire. Now I am sitting here with 4 brand new tires and one of them is flat! Thanks discount tire for the worst service I have ever gotten anywhere! Wow! Discount Tire, Nolan and Carlos have been a bright spot in a tough week! I ran over a bolt in the road with my new Toyota RAV4:(. Two tow trucks no showed and left me on the side of the road late last night:( :( This morning I took my car and tire to Discount Tire to see if they could patch it. After last night, I wasn't hopeful. Nolan greeted me and was so friendly and kind! He looked at the tire checked me in and said they would check to see if the tire could be patched safely. 44 mins later a got a call from Carlos (also very friendly) that they were done and they were able to patch my tire. Discovered one Saturday evening close to 5pm that I had a flat tire. Drove over in a rush to discount tire and they happened to have a sale on 4 new tires. After getting 2 nails in 2 tires within 6months I decided to replace them all and get the insurance policy on them as well. Even though I haven't gotten a nail since ( luckily)....still worth it because i get a free tire rotation and balance every few thousand miles. Never realized how important it actually is but I do feel my tires lasting longer now. Plus I got 70$ off a rebate for the tires I got and they have a warrenty of 80,000 miles if rotated and maintained properly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is they do try and sell you on things you don't need sometimes, so keep an eye out for that. P.S. Make an appointment , it really makes a difference in the amount of time you wait! P.p.S they have free water bottles in the mini fridge. read more

I've been a Discount Tire customer for 35 years. Be ever had a problem with them honoring their or the Manufacturers warranty. I buy all of my tires for 4 vehicles from them, and run top of the lIne Michelin's on all but my beater pickup. Was told today that they would not honor Mfrs warranty on my car because the Mfr would not warrant them on the rear of my 3 series BMW, due to the manner in which the tires wear on that car. They should have told me that before they sold me the tires. Not the proper way to do business or treat a long term customer. I definitely would say I was mislead regarding the mfrs warranty. Will take my business elsewhere in the future both retailer and tire manufacture read more
