I upgraded my wheels and tires on my 2018 F-150 along with a leveling kit. I sent a picture of what I wanted and was greeted with a solution and a price. The rep was very knowledgeable and it felt as if he could read my mind. I got scared a few days before because money is tight in 2023 and I sent him a different photo (same idea) and he assured me that my truck would look good. Im from Houston and was in Dallas for the weekend. Just so happened to see they had some rims I like but $500 cheaper than any rim shop in Houston. I bought the set and traveled back home to get some tires in Houston. One of the rims was bent and unbalanced out of the brand new box (not Texas Tires fault). I called Jihad and told him about the messed up rim. He told me to bring it back and they would switch it out, but the only problem is I'm 4 hours out so he called his few other locations. The nearest one that had the rims was 2 hours out (Beaumont) and I was about to go the next day to switched it out. I got in contact with Ash from Texas Tires 34 in Beaumont to make sure he had the rim before I traveled out. We had a small conversation and some how he lives not too far from me and ended up meeting him 10 minutes from my house to switch it out!!! I live near this location and only came here because Hamm's Tire around the corner has become a joke. I purchased 2 tires online and had a Saturday morning to get them installed. I arrived early 20 minutes prior to them being open. They were unloading their entire garage and all the workers were about as grumpy as could be. Only one older worker told me to move my truck. I told him I had a question for him, and he ignored me and walked off. Then the guys were getting frustrated at me because of where I was parked. But they clearly have no parking area on the small lot. I find a spot and park and wait for them to open, and try to ask another question. You can tell the older guy didn't want to be bothered. They open and then I'm told to move my truck across the lot. I comply and have to do a scene out of Austin Powers to get my truck to fit in front of the garage. I don't mind that but other customers would. Finally after several minutes another guy comes out and rudely asks me what I want. No good morning, or how can we help you sir. I told him I needed my two new tires placed on the rear and the two old rear tires moved to the front. He said ok and walked off. No price quote or anything. I had to go find him and ask how much it would cost. I felt the quote was high at $70 to mount and balance two tires and rotate the other two. When they were done I noticed they didn't use a torque wrench to torque the lug nuts down. And I waited about ten minutes before going inside, because no one told me my vehicle was done. I go inside and meet with the one guy who quoted me, who was just chilling on the internet. He pushes me off to the cashier girl like I was a nuisance. So I ask him about not seeing his guys use a torque wrench upon completion. I asked if the air ratchets can be set to a certain torque pressure and he said yes. And I was firm that my torque wrench at home was not working great so I hoped that he was right. I still haven't looked up the air ratchets to see if he was speaking the truth. Anyways I got home and noticed they didn't even remove the stickers on the tires. Seems extremely lazy and these guys are about the most impersonal folks I have dealt with. It was almost like they were zombies. No eye contact, no desire to be there. I will not be returning to Texas Tires in Watauga or probably any other location. It was a very awkward and creepy experience. I would have seriously given them only 1 star but they got 2 because they did complete the job. But I will be searching for someone else to pay when I get my two front tires done. read more

They are overpriced for the work they do. I've been to other tire shops such as Discount Tire and their quality of service is much better than this business. This business charges as if they were NTB. One of the supervisors got upset because I did not buy a TPMS sensor from them. I had already bought one and it was a quarter of the price they were going to charge me. If you have to finance wheels, lift, suspension, save your money because you're going to pay triple the damn price in interest. This location has stupid markup on all their products. Again, I can't stress this enough, for as much as they charge I could've gone to a professional location. And they don't tell you how much it is until after they do the job. I paid $45 to have them mount a TPMS sensor. No balance, nothing. Just a simple mount of my own purchased sensor! Don't come here!!! read more

Salesman, price and install service was great. BUT, I was told the free road hazard on my Toyo tires was better than Discount Tires. Wrong, six months later i got a cut in my sidewall, is it wasnt covered. I had to pay $286 for a new tire. In my twenty plus years driving in Texas i have had two sidewall cuts in two different cars and both were covered under Discount Tires warranty. I called Discount tire and they said it would recovered. Shared this with the Texas Tire Manager and he said it was not covered. Lesson here is go with Discount tire, their price is the same but warranty is better. read more

Charged us 1800.00 for wheels that don't fit we had them one week they took them back to fix them and we have had nothing but a run around and now they say it's to late to do anything else about it so we have no wheels and no money they will not do anything to fix the problem. July '19, I purchased 6 tires for my dually. I asked for the sales guy to give me a discount since I'm purchasing 6 tires. He said he couldn't then but would give me a discounted price of $40 when I bring the tires back for rotation and balance. 7000 miles later, I returned for my $40 rotation and balance and to my surprise, they would not honor it. They said its usually $120, and they would do it for $60 since I bought the tires from them. I explained that I was told $40 when I bought the tires and that was the deal sealer for me buying the tires for $1,400 therefore I was not willing to pay more than $40. I guess he thought he was negotiating the $20 difference from me as he was firm on his position. I walked away stating that "I do not conduct business like that and will not tolerate that kind of business dealing". In conclusion, it was just $20 and I would've paid the difference and felt better doing so if he was apologetic about the "misunderstanding", instead of taking the position like we're negotiating a price on a sale. Not once did he say, "I apologize, there must be some misunderstanding during the sale". Well, I've purchased 4 new sets of tires in three years from these folks and I will be happy to take my business back to Discount Tires where customer service is more important than $20. read more

Truly the worst customer service, not only the store but the corporate office as well. I purchased a lift and tires for my super duty. 4 month later a rim cracked. The manager of the location said it would be covered under the factory warranty and ordered a new one. This was a 3-day delivery mind you. I called after week one and was told it was not it, they would call me to keep me updated on its progress. I called week two (no call from them) same story. I called week three, same story. I called week 4 and 5, same story. Mind you I still at this point have not received a call from anyone. The rim came in and I want to have it changed out. After they pulled my tire from the warranty replacement, I was told I would have to pay a 40-dollar charge for the mount. I asked if this would be waved due to this being warranty, the 5 weeks wait, and zero calls from the store. I was told literally ''pay it we will put the broken one back on and you can leave''. I paid and just wanted to go. starting the truck, I noticed the tire light was on. I asked the young man to check the pressure. unfortunately, they only filled the tire halfway. Once the tire was full the light was still on. Turns out they did not pair the receiver to the truck. The young man asked the manager to come pair the pressure censer and he refused sending the team member back out with the tools needed. The team member and I were able to figure it out and address the problem. 4 months later a rim cracked again, factory failure. I went to another location due to how badly I was treated the last time. I was told by the manager he was a friend of the manager who did not address my original concerns and would make a call on my behalf. I drove back to meet with the manager, and he ordered another rim. I was informed this would take three day and not to my surprise it took 5 weeks. All the same phone calls apply from the first visit. Once the rim came in, I went to have it changed out. The manager came, gave me my keys, and said I was all set. I wanted to check the rim, tire pressure, and make sure all was well. I was shocked to see not only did they order the wrong rim. They mounted and put it on my truck. I got the manager to show him what was on the truck and he said I could keep that one until the correct one came in so I would not be driving on a broken one. I called for another 5 weeks with the same stories. At this point I just did not know what to do as the manager stopped taking my calls and to this point had NEVER called me, not one time. I got a hold of the corporate office. I spoke with a team member and gave her a breakdown of everything I had been through. She listened and took notes. She committed to investigating and calling me back. She called me back a couple of days later and did not have much of an update. It was more of a formality. I was not happy with the call so she said she would keep digging. This was the last call I received from the office. At this point I was passed off the 4 different customer care agents with zero care for my concern. They have also now stopped taking my phone calls and refuse to call me back. I am at a point I just do not know what to do. They have my property and are refusing to give it back. This is the first time in my life, and I have been through anything like this. Came here to get my rim resealed because my tire was leaking around the rim expected to pay about $25 which I would think is high but willing for a five minute job but they charge $40 plus tax so be sure to get your prices locked down first I find that a bit over the top because I could have just bought a inexpensive tire for about 45 to 60 bucks but definitely worth the $40 to know to never shop here again read more

I went to this Texas Tire to have new leaf springs and all new shocks put on my Jeep. I started to notice that my Jeep was bottoming out in the back, so I removed the rubber boots on my shock and discovered that I have about 3" of travel in the rear and maybe 3.5" in the front. My Jeep is lifted, so this was a concern. I proceeded to take my vehicle back for them to look at it, and I was thinking maybe the wrong size shocks were ordered and they could order the correct ones. Well the Store Manager, G quickly became aggravated and was saying that I brought him the part numbers for the shocks. Which I didn't do, the only thing I said was that I wanted Rubicon Express Mono-tube shocks. If G treats his customers the way he treated me, I would not go there. If you have an issue later, from my experience, they won't repair/fix the problem. So now it seems that I'm stuck with the incorrect shocks for my Jeep, and they will not resolve their mistake. read more

We have used this place several times and have spent a great deal each time. Went to get new tires & rims, agreed on a price. The owner/manager of shop then completed credit application and advised we were approved for more... (we all laughed a little & said we've already made an agreement on the price), he completed the paperwork and left it with the girl at the counter to go over. My husband was looking over it and noticed it was about $450.00 more than what we were quoted. The owner/manager came back in and his reply was. "Well you were approved for more" my husband replied that was a slight of hand .... the owner/manager laughed and said yeah a little.... we said no, this is not the agreed price, the owner/manager would not honor the original agreement.
