So, I called around 4pm to ask about a relatively quick service for one of my tires that had a nail stuck. They told me "we close at 5, so as long as you get here before 5, you're ok. It will be 17 dollars if you pay cash, 22 with card" Awesome! I left home immediately because thanks to constant repairs around 287 it takes you three times the usual time getting anywhere. We got there at 4:50pm... barely made it! Right? Guess not. I was "greeted" by the owner with a "WE'RE CLOSED" before I could even say "good evening". I tried to explain and told him it was something quick to fix. Again, "We're closed" now visibly annoyed. I told him that we had been on the phone earlier with someone there and they'd told us to get there BEFORE 5 and they'd help us. Now even more annoyed, he asked "what time is it" so I showed him my phone. "Oh ok, back up there". I said "thank you so much" and proceeded to explain what was wrong, but he just barked at me "where's the lug nut"... I just smiled and gave it to him. When he was done repairing the tire, he walked to me and said "done. 22 dollars" umm ok but I have cash... "22 DOLLARS". 5 dollars more because I "troubled" them by giving them business at closing hour? Cool. I spend more in lousy coffee at Starbucks. The owner walked away and had someone else finish setting up the tire. When he was done, I said "I really appreciate, you have a good day!" to which he responded "well I'll try because you had me bla bla bla" I didn't even hear the rest of his rant because honestly what the actual f*ck? Since when is giving people money for a service considered an insult? You can't spare 10 minutes from of your precious time to make 22 dollars and maybe be grateful for it?
Bottom line, if you're looking for a place that gets the job done with lousy customer service, you're in luck. read more
