Everyone we met at the dealership was friendly and professional. They found the exact car I was looking for in short order (going to get it in 3-5 days). The process was smooth, straightforward, and I feel we struck a fair deal. I highly recommend talking to them if you're looking for a new vehicle.

Very used car dealer vibes where they care more about the money than the customers needs. I had inquired about a certified pre-owned Acura, and stated a cash offer via email that was told "didn't seem unreasonable" when emailing back and forth prior to driving across DFW to see the car. It was only downhill from there A few specific things that stood out: I corresponded with Mike throughout the day and gave approximately 30 minutes' notice that I was on my way. Upon arrival, I waited roughly 30 minutes while the vehicle was located and the battery replaced. Given that I had clearly communicated my arrival time and the specific vehicle I was coming to see, this delay immediately made me question my decision to leave work early and drive from West Plano to Grapevine through DFW traffic. Most concerning were the aftermarket fees presented, which resulted in significant sticker shock and a feeling of deception--particularly after my stated cash offer had been described as reasonable the night before. I had also explained that, due to plans to relocate out of state, the Dealer Prep with Lux Membership (a whopping $2800 add on!) was unnecessary. I reiterated my all-in, out-the-door cash offer and was prepared to take possession of the vehicle if we could agree on that number. Instead of removing the Lux Membership, I was presented with a revised quote that removed my "down payment" and resulted in a higher total amount to be financed, followed by involvement from another sales representative asking how the dealership could earn my business. At that point, I felt unheard, unappreciated, and--quite frankly--treated as though I could be taken advantage of financially. Perhaps I am accustomed to a different caliber of customer experience, having previously done business with Park Place Volvo and Goodson Acura. My visit here felt no different than shopping at any other used car dealership in the DFW area, where the numbers seemed to matter more than the customer.

My husband drove me the extra 1 hour to Grapevine where I called ahead, told them what vehicle I wanted, what I wanted walk out the door final pricing, and what interest rate. This probably was the smoothest transaction I have ever had in 18 years of car buying! No hassling me over warranties and such; I was at the dealership about 1 1/2 hours total; test drive and waiting in line for financing to sign for the car (they were SUPER BUSY) and we were on the road home!!! I would make the 3 hour drive again if needed!

Dealerships can vary in terms of customer service and Grapevine Honda is no different. My home…read moreHonda dealership is McKinney Honda, however, Grapevine Honda is closer to my office so I took a chance. Here are my two experiences, both from the last month, with my certified pre-owned Honda CR-V. 1. I was having battery issues as it wasn't holding a charge. I had AAA diagnose the problem earlier in the day and the tech indicated it was a bad cell preventing it from holding a charge. Because the CR-V had an extended warranty and certified pre-owned, I thought perhaps the battery would be covered under warranty so I took it into the dealership. Unfortunately, Grapevine Honda said the battery was not part of the warranty and it would cost $300 for the regular battery and $450 for the H5 battery which my model CR-V required per the sales advisor. I ended up calling AAA again and had them install the H5 battery for $244 along with a 3 year warranty. The mark-up for a car battery at Grapevine Honda is insane. Service interaction was good, but the price gouging is unacceptable. 2. Maintenance code B127 popped up on the display, which meant I needed an oil change. Grapevine Honda was running a special on oil changes, so I went there due to the proximity to my office. Part of the multi-point inspection showed that I needed to change my transmission fluid as there was no record of it ever being changed, so I approved of it based on the history that was presented to me in the moment. However, when I got home late that night, I reviewed the certified pre-owned checklist paperwork and the transmission fluid was indeed changed prior to buying the vehicle 5 months before. The next day, I talked to the service advisor, Kyle Guyette, who helped research further and discovered that the Honda database (EVRM) did indeed show that the transmission fluid was changed a few months prior. (Apparently, Grapevine looks at Carfax data on vehicles as EVRM may not always be accurate; in this case the Carfax data was missing work that was done on my CR-V.) Nonetheless, Kyle was able to resolve the situation and issued a full refund on the transmission fluid flush that was done but not required. I appreciated the fact that Kyle was very professional and handled the situation extremely well by making things right - there was no hesitation or trying to deny or negotiate. Bottomline: work was done that was not required to the vehicle, but Kyle rectified and resolved the situation professionally and quickly. Because of this, trust has been established. The next time the CR-V needs servicing, I will be working with Kyle, who I highly recommend to anyone who has a Honda that requires maintenance or repairs.

He tried to tell me after keeping my car for October and November not opening the door for 15 days that I need a new tires I have the message if anybody wants to hear it it took me calling six dealerships to find one outside of town in Denton that actually had competent employees not full of fake BS. Everybody at this location is complete. idiots except Vinny unfortunately he had a funeral and did not get to follow through with my car so then Jackson demanded that it was time to pick it up to make sure I gave them good reviews. All they care about were reviews. Well here's your review. You're idiots and I have the evidence to prove it. He would not test drive my car with me swearing that they had already done it. Just give him a good review I said fine. I drove off and the work had not been done after Vinny left. They are so incompetent. They don't know how to do anything I got a hold of a dealership that made me know ridiculous promises, and didn't lie to my face and had an assessment within 24 hours that was full and complete of everything, including my tires that were in perfect condition and the necessary repair was actually needed replacement for $18,000 which James the idiot and Aaron the manager seemed to overlook because they're too busy looking in the mirror. And trying to get work for review reviews with fake kindness and fake charm they're idiots. So all these months later after having to beg dealerships to look at my car, there was something wrong. It took 1- 24 hour session with Utter Ford. To assess the problem get with my warranty company have a third-party confirm the findings and replace seven failures in my car that Grapevine Ford completely overlooked because they are such incompetent. Idiots. Do not do business here and let me just tell you they are terrible with women. They have one woman that works the line and she is such a rude arrogant B. I would never have anybody in my family talk to her. She is a bully and she'll hit on your husband, so keep them away. This is the worst place to do business with since everybody that they ever have that is good gets runoff. My car is fixed if anybody wants evidence I have the full list the text with everything that needed to be done. Everything that Grapevine failed to do and the message that James the idiot left on my phone because he's too incompetent to do his job.

Huh I bought the car in 2023 so unless Ford is putting used parts in new cars I don't call that old. The O2 sensor is bad, the All Terrain controller is faulting, AC is not working. So I have never gotten a broken car back with all new issues after service. Their service paperwork I got after paying had zero recommendations or issues. They keep it and I courtesy car it home. Next day AC electric wires are found ripped out and caused a short for the fuse that is the car's brains. So fuse and new AC attachment boot is needed and ordered, will be here next day. Next day AC part still inbound iffy if can be installed before close but for sure next day. All conversations start with these repairs will have to be paid for by me. I retorted none were issues before or during service. Go in check out car, all working they caved and I owe zero. Can I see the old AC part? No we are sending it back to Ford. Can you show me the new part on my car? I have time so they go get service tech. Uh no new ac part was installed! When they wanted me to pay it was necessary, ordered and inbound arrival updates. With me not paying bubblegum and bandaids are fine. Multiple lies!

First time was while they were at a Robson Ranch event and the fellow dismissed me and told me to have my husband come and speak to them rather than talk to me. Second time was today when we stopped in their Grapevine location, asked about a very specific four-forward on their site listed as available, were told they didn't have it and as we started to ask if they had another, the lady just picked up an inbound call and started talking to them rather than focusing on the customers literally standing in front of them. Their sense of entitlement and deep lack of respect for customers is absolutely the reason they are avoided by so many and have such a terrible reputation. Avoid at all costs until you want to be treated like dirt on the bottom of their shoe.
