I paid their full advertised price with no haggling, trusting the vehicle matched the condition they represented online. I relied on their advertisement, FaceTime walk‑around, and their claim in the advertisement that they invest an average of $1,800 refurbishing their higher‑end used cars. After flying there from Florida and driving the vehicle home, I discovered numerous issues that clearly existed before the sale and were never disclosed. These included electrical problems with navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and USB charging; missing advertised items such as the Trailer Hitch Close‑Out Cover and hardware; and a Keyless Entry Keypad that could not be used because the required factory master code was not provided. The vehicle was also delivered with Arroyo Grand Sport tires (the $85 Walmart‑type) on the front and very good quality OEM Hankook Kinergy GT tires on the rear. These two brands have different construction, quality levels, and published diameters, which do not meet AWD tire‑matching requirements and should never be installed together. Contrary to their claim in the advertisement, the condition of the vehicle I received did not reflect the level of inspection or refurbishing they said was performed on their higher‑end used cars -- especially disappointing after paying top dollar with no negotiation. To bring the vehicle up to the condition it was advertised in, I had to spend $1,227.34 out of pocket. I contacted the dealership with full documentation but received no response. I am sharing my experience so other seniors and out‑of‑state buyers can be aware and verify the true condition of a vehicle before purchasing.

I like subcompact cars, and this category is basically phasing out across the US; almost every subcompact model was discontinued between 2018-2020. I liked my 2012 hatchback Nissan, but, surprise!, that one's been discontinued, too. After several test drives of different makes/models, I decided to take a look at Nissan's sedan Versa. I came across a 2021 via the internet at Ricart. I called and talked with Leesa, told her what time I'd be in to dealership the next day. I basically know what I want in a car, and this model checked all the boxes: Must have cruise control; bluetooth connectivity; good air flow; and smooth down/up shifting gears in an automatic. I was very happy to see the car ready and waiting when I arrived as planned. Leesa was young and a good personality to work with. She didn't care where I drove on the test drive (which is a huuuugh plus in my book), so I was able to drive the streets and get on the freeway to test the cruise control. I decided this was the one, and that was that. She didn't try and sell me anything else, just shook my hand said congrats, let me get my manager, and smooth sailing. I will admit I've NEVER been a Ricart fan - I think it stems back to the annoying guitar "We're dealin!" Commercials from the dad, so it is what it is. I was really happy that everyone I dealt with, from the warranty man, to the cashier gal, had great attitudes and caught onto my sarcasm right away and punned back. Overall, my dealings with Ricart were hassle free. I've already taken advantage of my lifetime car washes perk. When we brought it back on 1/20, we were told the necessary repairs would be covered. Over the next 2.5 months, we followed up weekly and were repeatedly told the issue was being handled. When we were finally scheduled for service, only the repairs we paid for were completed. The items they previously agreed to cover were not addressed, and we were later told they would not be covered at all. Additionally, we were informed multiple times that notes were being added to our file and that someone would follow up, but there is no record of these communications. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing due to the lack of transparency, communication, and accountability.

They're using "Bait &…read moreSwitch" & False Advertising tactics to deceive people into either coming or calling to sell cars! I was looking for a car & seen a good deal obviously found out it was to good to be true when I gave them my information & started to inquire about the car. They had a 2019 Dodge charger R/T with a sales price of $13,000. So when I asked if it was available I received a text message that the price was $18,000. I then called because of the obvious confusion and I also live two hours away from the dealership. I wish I could give you the audio to this call. I asked about the car & the polite girl on the other side of the phone just says yes that's the price. I then told her about the text I got & the fact that I'm driving 2 hours to look at this car so I wanted to double check before I leave. She then says well that's the down payment not the actual price. They informed me that the $13,000 is a down payment and the actual price is around $32,000! It's actually wild to me that these types of dealerships get away with what they do & I'm currently looking into reporting them because I don't care what loophole they're using, simply lying is unacceptable in business!

I have to post about our car buying experience at Buckeye Motor Sales. We were in a really bad…read moresituation and had just been hit by an 18 wheeler -- our almost paid off car totaled in a matter of a few days. I looked on Car Gurus and found a car that really impressed me and I inquired. The next day I called and talked to Steve and was immediately struck by how in depth he was about the car. He listened to my situation and let me tell him what we needed. We discussed the car and had several conversations that day and it was no time at all and we were approved by various lenders and we were arranging to drive to Delaware to finalize the purchase. Unfortunately I became really sick and couldn't make the trip for a few days and Steve was more concerned about my health than the sale. Which is not surprising since he is not a typical salesman. We came today, finalized the deal, signed, sealed, and after a few hours home with our new 2014 Chevy Cruze and it is JUST what we were looking for. 100,000 miles less than our totaled car, great payment and 1st payment not due for a month. Beautiful car, clean, great gas mileage, and so happy to say this Made in America and Made in Ohio car is Ours. Thank you Steve -- you have been a wonderful help to us. Thank you Sharon for your help and providing us excellent service. You are a great team and we highly recommend Buckeye Motor Sales and Steve and Sharon to anyone needing a new ride.

He assured me that it would be about an hour to an hour and 1/2 total. Although the rep was very helpful and professional, that was the only good part of this appt. After an hour and 20 mins I walked outside the to see that my truck was still in the parking lot and hadn't moved from where they initially staged it. I explained again that I had to be somewhere and couldn't wait at that point. I had to take time from running a business just to waste over 2 1/2 hours to not accomplish anything. I did purchase from them, it's still a fairly new vehicle. I did get a half-hearted apology from the "manager" but my concerns were not addressed any further than that. I also got the follow up call about my experience. When I explained what happened and that I wouldn't likely give them any more business, the rep on the phone said "ok...we will put you in our system as moved out of the area" (maybe not exact words, but pretty accurate). I told her that would be a lie because it wasn't why I wasn't coming back. She didn't address it any further and ended the call. Just an unacceptable way to do business. For the record the buying experience was overall good, but this situation has lost my future business.
