Bought a 2010 Cadillac SRX, low miles, Platinum, beautiful. Had headlight issues, stalling and underpowered off of the lot. Bought extended warranty. They neglected to tell us there is a 5k limit. Tried to charge me 2k for a headlight assembly. Tore down timing and said missing teeth on timing and timing chains bad. They said needs a new Engine, 12k. 14k total - 5k warranty = 9k we have to pay. We declined. Then they asked if their tech could drive it home and back the next morning. Round trip I guess 75 miles. COMPLETELY RAN ALL OUR FUEL OUT AND DID NOT REPLACE. Supposedly they replaced a Sensor, manifold bolts and gaskets. Walah, they waved a Magic wand over the vehicle and now it's fixed?? How do you go from missing teeth on timing, bad timing chain, needs new motor, total of 14k to this??? Uuhhmm did I miss something. Now they ignore and avoid me, and will not write me an estimate so I can seek financial assistance. I am a 100% Disabled Marine Veteran and assistance is available. This is impossible when you can't get a return call, get an estimate or any customer service. Vehicle returned dirty, trash inside like the tech took his family to a water park, fair or the movies or something smdh. In the last 2 years we have bought 3 vehicles from Ricart. Last vehicle was my wife's 2019 Camaro LT with the RS Package. Then you do this to us. You have lost our business. You are so large obviously you don't care. I'm gonna let as many people know as I can. The BBB, Attorney Generals Office and who ever will listen. I deployed overseas, fought for your freedom, just to have you screw me. Thank You Ricart. And when I went to pick up the vehicle, the rude CSR In service said "it's parked out front' I said no its not I don't see it. She grabbed the keys, slammed them down in the window and said, we will pull it up for you. Rolled eyes, sighed. WOW. I said no I will find it. It was parked all the way in the rear of the lot. Thank GOD for a panic button.

I like subcompact cars, and this category is basically phasing out across the US; almost every subcompact model was discontinued between 2018-2020. I liked my 2012 hatchback Nissan, but, surprise!, that one's been discontinued, too. After several test drives of different makes/models, I decided to take a look at Nissan's sedan Versa. I came across a 2021 via the internet at Ricart. I called and talked with Leesa, told her what time I'd be in to dealership the next day. I basically know what I want in a car, and this model checked all the boxes: Must have cruise control; bluetooth connectivity; good air flow; and smooth down/up shifting gears in an automatic. I was very happy to see the car ready and waiting when I arrived as planned. Leesa was young and a good personality to work with. She didn't care where I drove on the test drive (which is a huuuugh plus in my book), so I was able to drive the streets and get on the freeway to test the cruise control. I decided this was the one, and that was that. She didn't try and sell me anything else, just shook my hand said congrats, let me get my manager, and smooth sailing. I will admit I've NEVER been a Ricart fan - I think it stems back to the annoying guitar "We're dealin!" Commercials from the dad, so it is what it is. I was really happy that everyone I dealt with, from the warranty man, to the cashier gal, had great attitudes and caught onto my sarcasm right away and punned back. Overall, my dealings with Ricart were hassle free. I've already taken advantage of my lifetime car washes perk. Leesa (the sales gal I talked with on the phone to ask if they still had the car I'd found via the internet), and let her know I wa

Over the next 2.5 months, we followed up weekly and were repeatedly told the issue was being handled. When we were finally scheduled for service, only the repairs we paid for were completed. The items they previously agreed to cover were not addressed, and we were later told they would not be covered at all. Additionally, we were informed multiple times that notes were being added to our file and that someone would follow up, but there is no record of these communications. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing due to the lack of transparency, communication, and accountability.

We also asked for a better price and again he didn't say anything. He then proceeded to tell us "This is the price, we cannot give a you discount and if you pay cash or finance you can go elsewhere." With a disgusting attitude. I thought I was talking to a teenager. We were planning to talk business with them with about a bigger truck and a commercial truck. He did not seem the least bit interested in us and what we needed. We left to Germain Nissan and the customer service was on point as soon was we got out the car. She was told that it would be $100 up front for them to run the diagnostic. Then, later, we were told that you didn't need the money up front. If I could give zero stars, I would. I called three times and the first time I was transferred everywhere and ended up in someone's voicemail. The second time someone hung up on me. Then, the lady said we'll need an appointment. So i set one. We decided to come over and see if she had accidentally tripped the immobilizer. The appointment lady told me they were open until 6. When we got here, they told her that they had lost her key fob. They also told her that they closed at 2 and that "they shouldn't have told you six". Then, I went in and tried to talk to a guy named Rick. Rick was appallingly rude. He was an old guy with a face wrinkled up like a raisin, and a personality even uglier. I told him that my friend is homeless. I told him that we just drove from Utica, and that I have stage for cancer. He had ZERO compassion. I tried to explain to him what we wanted to do, and didn't have a nasty tone of voice or anything. He kept accusing me of "getting smart with him". Then my friend tried to explain and he accused her of getting smart. This is when I got mad. I told Rick he shouldn't work with people. He told me neither should I. I said I was a teacher and he said, "I wouldn't want to be one of your students!" At this point I told him to F off, and he threatened to call the police. They then told my friend that they wouldn't want to give her the key fob because all of a sudden they found paperwork that said she owed them money, even though they had done NOTHING TO HER CAR. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, and maybe an attorney.

Everybody in the waiting room was waiting for at least 2 hours. I understand they had a ton of cars to maintenance probably, and I'm not sure how staffing looks like for the service department. But, I feel they need to let people know that it will be a long wait or not schedule as many people at the same time for a maintenance. This unfortunately is not the first time I have waited this long at this location. My previous time was like this and it makes you not want to bring in your car again to get serviced but I had to. I will leave a good review for all of the staff because they were all very nice. This goes for the service department as far as my review. Hope it gets figured out for the future.

He gave it to me to sign after the discussion of the purchase was long over and I was working on getting the warranty set up. It was my fault for not reading it before I signed it, but he was also responsible for making me aware of what was on it. Long story short, it had major mechanical issues. The rear differential binds on turn, a problem so bad the car should not be driven until fixed. I had no idea the vehicle had a problem this bad, and no one at Ricart was aware of it either. I am extremely disappointed in their service, because I thought I was buying a reliable vehicle, and they greatly mis represented the mechanical soundness of the car.

You will find similar stories like this on Reddit.

First things first -- I really didn't want to do this. But the more I thought about it, the more I…read morerealized something needs to be said. I purchased a brand-new 2026 Dodge Durango this past Sunday from Jeff Wyler in Canal Winchester. What should have been a memorable and exciting milestone was instead an awful experience filled with dishonesty, manipulation, and disrespect. From the very beginning, I explained to the salesperson, Ben, exactly what I wanted -- a new Durango -- along with the price and monthly payment I needed to stay within. I also made it crystal clear that I am refinancing my home soon, so my credit was NOT to be run with more than two banks. Somehow, it was shopped to five. Completely unacceptable. Even then, I was disappointed but not angry. I reiterated that I wanted a Durango, but I was pushed toward a Jeep Grand Cherokee I never asked for. Ben claimed it was $37,000, with $11,000 in rebates. I don't love the Jeep, but I could've learned to love it for that price. Except -- that price was a lie. The sticker price was actually $51,000. The rebates only brought it back down toward MSRP. There were no real savings, and I would never pay $51K for that vehicle. I left the dealership upset. Neither Ben nor his manager called to understand why. A few days later, Ben contacted me again saying he found a Durango that matched my budget. The only reason I returned was because my credit had already been run multiple times, and I had a $60K approval from my own bank. For context -- I have purchased from this location before. My previous salesperson, Heather, was wonderful. She's the reason I came back. If she was able to locate a Durango in 2017, I would have purchased from her again When I arrived to finalize the deal, it was supposed to be sign and drive. Instead, the day became a back-and-forth battle over payments and pricing. Days before, the payment was $697 now suddenly it became $751. The only reason I ended up at $697 was because I found the solution by planning to sell my 2017 Durango privately. I told Ben I didn't want any add-ons besides GAP. He said finance would handle it. Yet when I got to finance, he had told them I requested a flashing back brake light something I never heard of and never asked for. If I wasn't paying attention, I would have unknowingly signed up for a service I did not want. The finance manager -- who was the ONLY person who did right by me -- worked the GAP and maintenance package into my budget. I appreciate him. But this is the part that guaranteed I will never return to Jeff Wyler in Canal Winchester: After everything was signed, I came out of closing and Ben was gone. No congratulations. No delivery walkthrough. No photo. No explanation of features. I had to track someone down just to get the second key. This was my first brand-new car purchase ever. I had my kids with me. This should have been a proud moment and instead, I felt ignored and humiliated. Another employee eventually came out to help and made excuses for Ben. Then he told me that if I wasn't going to say anything positive, I should say nothing at all. Let me be clear: I will not protect a dealership's reputation at the expense of my dignity. I financed $58,000 and couldn't even get a sincere thank-you. I purchased a maintenance plan and I don't even want to bring my car here for service now. Every single opportunity to redeem this experience was wasted This was my first brand-new vehicle. This will be my last experience with Jeff Wyler. Dodge products all together. Thank you for the terrible experience.
