Then I realized the whole reason they didn't have a massive line like the other trucks is just because of how fast they are, and absolutely wasn't a reflection of the truck's food. The person working the truck was really friendly and I got my hot dog in under 2 minutes. All of the other food trucks had ticket times that seemed upwards of 10 minutes causing massive backups. Really like the sweet chili, the lemon pepper... well, was much too lemony. The beer selection here was quite extensive, we chose one of the lighter session IPAs, which was quite good. The outside had a great crunch while the inside stayed soft and moist. It was a really good way to start the meal. For my main course, I ordered the clams with ground chorizo sausage. I never would have thought to pair clams with such a rich and flavorful broth, but it absolutely worked. The chorizo added so much depth, and I enjoyed every bit of the dish. My husband ordered the pork loin, and I have no idea what they did to it, but it was incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth. It was also packed with flavor. I tried a bite and thought it was delicious. For dessert, we shared the whipped cream with berries. It was light and pleasant, although compared with the rest of the meal, I did not find it particularly memorable. Overall, the food and service were the highlights of the evening.
