We ordered a turkey leg which was so tender and moist that it fell off the bone.

I've never had a bad meal here, there was never an off day, every single staff member is insanely well mannered, polite, helpful, kind, genuine, and just overall welcoming. I'm always excited to come eat here, and I always leave feeling like the luckiest person alive. I need a Korea House hat or sweatshirt pleeeeease. I love this restaurant.

We ordered the kimchi pancake, short rib soup with potatoes and glass noodles, and fried beef brisket (spice level 2/4). The kimchi pancake was overly breaded and tasted like it had been fried in reused oil. The short rib soup was the safest dish of the night, but the beef was still chewy rather than tender, the glass noodles were minimal, and the broth was extremely salty with a noticeable MSG-like taste. The fried beef brisket was heavily sauced, overly salty, and far spicier than a mild level should be. The beef itself tasted far from fresh and was very tough to chew. The appetizers were among the most basic I've seen at any Korean restaurant in the Greater Seattle area. Even then, the kimchi lacked depth and tasted unfresh, with sourness that felt more like age than proper fermentation. What made the experience even stranger was when the server asked how everything was. We tried to respond politely, and the server simply said, "I'm with you." Korean food is not rare in this area, and the prices here are on the higher side. With that context, the quality is difficult to justify. To be fair, the space is decent for group gatherings, large space, and the staff were friendly. But food is the most basic standard for a restaurant, and unfortunately it fell far below expectations. I genuinely don't understand how this place has such high ratings.

But the food is good, people are super nice, and prices are great. In long I had some time to kill in the area, and saw the rates for this place being nice and high. You walk past a smoker and a bunch of propane tanks to get to the door. Much as I'd prefer to see stacks of firewood outside a BBQ spot instead of propane, it's all good. Inside, there are a few tables over there, and an order window over here, with a pop cooler next to the window. Checkered tablecloths, some hats for sale, a couple Seahawks signs, casual and laid-back. They mostly focus on ribs, pulled pork, and chicken. You won't find 10-15 different proteins here, like a bigger place farther from town might have. They do have all the usual sides, though. On the table you get rolls of paper towels, a squeeze bottle of dark sauce, and a little pail full of forks. They bring you your food after 10 minutes or so. I checked out the Small Chicken Meal--a thigh, slaw, beans, and a store-bought roll. The sides here are decent, though maybe not special. That's to be expected at almost every BBQ spot in my experience. That thigh was perfect, though--tender, still very moist, really nice sweeter flavor from the sauce. The sauce on the table is a little ketchupy for me but it hits the spot. All this and a pop was barely $20, which is a nice way to price a plate of q. So many places get crazy expensive. That's expected anymore, but finding good q at a good value really is nice. It was empty when I showed up at 4:00, but there was a constant stream of people wandering in after I sat down. So easy to see why.

When we arrived around 6:30 p.m., every table was full, and the line stretched all the way to the end of the building. We briefly considered going somewhere else, but after noticing how quickly the line was moving, we decided to stay. The wait turned out to be much shorter than expected. Unfortunately, by the time we ordered, a few popular items--including the prime rib, lamb, and beef cheeks--had already sold out. Luckily, we were still able to get the brisket, sausage, and pork ribs instead. Every bite was delicious. The meats were perfectly smoked, incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The pork ribs were the biggest surprise of the meal--my son even ranked them as his favorite. I still have to give the edge to the brisket, although I can't help but wish we had arrived early enough to try the prime rib. We left completely satisfied, with enough leftovers for another meal because we ordered more than we could finish. Now I'm just wondering... where can I find BBQ this good back home in California?

You order at the counter and they cut and weigh the BBQ in front of you. They recommend ordering 1/2 lb of meat per person plus sides and it was the perfect order. I highly recommend trying the brisket and you can't go wrong getting the Banana pudding for dessert. If you have specific items you want to try it might be worth it going early in the day as they do run out of some items. I will be coming back to try more of the menu!

Ran our errands and made our way back around 2. The line inside was about 6 deep but it moved fast with more folks piling in as fast as customers left. To our disappointment, there was a sign saying they were out of some items which was fine because there were other delicious choices available. I had the pulled pork sandwich, my husband had the brisket sandwich. We also ordered 1/2 doz wings, sides of baked beans and mac and cheese to share. The meat on both sandwiches was moist and flavorful, I could only eat half since I indulged in wings and sides. The beans were a little smoky and a little sweet. The mac was cheesy, saucy, and creamy. Take out, approx $57 total w/ tax and tip, totally worth the $. Can't wait to go back to try their other offerings.

I actually ended up coming here 2 days in a row because I was in the area with some friends coming back from the Tulip gardens and I wanted to show them the place though the line was much longer the second day. I think the BBQ is good, the pork ribs are better than the brisket imo and the sauces are okay. We tried 4/6 and ranked are: 1 - Cole slaw 2 - Mac & Cheese - this is a bit on the runny side but works well with dipping the bread in the sauce 3 - Potato salad 4 - Brisket Baked Beans We didn't try the brisket chili nor the creamed corn. ~~Parking: It's located at the end of a strip mall and there's plenty of parking though the lines are a bit faded and it's not the most even so both times we ended up parking closer to the Subway side but it's not difficult to find. ~~Service: Good. Most of the wait is just because you order and wait for your food prior to paying for it & finding your seat compared to how most restaurants you order and they bring the food to you which is a model that I would have preferred but I guess this one works well for this place because I was wanting to try their daily special of the hot link but the person right in front of me ordered the last one. After paying it's primarily a self serve place. ~~Best Part: The sides! All the sides we had tried were good and we only ended up ordering the trays because they came with the sides and I was doing girl math. ~~Worst Part: The wait to order the second day & the fact that I saw the person in front of me order the last sausage. ~~Tips: The sides are the real star of the show, so try them! ~~Return: Yes.

The chicken had a fantastic mesquite seasoning, paired perfectly with a pickled jalapeño aioli that added just the right balance of heat and tang. The bun was fresh and held everything together without getting soggy, which made the whole sandwich even better. I went with the mac and cheese bowl, and it was pure comfort food done right. The rich, creamy cheese sauce over large shell noodles was excellent on its own, but adding brisket took it to another level. The cornbread crumbles and potato chips added great texture, and a drizzle of Buckshot Honey BBQ sauce tied everything together. Every bite was loaded with flavor. What really stood out was the owner working behind the bar. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely engaged with guests, constantly checking in and making conversation. You can tell he takes real pride in his restaurant, and it shows in both the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend Buckshot Honey. We're already looking forward to coming back and working our way through the rest of the menu. And hopefully that chicken sandwich special makes its way onto the regular menu soon.

BUT I do agree the meat was quality and the challah bread bun was absolutely fabulous. The venue was incredibly dark with eclectic music - definitely did not make me want to spend much time hanging out and I couldn't wait to leave. If we try it again, I'd do takeout as I did not want to be there
