I went to Vic's a few weeks after they reopened. I wanted a hamburger but they had no hamburgers yet. Tonight I went back to Vic's about 6:40 PM and order a hamburger. Guess what they don't have hamburgers yet. I'm so disappointed I've made several trips to this location And they still cannot give me food that I want. My family stopped in for some dinner. Cute place with a picnic seating out back in a nice shady, grassy area. Great place to stop while traveling through with the family. We got BLT's, Chicken sandwiches/clubs, Pulled pork sandwich, Onion rings and Fries. The Chicken Clubs were the BEST we've ever had!! The chicken was thick and perfectly juicy. The flavor was on point! The pulled pork was also great, and the BLT was pretty yummy as well. The onion rings were on point as well. We didn't get to our fries while they were hot so I cant properly judge those. The service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be making this a repeat stop to get that delicious chicken!! read more

Food was overpriced for what was a frozen chicken patty, bun, lettuce and tomato. The fries were 5$ for a serving that probably cost them 50 cents. Service was quick, there were picnic tables to eat at. If you want to pay 14$ for a sandwich that's good, you won't get that here read more

What a fantastic stop on our way from Seattle to Leavenworth! This was such a cozy experience and the food was fantastic!! My husband got TWO double cheeseburgers and I got the chicken mushroom burger (lettuce style aka no buns)! Since they're making it fresh on the grill, there was slightly along the wait but during that time - my husband and I saw locals come and line up & the folks working greeted them like family :) we then enjoyed our meal at the local Osprey Park! This is a must-go on your stop!! With parking, be aware that this might be limited - my husband and I had to circle around twice but most people pick up their food and leave so please be patient! The burgers & shakes are fantastic!! Service was great and has to be the best looking staff in town here! Stopped in on our way home from hiking and this place was a hit. Outdoor picnic tables in the shade, great spot and delicious shakes! We ordered the blackberry shakes and it tasted like they used real berries as we tasted seeds! Made a quick stop here on the way back to Seattle from Steven's Pass. Tiny shack with a walk up window and lots of outdoor seating. The food was ready within 5 minutes and was very yummy! Burgers had a slight charred taste and milkshake was a little too thick to drink at first but eventually melted and has marshmallows and graham crackers mixed in. After leaving Wallace Falls State Park, we were on our way home and ready for lunch, so glad we chose this local spot over McD's! There is a drive thru or walk up, we parked and walked up to order, it took less than 10 minutes for our flame-grilled burgers and hand spun shakes. The food tasted fresh and was what you want with a small burger spot. Tender burger patties with that charred flavor, spicy chipotle sauce and melted pepper jack cheese, and plenty of jalapeños! You could taste the ice cream in the shakes and they were almost too thick for the straws (not a bad thing in my opinion) and the Cap'n Crunch had plenty of cereal pieces in it. If you are driving on highway 2, make this a planned stop! Will definitely be back. read more

Vicks Burger Shack was my go-to for years until it burned down in August of 2025. It makes me sad that they are no longer open. I'm hoping that they will open back up at some point. This was an amazing place and I know that they could do a really good business if they open back up. I even brought countless people there and we all raved about it. Vick's Burger Shack is must stop in the Sultan area. Since it's located right off of Highway 2, it's an ideal spot to stop by for a bite to eat before or after a road trip. Everything was fantastic here. We stopped by Vick's Burger Shack on the way to hiking, since it's near tons of trails. In fact, I spotted a few hikers when I visited, so it definitely gets business from those passing through. But I imagine the locals love Vick's too since the food was so delicious. Vick's Burger Shack is literally a shack that you order from a takeout window and either get takeout or dine at one of the outdoor tables at the back of the shack. There was parking in the back of the shack and a Honey Bucket with a portable sink. The menu featured different burger options, fry baskets, milkshakes, etc. No matter what you order from Vick's, the shake is not to be missed. I love thick, creamy milkshakes and that's exactly how it's served here! I ordered the turtle flavor, which was chocolate, caramel and cookies and cream and it was way better than I expected! So glad I tried this flavor. I also had a double cheeseburger with fries, and I liked that the burger was flame broiled, giving it that char taste. The fries were perfectly crispy. Delicious! Vick's Burger Shack is a perfect stop for road tripping. This casual eatery has juicy burgers, crunchy fries and milkshakes that are unforgettable. While I thought the burgers were okay, my husband thought they were amazing. I didn't love the charred taste but he was in love with it. I definitely recommend checking out their milkshake menu and trying one or two of these though! They have a lot of flavors here but I was just craving a strawberry one and went with the classic. My husband went with a peanut butter one and it had peanut butter smeared all along the inside which he was very happy with. It added a good taste of peanut butter rather than a hint of it and it was delicious! It left me wondering what special somethings the other milkshakes had and now I'll definitely have to stop by for another on my next trip around. They have an easy parking lot to pull into, I dont actually think theres anywhere to sit, it's mainly a pick up and go spot so definitely stop by for a quick bite when you're around. read more

If I could give a higher rating I absolutely would! My girlfriend and I were driving home from a weekend getaway that ended on a terrible note and so we decided to order a couple burgers online to comfort our disappointed moods and fill our bellies. We swung off the road to grab our burgers and the gentleman who helped us was SO kind and welcoming. It was truly the smile and level of service we were in need of. He even took it a step further, which he absolutely didn't have to, bc we were a little late for our scheduled pickup due to traffic and he offered a complimentary burger in the future so we could enjoy a hot Vic's experience. My girlfriend and I just finished eating our double bacon cheeseburgers and I don't know that I have ever had a more tasty flame grilled burger in my life. We both decided that everytime we drive thru Sultan in the future we will be stopping here! 10/10 recommend! Incredible level of care, quality of food, and overall experience! What an awesome burger Schack on the side of the road on way to Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie! Burger was delicious as was the fresh fries! But the most delicious of all was the Shake and I appreciate that it was offered in 12oz cup vice regular cup (20 oz). I had the salted caramel flavor and it was delightful and decadent! Great place to stop on our way back from bridal veil falls. The kid that took my order was so kind to fill up our water bottles. This little stand is super cute. We wanted ice cream after the hike. On our burger quest this summer, we've been hitting up lots of drive-through style burger joints in small towns. We had to choose between another place down the road and the spot. We were ultimately glad this was our choice! This is literally as a drive-through of a stop as you can go to. They have windows on both sides, though currently they are only serving out of the east side of the restaurant. The names of the burgers range from very plain such as the double cheeseburger, all the way up to the more exciting like El jefe! Our standard is a double bacon cheeseburger split between five of us. The burger was nicely done, with very good grill flavor, plenty of accompaniments and some solid bacon. It's one of the taller burgers we've actually had, and actually looked like the picture... I feel like that counts for something! As ourher burger at a place down the road, we didn't order any fries, but did get a captain crunch shake! That's something that should not be missed! The burgers were a little on the expensive side, but end of the day they were very good. Everything is really tasty! And the customer service is great! I think I have some bias because I am from northern Seattle area and there are a lot of burger places near me, like Dick's. I'd say if you go to a hike or on a road trip to the pass this is a cute little place to stop. There is some outdoor seating on little picnic benches, otherwise you can eat in the car. I saw the walk up ordering was more used than the drive thru. It was pretty pricey though. It cost $7 for me to get some nuggets and fries, and they were a little too salty for my liking. It is cooked after you ordered though so it is fresh. The wait was maybe 10 minutes for it to get cooked. read more

There are a few places to eat in Sultan. For me I needed somewhere to get a quick bite for lunch as I was going east on Highway 2. A quick search showed me Vick's Burger Shack, and since I've never been I thought "why not?" The first impression. It does look like a small shack. Second impression, the drive-up window is closed and we're asked to use the walk-up window on the other side. With a light drizzle that felt ominous. It runs out it the feeling was not warranted. The walk-up window had roof above it, and once you ordered you got a buzzer so you could retreat to your car. Nice and easy. The person taking orders was helpful and friendly. If the weather was better I might have tried the outdoor seating. I ordered a Jalapeño burger with French fries. The burger was very tasty, and the fries had a pleasant level of saltiness. If you're like me are into chunky fries... these were not. More like McD style, but still very nice. And with the burger and fries being just above $10 before tip, I think it's a good deal. I will definitively have Vick's as a hoot option for food going through Sultan. Next time I might try the pulled pork. Sultan - small burger shack. Jalapeño burger and fries. read more

A side of the road locally run burger shack with walk up ordering. The Good- The burger was delicious. Nothing fancy, but just what a weary traveler needs to refill the tank. Got kid options with nuggets if ya need. The Bad- Not a lot of....healthy options. Could go with chicken, but having one or two healthier items for (some peoples) wives, husbands, etc, would be good. The Ugly- Fries are extra on the side, which jacked the price up. I wouldn't mind, but they're just regular fries with fry seasoning on top, nothing special at all. Make em a combo. Having to get 4 sides of fries for 12$ was a bummer. The Skinny- No deal breakers and I would stop by for a fill up anytime I passed. read more

First off, there is nothing quite like a chargrilled burger. In the words of Samuel Jackson, "mmmMmm, this is a tasty burger." Because tasty burgers take time to cook, you do need to have time to wait for your burger. But it's worth it. The only reason I didn't give Vick's a 5 Star review was that the restroom facilities were a port-a-potty on the other side of the parking lot with a hand-washing station that had no water in it. I had to alcohol gel a few times and wash my hands with bottled water before I would touch my food. (The convenience store across the street also didn't have any restrooms available.) When people stop after being on the road, they want to have clean facilities to use while they wait. read more

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat and paid over $40 for a four piece, chicken nugget kids meal, a lumberjack, chicken burger, and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The chicken burger came out as a hamburger because they ran out of chicken and didn't tell us when we ordered our food. When I went up to get a chicken burger, he just simply said "sorry we're out of chicken." The burgers were burnt and were like shoe leather! Their menu advertises that they have extra thick bacon but yet we got normal thin overcooked burnt bacon. The service here sucked the food here sucks I wouldn't waste your time. Stop at the minimart across the street and get one of them hotdogs and have been in the heater for 24 hours. It'll be a better meal. read more
