Purchased a dozen bagels (you get 14). I have been getting bagels from J & J since we moved to DE ten years ago. The bagels are still a very good buy, but the bagels are not as good as they used to be. The bagels are more bready, almost a roll not a ring anymore and the amount of toppings were almost nonexistent. The everything bagels had very little toppings and the sesame seed bagels had almost no seeds. When I first started going there for bagels the bagels were covered with toppings on both sides making it hard to tell the top from the bottom. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, they open very early and sell out of some bagels so it's a good idea to get there early. read more

We enjoyed a quick and tasty breakfast here on way from the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a few booths and some stools and we are lucky enough to snag a booth during the busy rush. My husband and I split a sausage cheese everything bagel sandwich and home fries. Stopped on our way to VA. Perfect breakfast stop, bagels were fresh. We had everything and sesame with veggie cream cheese. Delicious and plenty of cream cheese that we could have got an extra bagel! Service was quick and staff friendly. Coffee was great as well! Next time we have to try the Field Worker Bagel!! read more

Most definitely not a NY bagel, but a solid choice to kickoff a 6hr roadtrip back home to NY. Think of it as a few steps up from a grocery store/dunkin donuts bagel. I got the western omelette on a garlic bagel (definitely needs hot sauce or ketchup to not be dry), and my bf got a BEC on an everything bagel. He was pleased. Service was wonderful. read more

We were craving bagel sandwiches and decided to stop for a late morning, early afternoon brunch. Looks like most patrons go for take out and we decided to eat in. Restaurant was a little smokey inside from the grill so they keep their front door open but it was freezing! Their bagel sandwiches are delicious! Hashbrowns would be better if they were made with some peppers and onions for flavor. The char from the grill tasted decent though. read more

I was craving a good chewy NY/NJ style bagel. Searched Yelp and found J&J Bagel. I have to say it's as close to NU/NJ bagels that I have found here in lower Delaware. Give them a try, it'll be worth your time. read more

Excellent selection of bagels though they were pretty depleted by mid afternoon as you would expect. Counter service was helpful and friendly. Bagels were about average. Although the sun-dried tomato bagels were pink in color, I didn't find any bits of diced tomato anywhere in the bagel. read more

Staying in Grasonville and waking early and making an omelet for the client , I felt the urge to drive to Georgetown for a bagel at JJ's. Yes I could have eaten the omelette this morning but I just want a NY style bagel. There is no where in Queen Ann's County for me to get a bagel like JJ's. This is the only bagel place on the entire Eastern shore that tastes like a NY bagel. I don't have a need to toast the bagel , that's what you do to bring a stale bagel back to life .Buy 6 bagels and get one free TOTAL $5.75 making each bagel $.82, big bag of bagel chips $1.00 , yes , they take the stale bagels and make them into a crispy snack , the best part is the bagel chips are made from all different bagels . Delicious bagels, for sure. Getting the order correct is an entirely different issue. I ordered pumpernickel and got poppyseed. There was some red bagel in the bag which I didn't order. I couldn't determine which flavor it was either, so that was disappointing. The breakfast sandwich was tasty. I have been seeing this place when I usually pick up Thai food next door but never visited. I also like to support small local shops so decided to give them a try. I order 1/2 a dozen bagels (hand made) - 3 cinnamon raisins, 2 jalapeño cheese and 2 sesame seeds (baker's half dozen). The bagels were delicious and soft, matching some of the better places in NYC. I also ordered bacon, eggs & cheese on plain bagel which was good also. Ordered via phone, went in the store to pick up & pay. Will definitely take future trips to try other items. read more

Been there a few times now and its a whole lot better than the double the price bagel place near a beach. She gets the cinnamon raisin bagel and i get a breakfast burrito,very good and full of whatever you want and a lot to choose from to suit you, bagels are always fresh,owners and/or employees seem friendly and courteous and happy to have your business. We stopped in J & J Bagels on the way home from the beach (took 113 to avoid traffic). It's a small little place with a few tables but it was perfect for what we needed which was a delicious, affordable, and quick breakfast. I had and Egg & Cheese Bagel sandwich which was pretty decent. I recommend stopping in here if you are looking for something simple, fast, and yummy. I'll be back! read more

We moved to Delaware from northern New Jersey so we're real picky about things like bagels and pizza. It's real hard to find decent, REAL bagels - not whatever that is they serve up at DuDo's. THIS is the place. Reminds me of my favorite Delis & bagel shops back in NJ. Even that distinctive "deli smell". Great, friendly service too. This place has the best bagel around! We come from Milford to get their sandwiches! We love the Cesar wrap for lunch!

I used to visit J&J a couple times per week when I lived in Georgetown. I have not been in a couple of years. Apparently it is under new ownership and has gone downhill. I ordered a ham egg and cheese on a toasted salt bagel. The bagel had no salt on it. Not s speck. And the sandwich was over priced at $6.75. Customer service also was not good. Stopped by to get some breakfast. I got a toasted everything bagel which was pretty good, but not amazing. It was filled with sun dried tomato cream cheese which was just OK as well. The owners are super nice though and they have a lot of variety so check them out! read more
