This was my first time trying this place, and I was genuinely excited because my aunt and I were grabbing breakfast before getting our nails done. We went through the drive-thru, and it took a while before anyone even noticed we were there. The woman who took our order was very nice, so no complaints about her, but the wait afterward was pretty long for a drive-thru. What really disappointed me was the food. My eggs had pieces of eggshell in them, the bacon was so chewy it was basically not edible, and then I found a hair in my bagel. That completely ruined my appetite. By the time I noticed, we were already far from the shop, so I couldn't even go back. I really wanted to enjoy this place since it was my first visit, but the experience just wasn't good. read more

We tried the bagels and although they were fresh and had good flavor, they were more bready than chewy like true bagels are. They did a good job with the toppings that we got on ours. And I definitely will go back to try the sandwiches and salads which looked very good. read more

So good we came for breakfast 2 days in a row. We ordered egg and cheese bagel sandwiches, one in an Old Bay bagel and one on a jalapeño bagel. We also had a side of potatoes. We came here about noon on a Wednesday. My wife searched the previous day to find places in the area we should check out and this place rose to the top. The outside of the building appears well maintained but we did think it was little odd that we drove from a paved parking lot area next door into a gravel parking lot area, not important but interesting. Inside the space is small and cozy with no more than 6 to 10 tables with an order counter and kitchen in the back. We went up to the counter and checked out the menu board behind. My wife decided to get a breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese on a jalapeno bagel). I chose the Texas Round Up (hot roast beef, cheddar cheese, fried onions, bbq sauce on a kaiser roll). Our sandwiches were ready a short time later and came wrapped and ready to go in a paper bag. We opened them in our car as we got ready to go. They both looked really tasty. The best salad to be had in Seaford is Davelli's. The ingredients are very fresh, and the makeup of each salad is a tasty combination. A great presentation as well. Service is good and quick. On the suggestion of other yelpers I thought I'd try this place, I must say I was quite disappointed, I don't think they were fresh bagels and if they were they definitely were not water bagels, they were very very dry kind of like a roll not like a bagel, the soup was good I'll give them that but the place was also pretty dirty every table had crumbs on it from the previous person that sat there, it looks like it was an old fast food joint, the service was good but one and done for me read more

I grew up in north jersey so I am a bagel person and I know my bagels. That being said I like the bagels here, their sandwiches are pretty solid and you'll get a good breakfast for a good price. However, in no way shape or form should you come here if you are in a rush. They are in my opinion (again being from north jersey where it takes you 3 mins to come in order and walk out with a bagel) extremely slow. I have waited almost 5 mins at a drive through window to even be acknowledged and another 10 mins before I get one sandwich made. The other downside is their items. They are out of a lot of times and bagels at weird times during the day, so if you want something specific they may not have it. The ambiance is what you would expect for a little bagel cafe and it is always clean. Overall as I said the food is good, if you are willing to wait and get something maybe a little more basic you won't be disappointed in what you eat. Placing an order over the phone might help if you are looking for more specific items in bagels or lox and cream cheese and so on. All that to say, check em out for yourself! read more

A lovely local cafe! Their food is excellent, and the staff are kind! I don't go often, as they close quite early, but when I go I usually get a sandwich or a pizza bagel (which you can see in my picture), with a frozen cappuccino or spiced chai tea. The pizza bagel is delicious, and you can get any bagel you want as the base (I recommend getting it with the garlic bagel). If it wasn't for the early closing time and the slightly high prices, I'd give it five stars! A note: They give you a pickle with every sandwich or bagel you order. If you're in Seaford, you must try Davelli's. This is such a treat! In a town without a lot of local options, this locally owned bakery / cafe is a real delight. It's got a cozy little interior where you can grab a sandwich and cup of coffee with friends and sit and chat for hours. The service is great and everyone was very friendly. And the food was top-notch! I had a Caprese sandwich, which was a special, and it was delicious. The rest of my group had a variety of salads and sandwiches, all of which everyone was very pleased with. This place puts Panera to shame. Definitely try Davelli's! read more

First off their bagels are the best my co worker brings them for us often. However when I walked in and ordered a turkey sandwich to go I spent majority of my lunch break waiting while they had casual conversations. I was standing right there with my ticket and not once did any of them say a word. The girl who took my order came out and whispered something to the other girl who finally called my order but not I still didn't get an apology for the wait. The BEST place in Sussex county to eat. When you see and taste the quality you won't complain about the prices, which are not bad at all when you compare it to a new york or new jersey deli. I highly recommend their peanut butter cookies, and Boston creme muffins. They also have the most delightful Belgian waffles I have ever had. They make fresh batter daily (I frequent them often) and one day i place an order and the owner came and told me that the batter wasn't up to his standards and he bought me breakfast! I pass this place many times when I have to ride up to seafood and I'm so glad I stopped. What a nice little place this is. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy and the people are super friendly. I got a cappuccino, which was the best I'd had in a long time, and a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. The croissant was flaky and buttery and very fresh, I could tell they used quality thick cut bacon and fresh " real " eggs. Yes some of the food is good, but some of it is disappointing, I guess you take your chances. I ordered a Caesar salad, and asked for extra croutons. They up-charged 50 cents. Which kind of surprised me since their prices are already just barely this side of reasonable. I order Caesar salad ALL the time. I ALWAYS ask for extra croutons. I have NEVER been charged extra, until now. So, $6.49 for some OK lettuce with 2 packages of salad dressing. And I think that their breakfast sandwiches are greasy. I want to like this place but......A little pricey ($8.75) for a sandwich, chips and a drink. Decent sized sandwich, good pastrami. Everything bagel was definitely day old, very tough. Overall tasty.
