Stopped in for ice cream with friends one Sunday evening. I was surprised to see a whole display of company branded merchandise for sale including tshirts and hats, some with some pretty funny sayings. The restaurant itself was pretty empty, but all of the open tables were clean. I asked for two scoops of an espresso crunch ice cream flavor they had available and the portion size was fair for the price. The ice cream tasted fresh and creamy. They definitely had a good selection of flavors to choose from that were more traditional, some fruit flavors, chocolatey ones, and colorful ones for the kids. I'll come back next time to try a burger. read more

Food is good, but check your order, because after 3 visits through the drive-thru, I have yet to get a correct order. Unfortunately, to find the mistakes, you have to unwrap everything. I don't mind paying extra for some toppings, but I expect them to actually be on the item.... so... the lesson here, is... eat-in or get ripped off. read more

Stopped in while on a roadtrip. Cool alternative to the BK across the street. Had fries, cheese fries, split- grilled hot dog & grilled chicken sandwich. Fries were hot, salty & crispy. Hot dog was a nice size & my tween gobbled it up. Loved my chicken sandwich, it tasted very fresh & like real food. The breast was small- the only complaint. The bun was grilled- yes! The only negative- cheese fries. I didn't even try them, it looked like lukewarm whiz glopped on it. Others ate it out of desperation, but agreed it wasn't very good. Surprised considering the higher quality of the other foods. If they're not going to make the low-quality whiz HOT, then at least upgrade to a better product, or ( better yet) melt real cheese on it! read more

Great burgers and fries. Laurel location was clean, fast and friendly. Double cheeseburger fries and drink combo $12.99. Much cheaper and as good or better than five guys. The same order at five guys is over $19. Try the smash sauce, it's like Big Mac sauce. This place is a winner. Would definitely go again. read more

The good is pretty good for places in laurel and given the choices. I wouldn't go here for like a date or anything. Atmosphere isn't really super welcoming. Solid spot for delicious food and friendly service. My husband and I stopped en route to VA beach and had to spend a few minutes taking in the menu (so many good options). I opted for the grilled chicken filet (with a few toppings from their extensive list) and Old Bay seasoned fries (amazing) while my other half took advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a burger with chili cheese fries and a malt shake. This place was a big surprise for a fast food establishment.. When you walk in and get in line there's ice cream cones or pints. I've tried burgers (awesome) ,chicken tenders ( awesome ) Fish sandwich (not bad) . When you order you tell them what you want on your sandwich and it's made to order. The burgers have that crisp coating you can only get cooked on a flat top. OMG mouth watering typing this. The chicken was lightly breaded but when you bite into the white chicken meat it was juicy. Fish was OK. LOL. Forgot about the fries. These are the good ones. I'm yelling GET THE FRIES!!! Now you have a full belly and GET THE ICE CREAM. It is fantastic. Cookies and cream...I just had a foodgasm. If I had to say anything negative is the boss. She needs to be friendlier..Never looks happy,Never smiles. Something not right there but she's not rude . I recently moved to Seaford, and this was my third and last time here. A new cashier took my order with the manager on her backside. I read my order back "I READ MY ORDER BACK". I don't even want to give this a review at all, the food was burnt, and hard and very unbeatable. the employees were very rude they didn't know what anything was it was just disgusting, I asked for a to-go box and this girl looked at me like I was stupid, and they were cleaning tables every 5 seconds and it got in everyone's food, I asked this man if he could tell them to stop spraying it so it couldn't get on my food and he just shrugged. What a solid little spot, super clean, well managed and friendly staff. The food was great, super fast and fresh. Their ice cream rivals anywhere in Sussex county and is made in house! I was honestly a bit surprised at the experience and had driven by many times before. The hope is they see they have it dialed in and can get a few more locations here at the beaches, one of these would KILL IT in Milford for sure! Stopped by after passing a number of times wanting to try. The burgers are made to order and you get to pick from a large range of toppings and sauces. I got a bacon cheeseburger combo, with their smash sauce, which is a less thousand island version of Big Mac special sauce. Burger was good, but a little dry, and a served on a large generic seasoned seed bun. Bun to burger ratio is a little too much, but overall it was still a good burger. The fries on the other hand were great, nice crisp to the fries and I ate them all without any condiments. Good burger, great fries, def earn a repeat trip. read more

Am I insane to give a 5 star review for a fast food place? Well, maybe, but that is a discussion for another forum...So, let me defend my choice: context is everything and I review based on location and category. Since this fast food place blows other fast food places out of the water, they deserve the rating of "great." I am not comparing them to The Laundry. The burgers are spectacular for what they are: smashed thin and crispy. And they are on good buns with choice of toppings. The fries are better than Thrashers. They don't have a big menu but what they do, they do very well. My only complaint is their decision to have the hideous Pepsi instead of Coke. However, since they have (REAL!) ice cream that they use to make (DELICIOUS!) milkshakes, I am a very happy camper. We never see big crowds here like we do at other more well known fast food places and we hope that it is only because word has not gotten out yet. I would say this place is similar to a 5-guys burger joint but with homemade icecream. Burgers were just as good but less greasy. Fries were boardwalk like fries with malt vinegar available if u want it. There was an upcharge to get a milkshake with homemade ice cream instead of machine soft serve but it was delicious. We both had the #1 Single Cheeseburger Combo (included fries and drink). Meat was good but the bun was a little too much for a single burger. Do give them credit for their made to order options including spicy mustard, fried onions and malt vinegar for the fries. Fries were definitely better than the burger. Don't usually try to eat at chain restaurants but there are only 300 or so Smash N' Dash Burgery's across the U.S. so I gave them a try when I saw this one. This place use to be so good but now they can't keep good help , last 3 times they have messed up my order and this last time (which will be my last ) the same blonde at drive through was not able to understand her screw up or not willing to listen to correct it and just shut the window , either way she has caused my family to never visit this establishment again 3 strikes your out , food is normally ok as long as they get it right , but it's hit or miss ... Well, I think this place was talked up by a local. So I couldn't wait to taste the menu. So I went and was attended to through the drive-through quickly and without any issues. The young girls that took my order were professional, personable, and respectful. But, when I got my meal Bacon, Cheese Burger there was no accouterments in the bag and I had to ask for them. I was so excited to get the boardwalk fries that I dug into them before pulling off and was not at all moved. They looked like Thrashers Boardwalk fries, but they were no Thrashers a matter of fact they were light, overcooked, and deflated. Thrasher fries are hardy and long. My burger though more than a mouth full was lackluster too! It was missing something. I narrowed it down to the beefy taste! I was eating a burger that didn't taste like a burger at all. Maybe the beef was cooked right out of it, so all I tasted was the pickles, mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup. This was a disappointing meal. I so wanted to enjoy a Whataburger-like taste and was left with No Smash, but a dash! I respect the employee's willingness to work and serve, but Smash N' Dash may need better food distributors to live up to "Smash" in their business name. read more
