Chico chai iced
Carla T.

Super cute cafe. They had a tall and healthy money tree. The staff was friendly. It was very busy early in the morning - but the line went by fast. I got a small choco chai. It was solid. The choco flavor was very minimal. I would have enjoyed if it stood out a bit more. The chai was average. The menu had so many delicious sounding items. I would come here again to try their different coffee flavors. I was very curious about their Mexican coffee menu.

Stopped by for a cappuccino. Price is reasonable, tastes just like what a cappuccino should taste like! Cute little cafe! Friendly staff.

Great place for your morning coffee and pastries! Lots of coffee options but their house roast is my favorite! Enjoy!

Breakfast burrito

Solid breakfast burrito, but the price is what really solidifies the rating. Just over half the price of most breakfast burritos in Rehoboth, gotta love it especially since it's not too small. Just doesn't come with a side, but yeah cafe a go go is cool and nice ambiance in there

I had breakfast Sunday morning in this place; I ordered a pumpkin pie latte with almond milk and a breakfast sandwich. They had a wide variety of different coffees and breakfast options. Loved the atmosphere and coffee was delicious. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop to anyone:)

Azteca mocha

Small cozy spot right by the board walk. The barista was nice and helped me with my questions. I got the azteca mocha and it was good! If I'm near the board walk and want a good coffee, I go here.

Cafe cubano and coconut mocha latte

I stopped by here earlier today with my with my wife and in laws for our morning coffees. We had ended up in Rehobeth Beach that morning and whenever I consulted Yelp for the best coffee place around, Cafe A Go-Go came up. So we walked the block and half over to it. The inside of this place was somewhat tiny with a little bit of seating, some whole bean coffees for sale (and coffee sacks underneath) and then some of their merch. In addition to that they had some display cases with pastries and others with things like tiramisu and cannolis. Finally their coffee menu was on the wall behind them and was quite impressive in its selection. After looking over the menu I decided on ordering a double cafe cubano for myself and then a double iced coconut mocha latte for my wife. The worker checked with me to ensure I knew what I was ordering for myself was just the espresso shots and I did. Our drinks were ready a couple of minutes later and I was on my way with mine coming in a cute little cup and my wife's in something bigger. Whenever I tried my drink it was strong and smooth as expected with some sweetness to it. However, as I got near the bottom the drink i could taste granules of sugar. Then, the last little bit was a black sludge mixture of sugar and espresso. It was almost as if they had put way too much sugar in for the size of the liquid and that isn't something I have had in my Cubanos before. My wife did enjoy her coconut mocha latte and was at first confused by the real coconut in it, but after realizing what it was, enjoyed it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While I wasn't impressed by my drink, my wife enjoyed hers and I would be interested in trying some of their other unique things, especially their toasted coconut crunch coffee.

Great place for delicious coffee. My family and I went today for an afternoon pick me up. My son, Kenneth, and I had red eye iced coffees in the large variety. Simply delish. So if you're running slow slow, scoot on down to Cafe a Go Go. You won't me disappointed!

Iced Mexican coffee

I've been to this coffee shop a few times over the years, and the customer service is in need of improvement. I went here recently, and this time saw Mexican coffee on the menu that I hadn't tried before. The menu hanging on the wall behind the counter only listed the name of the drink and not what was in it, so I asked the employee taking my order. The man looked bothered, told me there's a list here while half-heartedly pointing to a list on the counter that details many different offerings. The interaction could have been more pleasant if he took the time to make a connection with the customer, and to let me know how they prepare their Mexican coffee. The Mexican coffee tastes like it had hints of chocolate and cinnamon, and it was really creamy and delicious. It's a shame because I really did enjoy the coffee and would have rated it higher, but I feel conflicted after having visited here several times and the customer service never being great. If the customer service improves, this would be a great place to unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Breakfast sandwiches were dry, bacon was cardboard and seemed like the bagel was steamed, not toasted. Iced coffee was water.

I got a matcha latte and wasn't asked what kind of milk which I thought was odd. They ran out of cold brew as well and the iced americano was mid. When we walked in, there was an off putting smell, not sure if was due to the bathrooms being right there, nonetheless it was off putting. Would love to see them extend their breakfast items longer, albeit it'd be way past actual breakfast time. Was hoping to grab a burrito!

I ordered a chai latte and the Rise Up breakfast burrito. My burrito came out in about 10 minutes, but my chai latte took 30 minutes. I understand it's peak season at a beach resort and staffing can be a challenge, but if an establishment cannot provide reasonable timing for orders, they should limit the number of customers they take at once. They continued accepting orders despite clearly being unable to keep up. The gentleman behind me waited 25 minutes with his wife and three children before leaving after paying because he said the wait was "insane," and I agree. For $17.25 for a coffee and a breakfast burrito, the experience was not worth it. Highly recommend avoiding this location during the season. Very disappointed. They can do better.

"Did it look like that to you?" "No, it was a pokey little hole." So, I double checked my notes to see if I was looking at the wrong place. Nope. Checked the map yelp provides. Yeo, that was the place. I went to and wow was my experience different. My wife and I found it looking down a small side alley, the sort that has charming little shops off the main drag. The place was small and dark, and words like 'charming old-style drifted in my mind. and 'old school local place, what coffee shops were like before Starbucks.' There was a high counter and a couple of people sitting off to the side, talking around a small table. and it went downhill from there. As we stood there one of the people sitting bellowed out a woman's name and said 'customers!" I would later find out this guy was the owner/manager but he seemed more involved in his conversation while a small older woman, I'd noticed hauling trash bags and the like, seemed to be his sole employee, who was also supposed to serve food. It was a small thing but it sort of stuck in my mind as to 'why didn't he help?' my wife and I each got a coffee and they were only about $3 each. OK good. The milk was in a fridge in the corner, and this is where things went south. I poured it in and it was off. We were several days past the 'use by' date and it was not viable. I point this out and the owner from his chair said 'oh, get another.' and moved behind the counter. I thought he was getting me a fresh cup but he seemed surprised to see me standing there when he turned around a couple of minutes later. I guess he was refreshing HIS cup but meant I could open another container of milk in the fridge to pour different milk into the cup I'd already added sour milk to. "Oh do you want another cup of coffee?" At this point I'd had enough. I wasn't going to make a fuss, it was only $3, but I wasn't going to stand there any longer. I left. Between the dingy setting, yelling at employee(s), sour milk and an inability to see a problem with this I honestly wondered if I was being punked. My wife, who took her cup black, said she found it too sweet but after the parade of what I saw, I am beyond surprised at the large number of good reviews here. I'd like to say maybe I got them on a bad day but with the pictures being at such variance form my experience, wow. And I looked very closely before I wrote all this and could see how those would be the same place but just, a long time before I got there.

The results are super fresh right out of the hot oil bath doughnuts full a warmth and strong flavors to excite your tongue. No wonder it is an institution in this part of the world. Their colors are mostly deep pastel, matched by strong flavors that really stand out. Perhaps because we stopped by on a snowy morning in early December, our box of a half dozen warmed my hands as I walked back to the car parked right in front. We drove a ways before opening the lavender box to sample the first ones. We found them soft and friable, so that they were difficult to pick up in one piece. They fell apart on touching, requiring us to remove them carefully to avoid further crumble onto car seats and floor. Should have grabbed more napkins. Still, despite the minor mess, they did excite the tongue due to their strong flavors and uber freshness. Eaten with hot Java as washdown, it was self explanatory why they were so popular and had been around in the same location of Coastal Highway for decades. Ownership still makes and serves the doughnuts, and was happy to shoot the sh*t with this stranger while working the assembly line. These cake dough boys are the real deal. If you're into Duck Donuts and Krispy Kremes, Fractured Prune will definitely float your boat. 5 Sweet Stars
