Vector…read moreoffice staff were very kind and gave us the best quotes it's just the actual people who stuff that were worst. We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. Please note it was a very painful experience and no one deserves this kind of billing or nonsense

The two movers arrived exactly at the scheduled time listed in my agreement. They were friendly, professional, highly skilled, and incredibly efficient. I unexpectedly needed a few additional items boxed on moving day, and they handled everything without hesitation. Every item was packed and transported with great care. Nothing was broken, damaged, or missing. The move into my new space was just as smooth as the move out of my old one. They carefully followed all of the building's rules for elevator use, placed furniture exactly where I requested, and neatly stacked boxes in the appropriate rooms. What impressed me most was their professionalism and attention to detail. They communicated clearly throughout the process, regularly checked to make sure I didn't have any questions, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right. Before leaving, they removed all of the packing materials they had used and left both my old and new homes clean and tidy. The entire move stayed on schedule and was remarkably efficient. I honestly could not have been happier with how smoothly everything went. The two movers assigned to my move were truly exceptional--kind, courteous, hardworking, and diligent professionals who clearly take great pride in their work. Please extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to both of them. They made what could have been a stressful day remarkably easy, and I hope they know how much I appreciated their professionalism, care, and dedication. They are wonderful representatives of your company. Thank you for such an outstanding moving experience. I will absolutely use your services again for any future moves and will gladly recommend your company to friends, family, and colleagues.

I can personally attest to a positive experience with my move from Los Angeles, CA to Italy. Nathan was a wonderful help on the US side. Incredibly communicative and attentive. The Schumacher team is also the only one of all of the companies I inquired with that came to do an in person survey. I felt they were very informative about the process and transparent, answering all of my questions and really making sure I felt confident. The team that came out and packed up our things were nothing short of professional. We had been given a general timeline on when to expect our things and had regular contact and updates as our things were set to arrive and go through customs here in Italy. The whole process was incredibly smooth. They provided me with realistic expectations all the way through, and especially with any possible end-of-journey costs that could come up so I was able to be prepared. Everything arrived safe and sound, with no damage and nothing broken. The team who delivered our things worked quickly and had everything delivered to our home by early afternoon! If life every takes me overseas again I will absolutely be turning back to Schumacher after this positive experience!

Absolute nightmare experience. Avoid the Los Angeles branch at all costs!…read more I was originally quoted $5,630 to ship two cars in a single container from Arizona to Germany, starting December 19th. The plan was to route them through Houston, Texas. Instead, without my permission, Schumacher shipped them to Los Angeles. When I demanded answers, they claimed a salvage title meant the car couldn't ship from Texas--a claim I highly doubt. This unauthorized rerouting caused massive delays and endless hidden fees. While in LA, they held my cars hostage until I paid an unexpected $7,765 for an "extra customs checkup." It took over five full months just to get the cars to Europe. Once in Germany, Schumacher tacked on another surprise fee of $3,931.40 just to release the vehicles, completely ignoring their original quote of around $520 per car. To make matters worse, their German destination partner, SATS Group GmbH, was completely unprofessional, clueless, and a nightmare to deal with. They tried to force an absurd, double-taxation customs scheme on me regarding my final delivery to Bulgaria. I paid triple what I was originally quoted, suffered through a 5+ month delay, and dealt with shocking unprofessionalism. I will never use Schumacher Cargo Logistics again, especially the Los Angeles branch. Be warned!

I finally got a job in NYC, so I had to move to Jersey City. Being new to the area, I didn't have any idea of the movers in the Philly area. After doing some checking on yelp and google reviews, I came across Albo moving. Their reviews were really good, and they were close to my parent's house where I was living at the time. I reached out via cell and Alex responded the same day asking for more info. I texted it all to him. The next day he emailed me a quote and laid out all the info. The pricing was very fair, and based on his quick response time and great reviews, I decided to hire them. I am very glad that I did. My move went extremely well. I hired 2 movers and a 20-foot truck. Eugene and Serg were great. They clearly communicated their arrival time and kept me updated via text. There were 2 pick up locations - my storage unit and my parent's house. They had everything from storage wrapped and packed into the truck in 2 hours. Then we went to my parents for a few more things, we were out of there in under an hour. They drove to Jersey City and then had the entire truck unpacked and moved in and all the packing material cleaned up in 3 hours. It was an extremely hot day and the guys worked really hard and very quickly. I could not be more grateful to Alex and his team for the excellent job, and I would definitely hire them again for my next move. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for hard working, honest, reliable and dependable movers

They get that because when you leave a bad review, they offer money to take it down and leave a good one. We moved 18 months ago. When my husband left a poor review, they said they would pay to have it removed. He accepted without thinking. We had hardly unpacked all the boxes. We knew all the kitchen stuff was missing. But after opening everything, the truth became clear. I am still heartbroken about what is missing. But there is nothing I can do now except warn others! Don't do it, go somewhere else. Better yet, do your own box counting system. Don't trust theirs.

DO NOT USE AMPLE MOVING! I can't express how terrible this experience was. I have used multiple…read moremovers throughout my life, and this was by far the worst. The lack of communication, transparency, accountability, and empathy was unbelievable. Everything seemed to come back to, "I can't guarantee this," "It's not my fault," or "You have to understand..." To start, I didn't have ANY furniture aside from ONE chair and this move cost me over $1,100! I requested an afternoon move around 12:00. Allen asked if I could do 11:00, and I explained I couldn't because I had a meeting from 11-12 that I could not move. He said he would note that I wasn't available until 12. I understood that he couldn't guarantee an exact move time. What I did NOT expect was for them to arrive at 7:15 PM. My elevators were reserved from 12-2 at the origin and 2-5 at the destination. At 1:21, I texted asking for an ETA because I had been sitting there ready to go, because he said they would ONLY text when they arrive, so I hadn't even eaten. I was trying to figure out if I had time to grab lunch, work, etc. At 2:42, Allen told me they would arrive between 4:30-6:00. What really bothers me is that I later learned from the movers that they had told Allen there was NO WAY they could arrive between 4:30-6:00 and that it would be closer to 7:00. They were even instructed NOT to contact me directly to tell me when they were actually coming. At 5:43, Allen texted that they would arrive in 53 minutes. Again, not accurate. I could have worked, eaten, or planned my entire day differently if someone had simply communicated honestly with me. Allen explained that he had combined my move with another move that took longer than expected. I understand moving companies combine moves. But coordinating those moves and managing the timing is the responsibility of the moving company, not the customer. When I said this, he actually told me that wasn't his job. He said his job was making sure the move was completed efficiently, which didn't happen either. They finally arrived at 7:15 PM! 7 hours and 15 minutes after my elevator reservation began!!!! And they didn't finish at the destination until approximately 10:30 PM. I asked for a discount. Allen told me he couldn't provide one and started explaining all the business reasons why: paying the movers, truck, materials, boxes, etc. That's what really irritated me. Those are the costs of running a business. The owner's responsibility to the customer is providing good service, communication, transparency and accountability when something goes wrong. He had every opportunity VERY early on to be honest, acknowledge how badly this was going, and diffuse the situation by offering a reasonable discount. Instead, his solution was adding another mover to make the move faster, which from my perspective meant another person I was expected to tip! He told me I don't HAVE to tip because tipping is based on service. But the "service" isn't just the physical labor. It includes HIS service too: scheduling, coordinating, communicating and managing the move, which he continued to disagree with. Eventually he offered me $50 off. I was livid by this offer and yelling. Not my finest moment. But after HOURS of this, I couldn't believe the complete lack of empathy. I told him there needed to be some compassion and humanity and that everything couldn't be about protecting his profits. Moving is stressful enough without spending seven hours wondering when your movers are actually going to arrive. And three days later, this STILL isn't over. They left one of my items in the van. I still don't have it. I was told they have it and that when they have another move in my area sometime in the NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS, they'll drop it off!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!
