I cannot recommend Tony and his crew enough! Everything from the initial quote set up to the unloading day was as easy as ever. My husband and I needed movers for our long distance move from New Jersey to North Carolina, and so we spent quite some time looking up different companies and getting moving quotes but honestly the biggest issue out there is the whole third party broker non-sense/talking to a remote customer service agent/or just getting way too complicated with initiating a quote. Tony's was like a walk in the park which is EXACTLY what you need when you have a million other things to do. I literally called, spoke directly to Tony or Jina (Someone In his office) and told him what we have/he told us what we needed, and a few minutes later, BOOKED including sending us our contract with insurance right away. Some important things that was TREMENDOUS to us: 1. Through Tony we were able to book a DIRECT move. That was really important to us, every other company gave us like a 2-3 week window with long distance, no guarantee of which day, and worst of all, had to share the truck with lots of other movers. 2. Accurate pricing. They charged us exactly what they told us. In the pas we had experienced several moving companies nickel-and-diming over every piece of tape they use. You feel like you are being taken advantage of in those situations. That was not the case this time. There were no fees or other expenses tacked on at the end. The guys he sent were absolutely the kindest and most professional guys ever. Went straight to work, were super quick and efficient and best of all, knew what they were doing. Anyone that knows the anxiety that comes with movers throwing your stuff around and hitting precious walls know exactly what I'm talking about! They bought appropriate packing material just like they said, and wrapped our furniture like real professionals (my husband and I were actually watching in awe lol) they even were so kind to accommodate a sudden surprise that the freight elevator in our NC apt was terribly far from the apartment, but they didn't let that show on their faces. They were polite and professional the entire time! Honestly things tend to get so complicated with online searches these days, just save yourself a ton of time and pick a place that removes all third party crap. I have used Tony's Moving for to moves in the past five months (I did not expect to be moving the second time). First off, I have moved eleven tints in the past ten years, so although I am used to the process, I dread the lead up and the actual day. I was recommended to speak with Tony through a friend and decided to give it a shot. First off, Tony came over to assess the apartment to make sure he and his crew knew the exact contents. This is when I knew I was dealing with professionals as to many times movers hear two bed rooms and I tell them I have alot and they show up with too small of a truck. Tony quoted me a great price and I was just waiting for the day to come for some sort of trap to happen with hidden costs or that it took to long so they needed extra fees. Could not be farther from the truth. I received multiple emails confirming the appointment and pick up and moving in destination and times prior to the move and the day of, they were their 15 mins early. Each man arrived and knew their task which was amazing and it was line clock work, a will oiled machine. Now, the moving out had an elevator but the new apartment (1st move) was on the third floor. Don't ask me how, but they finished our faster than the move out to the point I had to ask them to wait so my wife was able to get over to the new place with the money. I was so impressed and the professionalism, the dedication to ensure no l all items were cared for and true workmanship for job that I was actually excited to use them again. I would be happy to talk with anyone about my experiences as this is a top notch team. These guys were absolutely incredible, and I'll be recommending them as long as I can! First, Jina met with me at my storage units to get a better idea of what we needed (crew and truck-wise). No guessing, no humming and hawing- she knew exactly what they'd need as soon as she saw it. She also gave me a timeline on the spot, and the quote she gave me NEVER changed, which is awesome. Speaking of the timeline- they have their moving guys down to a SCIENCE. They told me it would take three hours to unload the units- and they texted me three hours later, informing me they werw on their way to my new house. They met my SIL there and got to work (after having a break, which I applaud- they treat their workers wonderfully!) How they got two massive trucks up my tiny new street is beyond me, and I'd give them another star just for that. Sorcery. They worked with my SIL in unloading into my house, and put the boxes in such strategic places, the house didn't feel cluttered when I finally got there. Organized! Boxes!! Such a thoughtful process, and it made the difference between insanity or otherwise. Again, just on this note, I'd give them another star if I could. According to my SIL, they tried their absolute dangest to get my couch up the stairs, and if it wasn't for the fact that it ended up being an impossible task, they would have figured it out. If you give them a plan, they will do their best to follow. No tossing stuff into random rooms, no leaving a mess anywhere- again, SO organized. Use these guys. Moving itself is a stressful event in life in addition to packing and unpacking stuff. But I am lucky enough to have found Tony's moving in NJ. I used Tony's moving two years ago and this time I decided to use him again without any hesitation. There are many moving company horror stories out there and probably everyone has at least one or two terrible experiences, but including me, but not with Tony's moving. My moving day was July 27 from Roseland to Clifton NJ. From the first contact with Mr. Tony, he always answered promptly and honestly and very accommodating. His price may not be the cheapest in town, but I would not be fooled by bait and switch or those two men and a truck by hour anymore. Tony's moving is trustworthy to the end. His staffs are all upbeat and courteous and caring. This time my team is led by Phillip and two other men. Phillip called a day before to introduce himself and was on time. I have nothing to do while they load the truck, so I get to watch how they move stuff. They were using infinite amount of plastic shrink wrap and blanket to protect fragile items carefully. Unloading was also efficient and careful not to damage my new house wall or stuff. I ended up giving him generous tips for their impressive moving techniques, courtesy, and happy mood. I cannot use any other company anymore after these two moves with Tony's moving and Phillip's great spirit. We move around quite a bit and Tony's Moving company was for sure the best one out there. We read so many reviews and all of Tony's were positive. We ended up moving from our apartment into a new house. Scott's team (Tony has a few teams) ended up coming early to pack up the boxes. I loved that they were early instead of late. They packed up everything with such precise care. All my glasses were covered with TONS of blankets and wrapped in tape so nothing would break. Then they disassembled my bed/couch/dressers/baby crib/ etc. All of this was done quickly. They even helped me pack a little and tape up boxes. I ordered a small moving truck and OMG I can't even believe how well they packed it. They ended up with more room left over and he asked if he can help take more boxes!! Who does that? That's so amazing that they are so kind to take more than what I projected. Also, they were so good with carry so many boxes down so many flights of stairs. They each could carry 2-3 big boxes on their backs! Talk about fast moving. So when they drove to our new place they unpacked everything an reassembled all our big items, not one thing was broken or scratched. I really enjoyed working with these guys. From the very start they were very communicative. I had to move bedroom furniture, TV, tv stand glass coffee table and boxes from NJ to Virginia. A person came to see my things and spoke with Tony to give me a smaller truck and same day delivery and gave such a reasonable estimate. It was much better than other companies I had gotten quotes from plus their reviews were nice so I decided to go with them. They disassembled and reassembled my bed within that price. On moving day they came on time and were very efficient in wrapping my furniture and putting everything in the truck. The guy who disassembled my bed did it carefully and reassembled it on arrival as well very nicely. They were all very careful with my stuff. I had made colored notes on each box to indicate which room they would go and they followed that on arrival. All my stuff came in good condition. I was very happy using them especially when I was so nervous to use a moving company to go interstate. There were no hidden fees at the end. This was by far the most efficient and stress-free moving experience in my nearly 12 years in the NYC Metro Area. Tony and team handled my move in the Edgewater, NJ area. Although the move was only 10 minutes away, and I was moving a very minimalist 1-bedroom apartment, the team of 3 men were incredible. They were on time, prepared, and incredibly friendly. Tony's team handled my fragile items with extreme care and wrapped all of my furniture. Once we arrived at my new building, the team unwrapped everything and placed my furniture in the areas in my home where I chose--very full-service. And after the men finished and left my new place, I was missing a bag of my bed linen. Tony came back to help me find it, not before he met me at my last building to search for it--turns out that's where it was. Tony brought the bag to my new place, going completely out of his way after I already paid and tipped the team--he didn't have to do that. Good communication and quick response during the consultation stage and very professional movers on the moving day. We signed up for a packing plus moving (dissembling and assembling included) package and it was very reasonably priced, after a bit of negotiation. On the moving day, they actually made a mistake of sending the crew to NYC (we lived in Jersey City), but they soon corrected the course and because the crew were out so early in the morning they made it back to Jersey City on time. I was particularly impressed by how meticulous the movers were when they helped me assemble my futon. My futon was a bit confusing and they could have just done their bare minimum but they tried multiple ways and insisted on assembling it in perfection. They also took all the trash with them and left us with nothing but just boxes full of our stuff. They are the best moving company that I ever had. Very reliable, no hidden cost, handles with cares, professional, on-time, etc. I received a fixed rate during the onsite visit by Jina Lee from Tony's moving. You don't have to worry about the hidden or surprise cost. Some of the moving companies do not give you fixed rate as they add some kinds of fees at the end. But, with Tony's, you don't have to worry about the hidden cost. Also, you will get the answers from Ms. Lee almost instantly, if you send her any questions. Also, my building is very strict and it requires a certificate of insurance (COI) with a high coverage requirement. Tony Moving just handles the COI smoothly by contacting the building management and insurance company with no issue. Jay and two other movers came and they worked really hard and cares. They handles my furnitures with a great care and even volunteered to clean up or fix the issues. Definetely, I will use Tony Moving Again in the future. read more

Tonys Moving made my move 100 miles away so stress free and affordable. Mr. Kims crew and Mr. Philips crew came on time with 2 trucks as promised. The crew of 7 total literally wrapped furniture, disassembled bigger furniture and loaded all our stuff out of a 4 bedroom house in 3 hours! A couple of hours later, they came to the new 4 bedroom house and unloaded and reassembled furniture in 2 hrs! They put everything where we wanted, and never once complained. After doing price comparisons between 1. Renting a truck myself and having friends and family help with multiple trips, 2. PODS, 3. Numerous moving company quotes that were double the price, Tony came out to be the best bang for the price by far. Tony even called to follow up to see how everything was going during the move. Tony's Moving was great! We moved about 30 miles from North to Central New Jersey. I had called nearly half a dozen moving companies but as soon as I talked to Tommy, I felt that he was going to take care of us. I was nervous because I thought the price was too good to be true. But I was assured that I was not going to regret it. On the day of the move, the movers were very prompt, on time, and packed very quickly. They did not waste any time. They wrapped the furniture, and even the loose items that weren't in boxes. I was impressed how quickly everything went. When we got to the new house, they unpacked and placed the boxes and furniture in their respective rooms. It was very professional. I did not anticipate it would be so easy. I recently used Tony Moving Service to move a full size stone bed from my neighbor town. Usually, a fee for moving a stone bed varies by moving companies and it could be very expensive. After calls were made to several different moving companies, I called Tony Moving Queens and I was offered very pleasing and reasonable fee for its service. When a moving date was confirmed, another call was made to Tony to schedule their service. He accommodated my request on the same day evening. Although I was not at home to receive the stone bed, when I got home, the stone bed was beautifully set up without any troubles in its function. What a great company. From start to finish they are top notch. They quoted me a price that beat the competition BIG TIME. The three movers led by team leader Tony arrived on time and loaded my belongings with care and attention to detail. It was snowing and they were always conscience about not dragging in mud or dirt. They answered all questions, were polite, and took care when carrying items and loading the truck. Had everything finished in 2hrs. The same crew drove 4 hrs to deliver my belongings and were just as great with the unload. Putting everything where instructed to and assembling items when asked. They were just and careful with unloading as they were with loading. I was impressed with the positive spirit of the wholr crew especially after a long drive. Ours was an in-state move about 90 minutes away. We got the full packing service as well as an extra pickup at a 10x10 storage shed. We also had a last second curveball affecting our destination and had to change our move date. The office was so incredibly helpful and went to great lengths to accommodate our situation and in doing so really saved our entire move. From there the team was excellent, they came and packed and loaded in one day - working under strict rules and limited access hours dictated by our building management. They delivered the next day and the team both days was extremely professional and efficient as well as being just as friendly and considerate to any instructions or last second requests we had. We have two toddlers and the move was inherently difficult and chaotic but the team made everything within their control as easy and helpful as possible for us. Great move experience. read more

I have hired them multiple times since 2006. To different States, to the center of the city, to the newly built leasing apartment with lots of restrictions and requirement, to condo and to the house in suburban area, in all those different and difficult situations outcome always consistently great. They never turned me down. Only one pot was broken for the numerous times of moving but it was my fault rather than their mishandling. Philip's team was great in the latest moving. I had a serious collection of dishes and my husband has many books. They work was flawless, excellent and professional. Neighbors who watched our moving for me were so impressed. It is really hard to find out the professional movers who ask reasonable price. I was lucky to find out one and have stuck to the good one. Those I recommended this company to did the same. I never thought I would ever rate a mover as they are mostly just mediocre. However, Tony's moving was just awesome! Way better than I would have ever thought for a mover. Tony was courteous and accommodating. His staff were very professional, quick, efficient, courteous, arrived on time and clearly very experienced in moving. Not to mention, very reasonable. What more can you ask from a mover? I moved from rental apt to a condo. When my condo wasn't ready and lease was up, he was able to store my stuff in his storage facility way cheaper than extending the lease on my rental apartment. I moved several times over the years and had several different movers before. None of them even came close to Tony's staff. I would definitely use them again and recommend to friends. I moved from east Brunswick NJ to Queens NY. Filled up the entire truck. The crew of 4 was punctual and efferent. Started at 9 and done by 5. They would have finished by 4 if they weren't stuck in traffic for an hour. My stuff had to go 2 and a half flights up without elevator. But no complaints from the crew. I paid what I was quoted. No extra charges at the end unlike a lot of other moving companies. I gave the crew a very good tip as I was very satisfied with their work. The owners and the administrative staff was very courteous and responsive. I chaThis is a 5 star company and I will recommend them to anyone who needs a reference. I moved out of Jersey City on a rainy day -- December 30, 2016 to be exact. My husband and I looked through quite a few options before landing on Tony's. He was very flexible in making such an inconvenient date work for us, while other companies were eager to upcharge as soon as they heard our requested date. We communicated with Tony via email; he was very responsive and accommodating as we were not only moving out of Jersey City, but also making a pit stop at my parents' house to pick up a Korean stone bed, heavy marble and everything. Tony set us up with Scott, whose crew not only arrived early, but also took care to double-wrap some of our items for added measure.
