Great rate, lower than the other companies I researched (I called 10 in total). First time using a moving company, 5th time mover. From Morris Plains to East Rutherford. Laura and the guys were really nice and friendly. Also, SUPER Strong. Thank you for moving me during this heat, I appreciate everything! I had a glass table tap, they wrapped it nicely, so it was protected. No charge. I'm a teacher, so the amount of boxes full of books was more than I expected. They handled it with ease. My bed frame was taken apart and put together right where I wanted it. Also, this was a VERY quick move! They are super efficient. Thank you!!! read more

Moving is so stressful and to top it off, moving on short notice. I randomly called the company and immediately they assured me, don't stress, we got this. The moving team of Laura and group were prompt, efficient and most importantly super accommodating! They made the entire process so simple. They literally moved a 2 bedroom apartment with living room, kitchen and bathrooms into a home in less than 2 hours. If that's not efficient, nothing is! I would highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend them, and ask for Laura! read more

Great service very nice crew got me in and out so fast I highly recommend flat fee moving

We used Flat Fee Moving for our move out of an apartment in Saddle Brook to our new house in Oakland, their crew was incredibly efficient, professional and fast. As stressful as moving can be, it was made a lot easier with Flat Rate. I couldn't recommend them more to anyone moving in northern NJ. read more

Kudos to Vanessa, Laura and the crew for taking a load off my mind. Needed delicate appliances moved from one location to another. Made all the arrangements through Vanessa and then received a call the day before asking if it was possible to move the appointment earlier (YES, PLEASE, I NEED TO GET THIS OUT OF THE WAY). Laura called me bright and early, they were here and the job was done in less than an hour. (When she heard my dog barking from a closed room, she asked if she could give her a treat---she said she always brings treats for owners with pets)!!! How neat is that? Will definitely recommend and call them again if I have other moving needs of my own. Oh, and I called about three other places before calling Flat Fee... they all wanted considerably (some up to double what FF charged) more for this very uncomplicated move. (yes, some of the fees are 'a la carte' but that was explained well in advance and would still work out less expensive than other quotes). Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! read more

Loved the flat fee moving guys. They are professional and support fast. They gave me a very good rate which was a lot better than other places. I highly recommend them! I moved from Jersey City to Fort Lee read more

We used flat fee moving to move our 2 1/2 bedroom apartment to a house in Princeton. Laura and the crew give us a call before they arrived and they arrived on time. They were very polite, very efficient, and loaded up the truck from the top floor of the house taking care of our belongings. At the new house they unloaded the truck just as quickly, putting the right boxes in the right rooms and reassembling everything very diligently. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to move. They were dependable and very efficient. read more

I called FFM on a recommendation from a friend on Facebook. I had a really bad experience 2.5 years ago w/ another moving company and wanted to know that I wasn't going to be scammed for a second time. The quote I was given over the phone was exactly what I paid. Since the images of my listing was online the owner and I talked through each image and what would be going. After I was given a quote by FFM I called a few other places and nobody was able to do touch their price. Off to a great start! I then called them to confirm and we set the date. FFM called me to take a $100 deposit then I received another call the day before the move to confirm the time. They quoted between 2 & 4 pm. Perfect. More time for me to get everything finished in the morning before they arrived. They followed up the day of around 12:30 to confirm they would be arriving a little before 2 pm. Like clockwork Laura and her team (w/ 3 men) arrived about 1:50 pm. After a quick check of my things on their list they quickly started moving my boxes. I literally blinked and by 2:20 all of my boxes were on the truck. I literally couldn't believe it. They then started on the big items. Bedroom furniture, sofa. Entertainment center. Etc. They disassembled everything and wrapped each piece in blankets and or paper and taped them up. I was blown away by the care they took for my things not to mention how easy they were to work with and so very professional. Before I knew it was around 3:30/4 pm and we were heading to my new place. Once we arrived we did a quick walk through to decide what was going where and the next thing I knew, the truck was emptied. I have to say... this was such a pleasant experience with an extremely professional group of people. I couldn't be more grateful for the recommendation and I highly recommended FFM. As someone coming from a REALLY bad experience just 2.5 years ago as it is still so fresh in my mind; I know the difference... trust me! Both monetarily and professionally FFM hit it out of the park! If I ever move again (hope not it's a lot of work . My feet and body are not happy today the day after) They 100% without a doubt would get my business! Great job FFM! read more

Flat Fee Moving - Boxes to be moved - Movers Near Me - Elmwood Park, New Jersey

Great experience with Flat Fee Moving on a move from Fair Lawn to Union City. They were fast, friendly, and efficient on a hot summer day, and seemed unfazed by a less-than-ideal parking/unloading situation at the destination. Would hire them again and would recommend to anyone. read more

I hired Flat Fee to move me from Clifton, nj to Woodridge, ny. They did an awesome job from start to finish. Vanessa and Danny were very helpful setting it up. They showed up on time and got started right away. LAURA was so awesome.. she explained everything in detailed and was very friendly, helpful and courteous. She is definitely an asset to your company.. I'm sure you must know that!! The crew were great and fast and careful with my belongings. They did not charge me extra and stayed within the time frame quoted. I will recommend this company to everyone... you will not be disappointed. read more

Just when you feel that moving is so stressful, Flat Fee Moving company makes it all simple. I was able to contact them and receive a quote almost instantly. Laura and the guys were super professional and made the moving process easy for us. We used them for a commercial move and in the midst of this pandemic they were able to ensure safety before anything. Honestly a great company and I really want to thank Laura and her team for making this happen so smoothly. I definitely recommend them for your to go to moving company! read more

Laura, Henry, Francisco and Elmer were extremely helpful! Amazing Staff. I don't usually leave reviews, but this people deserves. Highly highly recommend this people. read more

The company did quote the cheapest rate of the companies I called. I do feel the name is deceptive. They actually charge for "extras" such as tape they used, They only allow for 3 hours and it took them 5 hours, an additional percentage for using a credit card, mattress wrapping, milage and gas. I was also told that the owner would take 10% if I added the tip on the bill. When it came down to it, my $700 "Flat fee" quote was over $1100. They were professional and did do a wonderful job. Nothing broke during the move. My previous Yelp review was made at the request of the crew, while they stood next to me when I wrote it. They had my belongings and I felt obligated to write the positive review. read more

They were early which is GREAT! The price is very reasonable and the team is friendly and professional. I will be using them again when I move to my forever home! read more

Laura and the guys were AMAZING!!!!! Efficient fast, and gentle with our home and all our belongings. I had called 5 moving companies and they were by far the most reasonable and easy to work with. Out of my whole moving process I wouldn't recommend my real estate agent, my lawyer, but YES YES YES TO FLAT FEE MOVING! THANK YOU for everything and for making the moving process for our first home as enjoyable as possible :) will always remember you guys! read more

Showed up on time, and moved us out so quickly! Everyone was so nice and helpful, and even made a stop so quickly! Laura and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I will continue to use them in the future. read more

Possibly one of the best movers we have come across. I dealt with Lizzie and Daniel to book and they were wonderful, fast to sort out paper work and most importantly the price was extremely reasonable for our one bed move as compared to other companies we checked out. On the day of the move there were 4 in total movers who were extremely professional and on time (they actually were 30 min early which was convenient as they used that time to wrap our items) they were quick and efficient. We were charged for an extra hour but we expected that given the fact that we had a complicated bed that they took apart and put back together in the new site. Overall we are extremely satisfied with their efficiency and would highly recommend them! read more

We hired Flat Fee Moving as they came highly recommend from a friend. When I called from a quote they were very friendly. Vanessa was very accommodating and did her best to find a time that worked with our schedule. Danny called 48 hrs before the move to confirm. The day of the move Linda and team called to let us know they were on their way. The team arrived on time and were ready to go. They were speedy and efficient as well as courteous. The movers work fast and they communicate with you effortlessly through out the process to make sure everything goes where it should be. Thank you again for making this move a experience great!! read more

Flat Fee Moving made it so easy! Every aspect of working with Flat Fee was very straightforward. Booking with Vanessa was simple and efficient and she was helpful with all answers. And the price was very reasonable too. This morning, Laura, Henry, Adolfo and Oscar came to my apartment to move all my belongings to storage. They were respectful, quick, efficient and really worked well as a team. I am planning on using Flat Fee when I move my things out of storage into my next home and will make it a point to request this team. They were terrific! read more

Laura and the boys are moving our furniture for us today. They came prepared as far as wearing masks and the necessary safety equipment. I would highly recommend them for any moving that you are considering doing. In our case it was just a temporary situation. They took the care to wrap everything very carefully and are storing it in their facility until we are ready to take it back. Highly highly recommend read more

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. This is the most unprofessional and dishonest company that I have ever delt with. I felt like they were doing absolutely nothing to make the customer happy and leave with a positive experience. Their estimate is a completely random number and you will be paying at least $200 more than the price they give you. First they came and wasted the first 15 minutes signing papers which actually comes out of your time, which you are paying them hourly to move. The movers were very rude and when asked to move a couch down 6 flights, one of them actually started to complain and threatened me that he would take 40 minutes to walk it down. A mover complaining about moving? The manager/owner was extremely rude after trying to work it out after they took 2 hours over the expected time from the estimate. They told me that if I wasn't going to pay for the extra two hours now (before unloading the truck) I would have to call the police to get my furniture back! This was not okay and I was seconds away from calling the police. Also they left my couch sitting on my sidewalk as well just because the time was up and they had to go to their next job. This experience was the biggest headache, and moving is stressful enough. Stay away from this company!! They are dishonest and very rude and you will be very upset to find out your move will cost you way more than you thought. If you give an estimate you should stick to it or at least be within an hour of it. read more
