I am SO thankful I found these guys. My move was last minute and I didn't have any time to pre-organize or pack fully, and I was single-handed too. These guys handled everything and made me feel reassured--it's like they were my team! At one point (fairly early) on move day, they realized that I was flying solo and just jumped into action. They helped pack up my items (securely), carry things up/down my flight of stairs (during wet, winter weather!), helped take piles trash to the where it needed to go. They were nice to me too and almost were like advisors on what/how I should pack or move first, of course, asking me every step of the way what I wanted. Then, moving in to the new place, they helped set up the heavy furniture and were efficient about. Had a very positive experience with Movers 201 for a recent local move. Their initial quote came in at a better price than the other companies I received quotes from but I had been cautioned from friends that had used "hourly" based movers in the past that they may not work as fast/efficiently as others in order to bill more time than was quoted. That was NOT my experience with Movers 201. They moved as quickly and as efficiently as possible from the moment they arrived and were very professional in all interactions and overall just made the entire move experience less stressful than anticipated. Our old storage place was closing down. We had 3 weeks to move out. I looked on Yelp and saw these guys. But I also allowed others to quote the job. Movers201 not only responded quickly their system to acquire a quote is very good. We called several places for estimates before our move, and right away knew this company was for us when Brigitte picked up and answered all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. We had to change dates and times a few times because our closing dates changed, but Movers 201 always accommodated us. On moving day, our entire team of movers moved quickly, efficiently, and went above and beyond to ensure our stuff was transported safely and put in the correct rooms and spots. Update... They tried to bribe me to take my review down. ======= I save my 1 star reviews for businesses that I would not wish for my worst of my enemies. This business has multiple complaints from Better Business Bureau. You will hardly ever see this many complaints for a business. They are not accredited by them either. Yelp does not allow zero stars. This is the only place I would give zero stars. Stay away at all cost. Someone keeps deleting all reviews.. That alone is extremely Shady. Read all the warnings that have been filtered. They quoted me $400, and then charged me almost double I was provided with an "estimate". So I don't get a fixed rate. It's a way for them to charge you whatever they want. As you can see from the comment from the owner he has confirmed my above statement. You should never ever hire a mover who comes over to your home and gives you a non_binding estimate. The reason why someone comes is so they give you a fixed estimate. They came in a renter's truck with their sticker on. That should have been a warning. It took an hour to drive 1 mile in the same town to which I moved. I live in the suburbs. There was absolutely no traffic. And they charged me for this. The worst part is that because they do it on your moving day so you're stuck with bad service and ridiculously exorbitant fees.
