    We have moved couple of times and this experience with Unwind Moving team of movers was best thus far. Sebastian and Leo helped us move from our single family house to an apartment in jersey City.....we downsized. This group with super effective coordination on the phone from Nadine makes an excellent set of folks to work with. Regular communication, super well organized way of loading and unloading, no slacking or waste of time anywhere and most importantly no complaints or grumpy faces - in fact I have never seen movers that smile and these folks do everything with a smile!!! You guys really made the day as easy and as smooth as it can get. So thank you because moving can be stressful and emotional!! Just the day before the move, I requested Nadine if they can accommodate a small detour to a storage place to store our extra boxes and this was seamlessly accommodated with a smile! Also, they own the truck and provide OCI as well. Our experience has been so good with this group that we have marketed them to even folks who have no interest in moving so they can tell their friend who might move :D Good luck to Sebastian, Nadine and team!!

    Sebastian and Nadene were great in a very tough situation (we lost are mover last minute). They came out to provide an estimate on an hours notice and worked with our uncertain timing on closing/moving. The team who moved us led by Brian did an amazing job loading and unloading (we packed ourselves). The cost ended up being almost 50% more than estimate but given the rush and zero broken items, well worth it and not unreasonable. Highly recommend.

    As many reviews already indicated, Unwind Moving provided excellent service and communication without any pressure tactics. We moved my elderly parents from NJ to Boston: a huge downsizing transition. From the beginning, communication was excellent. Sebastian, the owner was extremely flexible with the moving date. Nadene provided COIs prior to the move. Moving day, Sebastian and Leo showed up on time. We had much more for them to pack than originally planned, but they apprised us that they would have to slightly adjust their price. The adjustment was completely reasonable considering the additional time it took. Nothing broke in the move. All of the furniture was placed exactly where we asked. They were extremely pleasant, patient, and hard-working. I highly recommend them!

    My boyfriend and I were looking for a moving company to ease our move since we lived on the fifth floor of an apartment building (we all know how stressful that's going to be)! Unwind Moving was recommended to us by a friend and let me tell you, it was the BEST DECISION EVER. We moved out and into our new apartment in just 3 hours!!! I totally recommend them to help you with your move it eases so much stress and time. They were so professional and packaged everything with so much care.     I was looking for moving company to moving from Manhattan to New Jersey. First I sent my quote to up 10 companies in Yelp. The quote from Upwind moving was the best. Sebastian is a owner personally sent me quotes with detailed explanations what is included and how much each service costs. The most important, Sebastian didn't bombardier me with calls and emails. As well I very appreciate it. When my date changed I called and spoke with Sebastian. It was very pleasant conversation without pushing, I was just provided with all necessary information. I like that Sebastian didn't request prepayment. The day before I got email to confirm my next day move. The next morning Sebastian and the team arrived right on time. All necessary supplies were in place. All my stuff were packed so throughly and carefully, I was impressed. The guys worked very fast and super professional. I have very narrow doors and it was challenge to fit my big couch and the rest big furniture. However guys handle this super easy. As well Sebastian was so kind to give me a ride to my new place. At my new place the all process was very fast, unloading and unpacking. No complaints, no delays, no breaks. Impressive work! I'm super happy to let you handle my moving. And it's very legit business, they have own track and provide OCI as well. Thank you!

They had seamlessly loaded the contents of my 650 square foot apartment including large/heavy fragile furniture with glass (8 foot tall dresser with mirror weighing 250 lbs, and 50 galloon reptile tank) in about 1 hour. We promptly left via car to meet them at our new address in Philly, and they arrived at exactly the same time as we did. They unloaded the truck in about an hour again, and helped partially unpack and put items in the proper places, especially the furniture that would have been hard for me to move on my own later. I will continue to use Piece of Cake, and have recommended to several friends over the years that I have been using them. It was quick working with the customer support team initially to quote the move, make payment, and on COIs and confirmation. When we move again in a couple years Piece of Cake will be the only mover I call. My recommendation to others considering the service, be transparent and honest about the contents of your move, especially items requiring extra protection even if there is an additional fee involved. There were no surprise add-ons in my move because we carefully selected every single item that would be included in our move early on in the process, and made sure to reply in detail to the follow up emails regarding insurance, access to the apartments (stairs vs elevator, reserved elevator, etc.), and so on move-in day everything went off without a hitch.     DO NOT HIRE GREAT MOVERS -- UNPROFESSIONAL, CARELESS, AND DISHONEST…read more On October 30, 2025, I hired Great Movers to remove and store heavy items from my property. Three movers arrived, led by a foreman named Steve. They were instructed to place the sofa and love seat in a designated dumpster area. During the move, the team used our bathroom while working in the bedroom. Shortly after they left, my daughter arrived home and immediately realized that her gold, diamond, and pink sapphire necklace -- a deeply sentimental graduation gift she'd worn almost daily for three years -- was missing. It had been safely in the bedroom that morning, and she hadn't worn it that day due to her outfit choice. We searched thoroughly. It was gone. I texted Steve immediately and asked for his manager's contact information. When he called back, I explained what happened. His first response was dismissive: "Great Movers isn't responsible for stolen items." No empathy, no concern, no sense of accountability. Over the next three days, I called the company multiple times and left messages for management (Saad or anyone in charge) -- not a single call was returned. Zero acknowledgment. As if that wasn't enough, I then received a call from building management saying the movers had dumped my furniture next to a pizza shop's dumpster, upsetting the business owner. I had clearly told them to place the items inside the designated dumpster area. When I called again, the dispatcher promised to contact Steve. Steve later claimed I "never said anything" about a designated area -- an outright lie. He finally returned to move the furniture to the proper spot, but even then, he set it next to the dumpster until I told him to put it inside. When I again brought up the stolen necklace, he was cold, sarcastic, and emotionless. I told him I would be filing a police report and that if the necklace was returned, there would be no questions asked. His only reply was to ask "where it was located." It is now November 5, and I have still received no response from Great Movers management. This experience has been deeply upsetting, not only because of the stolen jewelry and unprofessional conduct, but also because of the company's complete lack of integrity, accountability, and compassion. My advice: DO NOT USE GREAT MOVERS. If you value your belongings -- and basic human decency -- find another moving company. Great Movers = Great Disappointment.

I price-compared a ton of NYC moving companies and J & G gave me a competitive moving quote. Additionally, the building I was moving into required a certificate of insurance (COI) and J & G was able to offer it for me for free. A lot of other companies charge for this. Before moving, I communicated with them via email and they always responded promptly and were very clear about what their moving package included. The day of the move, they called and asked if it was okay if they came an hour early. They were very communicative with me during the whole move. The lead guy (forgot his name!) assessed how many things I had and then discussed with the other 2 men on how to efficiently approach the move. The 3 men were over 6' tall and strong, and they were able to finish my whole move in a little more than 1 hr! I did not have anything that was easily breakable but the men treated my things with care. They provided blanket and shrink wrapping for all of my furniture. Everything was loaded up into their truck very quickly. These guys wasted no time. When I arrived at my new apartment building, they had already started unloading my things. I had my boxes labeled with what was inside (i.e., kitchen supplies, shoes, jackets) and they actually placed each box in the corresponding room. Best of all, there were no hidden fees. They ended up not charging me a processing fee that was included in the quote and gave me $40 off my quoted price. The movers were so friendly, communicative and professional, I will definitely be using J & G Moving again! I also wanted to note that on the day of my move, the street I was moving from was blocked due to construction. J & G movers did not complain or make any mention of that until I had stepped outside of my apartment building and noticed it. These guys provide excellent customer service and I was very impressed by them.

I can not say enough good things about them. They came with a multitude of supplies to ensure all my things were taken care of and the speed at which they moved was unmatched. I have a really large television and they managed to get it off the wall with ease. Lastly they have the best insurance and they sent me the COI that my building requested (luxury building)..I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family. In all honesty this was the best moving experience I ever had. I wouldn't have used any other company. If you don't contact them at least for an estimate you would be doing a dis-service to yourself.

They scheduled a zoom/facetime walk-thru of my apartment to see what I needed and to give me a better quote. I had started packing already and got all my own boxes so it was easy to see what I had left. What I really liked was the 'no BS' hidden fees. It was one price that wouldn't change, no matter the hours or added last minute box. Of course my move was scheduled and it had to snow. Thankfully this didn't stop them. 4 guys showed up right on time (during a snow storm on a friday morning rush hour in the city). They walked thru and got a game plan, then brought up all the blankets and plastic wrap and got to work. TVs were dismounted and put in boxes, mattresses were put in boxes as well. The amount of blankets they used to wrap my furniture made me so happy. While they took their time, they were still hustling - running from the truck to the apartment. Once we got to my new place, they covered my stairs with runners and wore plastic booties to ensure my floors weren't messed up. I wish I had bought the wall mount for my TVs for my new place, because they offered to set me up. The only thing I was disappointed about was that my couch didn't fit thru the garage entry so it was left in the garage. I wish they had tried thru the front door but they were adamant that it still wouldn't fit. After 7 hours, I wasn't going to push them. Regardless, would 100% recommend Veterans Movers and also hope Roadway doesn't ruin this small-business. I wish I could remember the 4 guys that helped me move to give them a shoutout! Thx!!!

All three were young, but very composed and clearly experienced (definitely learned a lot of moving hacks from them). Emil handled disassembling and reassembling our king‑size bed frame and crib effortlessly (something our last movers really struggled with), and the team even came the day before to help pack about half our boxes so that moving day would go quickly. They worked fast, stayed organized, and took great care with everything. At our new apartment, they navigated two separate elevators with ease and got every piece of furniture right where it needed to go. And the cherry on top--they even made sure the loose dollar bills my wife had lying around were safely packed into our boxes! That level of honesty and attention to detail really stood out. The president, Patrick, explained that they usually have someone come out in person and look over the contents to be moved. And then the rep would give a quote then and there with no additional costs/fees (as long as nothing changes with the inventory of course). However, because of my short notice, it was advised I send over a detailed inventory list. Throughout my correspondence with Patrick, he always responded fast and eventually gave me the things I requested like multiple quotes based on different inventories. On moving day, the foreman, Anthony, arrived with a team of three other movers. They were all professional and efficient. Apartment move to a house took about three hours from the time they arrived at the apartment until the time they left the house.

    Our experience with Amplified Moving was an absolute disaster, and I would strongly caution anyone…read moreagainst trusting this company with their belongings. We were quoted a little over $500 for a three-hour, two-person move. We fully disclosed our inventory in advance, including our king mattress and the weight of our adjustable base. We specifically asked whether additional movers would be necessary and were assured that two movers would be more than sufficient. The move ultimately took approximately 10 hours instead of the quoted three, and our final payment exceeded $1,300--more than double the original estimate. This was not a minor miscalculation or a reasonable overage. The move took more than three times as long as represented. The first crew handled our belongings extremely poorly. They initially refused to bring our king mattress and adjustable base upstairs, even though both items had been fully disclosed before the move. The mattress was only brought upstairs after we insisted that the job was not complete without our bed in the bedroom, particularly because it was our only place to sleep that night. Amplified later sent a second two-person crew, and those two movers handled the adjustable base without difficulty. That made it clear that the issue was not simply the number of movers. It was the preparation, execution, and competence of the original crew assigned to our move. After unpacking and inspecting our belongings, we discovered damage to nearly all of our furniture. Two of our three televisions were also damaged, in addition to damage to our flooring and a curtain rod. This was not one isolated accident or normal wear associated with moving. The damage was widespread and affected a substantial portion of our belongings and home. When I spoke directly with Patrick, the owner, he was rude, dismissive, and refused to take meaningful ownership of what happened. He suggested that we needed to make "compromises" in order to be happy. When I directly called out how poorly the move had been handled, Patrick then accused me of being rude. Is that really how an owner speaks to a customer whose three-hour move turned into a 10-hour ordeal, whose bill more than doubled, and whose furniture, televisions, and home were extensively damaged? Holding a company accountable for its own failures is not being rude. Customers should not be expected to stay quiet or "compromise" when their belongings are damaged, major disclosed items are initially refused, the estimate is wildly inaccurate, and the owner responds defensively rather than professionally. Amplified Moving turned a quoted three-hour move into a 10-hour ordeal, charged us more than twice the original estimate, damaged nearly all of our furniture, damaged two of our three televisions, caused property damage, and then blamed and insulted the customer for raising legitimate concerns. This was one of the worst service experiences we have ever had. I would not recommend Amplified Moving under any circumstances.
