After the site visit, the quote we received felt thoughtful, fair, and clearly tailored to our needs, not a generic estimate. As the workplace coordinator, I truly appreciated how easy it was to coordinate details like insurance, loading dock access, and a very specific installation timeline. He quoted me a fair price and told me he'd be able to come ASAP, so I had him come by today. It took him all of 15 minutes to put it together! He sent me a text at 2:15PM that he got caught up at another job- although 2+ hours later, I wanted to give him a break as this scenario is very understandable in this field. That being said, I decided to reschedule to give him another shot. I made an appointment for the following Monday at 11:30AM and received a text at 11:30AM that he was in traffic. He asked if 12:00PM would be OK. Of course, no big deal- I'm already home for the appointment regardless. Come 1:00PM (another hour later) and I had both called/texted him and had yet to receive a reply as to whether or not he'd be coming at all. He texted me at 1:15PM saying he was leaving in 10 minutes to come to my house (from a local town). This was a bit frustrating as I had blocked off time from work to be home at 11:30AM, as per the original plan. He quoted us via text and I asked for the information formally (via email) as per my insurance providers request and I never heard back- ever. Maybe he didn't want the job... After a few more quotes I have to admit his was substantially higher (more than double) every other quote we received.
