The staff were friendly and my nails were taken care of with precision and lots of attention. $50 for a gel pedicure that took abut 45min was worth the price. Went here at the suggestion of friends and since it's also close to me. But I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much from this low-key spot in this strip mall. The tech, guy named Devon, was a perfectionist. Made sure my mani and pedi were just right. Not to mention they catered to my little princess also. My party were all very pleased with their work. I went to Houston for a family relative's birthday and I didn't have enough time to squeeze in a nail appointment before I left Vegas to get my nails done so I stopped by here because i saw it when i was running my errands for the party. I'm glad I did because my previous set was peeling off and my fingers looked so bad before coming here! Pros: *Hygiene - I like that they use clean towels for you to dry your hands and everything looks clean and sterile. They use a new bath wrap for every new client and the masks for the foot came in individual pouches. *Price - The pricing here is cheaper than what I paid in Vegas to get the same services and the service was great for me. *Nail polishes - The variety of nail polishes here were awesome. They have matching polishes for both regular, gel, and dipping powders. They also have on trend chromes that looks like the "donut" glaze types from instagram. *Services - The nail tech for my pedicure was Vivian, she did an amazing job on my toes! I have an embarrassing (ingrown) big toes and I always have to be careful with pedicures because I've had nail techs make the problem worst. She knew it from looking at my toes and asked right away if i was feeling pain and instead of pulling out the nippers, she took another metal tool and went in the sidewalls of my toes to remove the dead skin tissues causing the pain and made it so much better! I was very impressed with this as I was assuming I'd have to warn her. I tipped her well for this and wish more nail techs would do this too! I did the classic pedicure with gel polish and chrome on top. The nail tech for my manicure was Vy. I got dip powder nails with her and she also did a great job. She paid attention to the shape of my nail (i have a few crooked nails heheh) and did the filing to even them out. I came with half my hands having natural nails and the other hand needed a completely new set and she accommodated my request to do an dip powder overlay for one hand and a full set on the other hand. I felt bad but i really wanted to keep my nail length on my good hand and continue to grow out the other. She matched them very well and did awesome on keeping the dip powder not too thick. I also added the chrome on top for this one as well. (As pictured) *Parking - Okay i had to add this because I've been going to so many nail salons with like 1-2 parking spots just for the salon customers to use. Well this one is in a huge shopping area so there's plenty of parking in front of the store and I really was not used to this! They do make them bigger in Texas! *Refreshments - They offered me soda and water before my services! It was a very nice touch as I was very nervous about how it would go. Con: *Decor- My only "complaint" is with the decor...It does look like an older type of nail salon when you walk in but that's not really going to affect my rating because it didn't affect my service and experience. I've been to plenty of salons that look much worst. Also, I met the sweet new owner Fiona and she told me that she will be doing some redecorating (they inherited the decor from a previous owner) so i can't wait to see what they do with their aesthetic moving forward! Overall I had a great experience and will come here again when i go visit my relatives for the holidays. I go to Houston 2-3 times a year and always had my nails done before i went so i didn't have to depend on another nail salon to get them done but this emergency stop changed my mind. read more

Came here for a full set, pedi and brow wax. I asked for French tips for both my pedi and full set. Pedicure was great, the French tips tho..... I could've done at home for free :(, and was better off not even getting my nails done. Brow wax was perfect though. The younger guy that did my nails clearly is new to this, but still this is ridiculous for $60 for the nails alone. read more

Skip this one. Unless you are a regular and have a certain person you trust. Had to shape my own hand nails, toes were sighed at and on multiple times when trying to express length desires. Two different women, both musta been hungry or something. My hands are covered in glue and was told it would be $5 extra to clean up the cuticles they just busted open. Extremely disappointed and left very upset but still tipped generously considering they absolutely ruined my happy day. read more

OK. Tried this place again... silly me! I wanted a plain manicure and polish. I brought my own color. And since my skin is dry I splurged on the paraffin wax. I also needed the old gel/shellac polish taken off. The tech was nice (Mandy). But, I ended up taking off the nail polish since it was coming off. I had the paraffin wax done and I washed my hands after. But, she did not clean my nails off with nail polish remover before applying the new polish. I think there was still wax/moisturizer on my nails? The polish did not stay on well. I have taken off the nail polish and just put on a clear coat. I discovered that one cuticle is bleeding. Another nail was splitting (I have filed that down). And the original shellac has not been taken off all the way. There were still spots of it on my nails. Sigh. read more

Probably the worst place I've been to, the lady who did my pedicure was rude. I got the basic pedicure which was $28 but she charged me $35 ?? And I didn't say anything and yet she was expecting tips and looked mad when I didn't tip her like she didn't just charge me about $7 more PLUS she did such a bad job she literally was soo rushed and finished in literally 15 mins, my polish was so bad. This place is under new management and is offering a 20% discount on all services!! That's what caught my attention (sale whoop whoop) so I decided to try a new place! I came in they greeted me right away told me to pick my color! When I sat down for my pedicure the lady offered me coke, sprite or water (she even opened it for me, so nice) she then turned on my massaging chair! Great customer service here! I have always had I've do my acrylic nails. She is awesome and my nails always look perfect, they are not thick and chunky, they don't catch my hair when they grow out, and she is always super quick. Let me tell you about Ivy's Nails!! it is such a welcoming place. Ive been going to Ivy's Nails since I was in Highschool and now im 20. I live in Huntsville so its about 35min from where I live but totally worth the drive because the quality of your nails are just amazing. I've kept a full set of VERY long nails for about a Month and 2 weeks, they had diamonds and were very dramatic, not 1 diamond fell of, never chipped nor breakage! I love Ivy I request for her every time I go which is about every 3/4 weeks. They are all very qualified and professional nail techs as well as very friendly!!! love this place read more

I went in here and sat for 45 minutes waiting. Of those 45 minutes, 20 of them were sitting and soaking my fingers in acetone for shellac nails. Just no!
