It's has been 1 year since I last did work for the Iverson's tree service and the owner has blocked me and has still not paid the 500$ he owes me. I do not recommend getting services from this company the owner only cares about making as much money as possible. The workers are good people the owner tho only cares about making money and will do anything to not spend it on anything except himself and his personal expenses. read more

Full recommendation of Iverson's. We have a beautiful Cypress tree in a very difficult spot (behind a 2500 gallon koi pond). I got three estimates for this project: One guy said it couldn't be done. The next guy never returned my calls. The Iverson team made a plan, set a date and got it done. And, they did a terrific, terrific job. Tree looks clean & well pruned. All of the 5 stars are legit. We had the crew on our property in Carmel Valley removing trees and limbing up oaks for two days. We had the crane on site one of the days. The crew are hard working and kind. Price is fair and lower than other estimates we received. The only snafu was a scheduling conflict with the crane on one of the days so we had to reschedule but they resolved the issue quickly. My wife and I really liked the whole crew. read more

We had over 20 trees removed from our property in Carmel Valley. Some of the pine trees were over 30 years old and very large with limited access. Iverson brought in a crew and a large crane. By using the crane they were able to reach over a fence, connect a cable to a tree, cut the tree off and easily lift the tree over the fence to an open area where they were able to cut off the limbs and chip it up. It was quite an operation taking three days. They did a great job and cleaned up after they were done. The professional job they performed was well worth the price we paid. read more

Excellent service! We had them remove an old 60+ feet tall pine tree that was leaning over our house in the Del Monte Forest. We were out of town when this service was done. Our neighbors took pictures of the work in progress for us. Quite impressive work with a big crane crossing over our house onto the backyard, a guy on the top of the tree with a chainsaw cutting it away. By the time we've returned home, there were no signs of them having ever been there, except for a couple light scratches on the street asphalt and the tree that is now gone! BTW, Iverson's had the most reasonable quote and best understanding of the permit process amongst the few quotes we've got. I'm glad we chose them. read more

What an awesome tree service company!! We have 2 extremely large pine trees in our front yard in Pacific Grove. We had a large limb that split and was hanging very high up. Iverson's was working across the street trimming trees.and I asked if they could cut it off for us and offered to pay him. To my surprise when I got home from work the limb was gone. Very disorganized and unreliable service. I was told by the owner that he would come out to cut back trees and three times he did not show up. He did not bother to call or explain the broken appointment. I would not use this service because it is very unreliable and flaky. Iversions tree service cut a Eucalyptus tree down in our neighborhood in Carmel Valley Village during bird breeding season that had a viable hawk nest with eggs in it. It was huge and they obviously chose not to see it while they were cutting the tree. They finally "saw it" and left 3 trunks with 3 tiny branches. The hawk mother is sitting up there on her nest baking in the hot sun with absolutely no protection. How stupid and mean of this company to do such a thing. I am outraged!. I had a very poor experience with Iverson's Tree Service. I needed several pine and oak trees on my property cut back and dead branches removed. Knowing winter is a really busy time for this industry, I called in January, waited about ten days until the estimator could come out, and agreed to a specific appointment time that was about five weeks later. The appointment date came and no one from Iverson's showed up at the agreed upon time. After multiple calls to their office, I was told they had a "lot of work to do" and would not be out. No apology, no offer to set another appointment, nothing. I took they day off as they told me someone had to be home when they got there. So, I was out a day's work. I wrote a letter to the owner and received no response. As far as I am concerned, these guys suck big time. I don't care how good their work is, I would never use their service or recommend them. And, by the way, I called another tree service, they came out right away, fave me a quote (cheaper than Iverson's) and their work is great. read more
