Apparently, the building's owner did not notify the tenants of the work. No problemo.. the guys had a job to do and did it very well. They were incredibly professional. They worked as a cohesive team for the entire day, resting only when they were allotted their legal breaks / lunch time. They were clean and very organized. Each employee was dressed appropriately & had all required safety gear - harnesses when climbing trees, work boots, long sleeved shirts & long pants, ear / eye protection, and hats when needed. Their equipment was well maintained. Attention to safety is very important to this company & its staff. The staff who worked this day spoke Spanish only, but were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had access to the garbage bins (actually, they took my bags to the appropriate bins - thank you!!). They also made sure I could exit the parking area easily because they positioned their truck & equipment with attention to detail. I don't know prices or any other details, but I recommend this business based on safety, respectful staff, and cleanliness. Craig arrived with a ground worker and climber and gave the trees a long overdue trimming, the phone lines are clear, the power to the house is safe from falling limbs. Craig was easy to work with and let is add two stump removals and one more tree felling to the job. Craig's equipment was first rate, the stump grinder removed a 4 foot stump and a fig tree stump quickly and safely, no flying debris, The stump holes were backfilled and graded. Yard looks great. His arborists cleaned up and chipped all the branches and left our property neat and clean.

While we take great pride in handling all the tasks ourselves around the property, I decided to call in some muscle (forestry equipment) in this instance for a day with Tope's Tree Service to see what they could accomplish. Their efforts exceeded my expectations, and I was a little like a kid by the dodgems wanting a go! After seeing what was there, a skid steer and a drum mulcher wouldn't have been effective with the terrain and the density of vegetation. I dare say I could have accomplished this task over a month or so with an ATV, chainsaw, chipper, Tickshield, and plenty of IvyX. However, the expertise of an experienced operator and the power of a specialized machine proved to be far more efficient and effective in just a single day.
