We were so pleased with the quality of work from Arellano's Tree Service. I was pulling out a ton of invasive echium, I mean a ton, I filled my whole driveway with it 10ft in the air solid. Jorje was great, he told me he would chip it all when he got here. He did just that and did a great job trimming our trees. I had asked him to trim a lot and a month had gone by from our quote (fire season the trimmers were booked out), he remembered everything we talked about and did a great job creating our defensible space to keep our family and house safe. Our whole street uses him. My neighbor had a giant tree taken down by them. My other neighbor has him out multiple times a year to trim a heavily wooded area backing up to our neighborhood canyon. They like him so much they stopped by to say hi to him and his crew when he was trimming our trees. I have used a few other trimmers in the area who have been great. However, when you call them a 2nd time their quotes double. Jorje is honest and consistent with his work and price. We all talk about the Carmel mark-up, whenever people come to Carmel they always mark-up the price when you compare it to your friend in Seaside or Marina. He doesn't do that. He is consistent across the Peninsula. When he was in the neighborhood at my neighbor's house I took down a large branch myself and asked him if he would swing by and chip it for me. He cleaned up my unprofessional cut, chipped up my limb, and blew away the mess for me on his way out after a full day of work at my neighbors. Not many businesses in this area know what true customer service is, he does, and that's why we all use him as our trimmer. read more

My neighbor a block over hired these guys to trim trees blocking her view...that are in my backyard. They were to do the job on Wednesday but didn't show up until Friday - unannounced. When they were done, they just blew their debris into my planters, left my hose blocking a door, and didn't bother to clean their debris off my driveway. They also moved large boxes and trash cans away from the gate they wanted to use, into the middle my driveway, and didn't bother to move them back, making parking impossible. I guess if you're not paying them any money they don't give a rip about leaving a time consuming mess behind for you to clean up. read more

We are home owners in Pebble Beach. We've used this service several times since 2014. Luis Arellano and his team are absolute professionals. If you have an emergency they will get to you ASAP, usually the following day! They have the experience and the tools to get any tree-job completed safely and quickly. We've seen many other tree service trucks and equipment travel through our neighborhood, but Arellano's Tree Service is the ONLY one we will use. We HIGHLY recommend Arellano for their competitive pricing, prompt service, safety protocols, and professionalism. read more

I have had this company out many times to trim my trees. They are so professional and reliable. I am a Realtor and tell everyone to call them. My sister was very happy with a huge pine tree removal project, a couple years ago. They recently did another excellent job for me. So happy with their services. Thank you kindly! Kudos to you! read more

First of all, even though I'm giving 4 stars, I definitely recommend Arellano's, and for the little guy I think they're best local tree trimmers. We're not some big property owner that has a continuing need for tree trimming. We have 1 tree on our property, that's it. Honestly most of the other tree trimming companies never called us back, or called us back several day later. Arrellano's answered when we called and had someone out to do an estimate the next day. A couple days later they did the work well, and even trimmed more when I asked for more off the tree at no extra cost. I really loved working with them. Why only 4 stars? Well I asked during the estimate if they could bring by wood chips as part of the work being done? They said sure! I again asked for wood chips when the work was being done, I offered to pay for the wood chips as most of my backyard was wood chips, and needed to be re-chipped. They kept saying no problem we'll bring some for free when we're done. Well when they were done they never brought wood chips. I called twice to ask for wood chips and they said you are on the list, but I never got a call back and they never brought chips, and this was now six months ago and we never got chips. I'll still work with them in the future, and I'm still happy I did business with them, just don't expect anything beyond tree removal and trimming. read more

We searched high and low for firewood during our visit to Big Sur. Arellano's rose to the challenge of remote delivery (with delivery surcharge we were happy to pay), arrived EARLY in spite of the hour-long drive to our location, met our weird expectations, and delivered us a healthy load of split, dry, ready-for-camp wood. They were professional and courteous throughout, from responding in a very timely fashion to our messages, meeting deadlines ("We'll call you back tomorrow with that detail."), and adjusting to our needs as our large group continued to evolve. HIGHLY recommended! read more

Arellano's did a great job for us. They cleaned up our 2 very overgrown walnut trees and it makes such a difference in how our yard looks. The thinned out and took alot of growth off our split trunk redwood which reduces the likelihood of it falling. And they removed an ugly old plum tree and ground out the stump ans cleaned up all the debris leaving everything better than when they started. Would definitely use them again. read more

A tree fell on our house while we were traveling, and it was incredibly nerve-racking! Arellano's literally saved the day. George was available to come out to the same day to assess the situation and Denytte was extremely communicative throughout the whole process (sending photos along the way to keep us informed). While I hope to never have to deal with a fallen tree again, I will absolutely call Arellano's for any tree and yard needs. Thank you again! read more

We confidently can refer Arellano's for tree trimming. They quickly provided a competitive bid for the job. They exercised great judgement on trimming the tree (a large coastal live oak). They totally cleaned up after themselves. Great Customer service, professional and value pricing. read more

Highly recommend! It's so refreshing to find a competent and reliable tree service in Monterey that is also affordable. George is an honest straight shooter, and his crew know what they're doing and don't mess around. Jeannette was friendly, responsive, and on the ball. I have tried a few services in town, and have to say these folks are the best. read more

The best. Price was the lowest quote I got- but, even better, exceeded by the great work and fantastic cleanup. Thanks George & Denyette! read more

Easy to work with. Very Professional. Came right out and did the job at a very good price. Recommend highly ! High end equipment used.

Efficient, excellent job on trimming and shaping our trees. By far the best value after extensive price comparison of other companies

A amazingly talented and hardworking group of professionals! We recently called to have 4 (approximately 50 ft.) dead pines removed from our property. The estimate was about half of what we expected it would be! When they came out to do the work about 2 weeks after the quote, Jorge and his crew were so skilled at working together to remove the huge trees. It was so captivating to watch! The neighbor came out to watch as well! They cleaned up the mess so well after the job. I definitely recommend them to everyone needed some tree work done. read more

George, the son of the man who started this business in the mid 1980's, knows what he's doing! He has an eye for aesthetics and gave us guidance regarding large, heavy, worrisome limbs hanging over our roof, removed those that threatened to fall and/or harm the main trunk due to excess weight and cleaned up other areas of the tree that required attention. He and his crew are highly capable, conscientious and quick. They left our yard as clean as a whistle. We are happy with his work and will call on him again I n the future. read more

George (Jorge) Arrellano and his crew spent three days at our Monterey home this week, trimming a number of tall pine trees. We can't say enough good things about the quality of their work, their professionalism, their work ethic. We have hired a number of tree service companies over the years, and generally have been pleased with their work, but Arrellano's sets a new, high standard. We look forward to working with them again in the future. Thank you, George and Denytte! read more

George and his crew are without a doubt the best tree service on the Peninsula. Shows up when he promises, has modern, clean, professional equipment and crew. Has the ability and the integrity to deal with any tree issue, big or small. If anyone needs tree work done, he is worth waiting for as he is busy. And the reason he is busy is because of everyone I wrote. Simply the best. Have had the unfortunate experience of some of the others and there is no comparison. Really a great person and a nice bunch of people. read more

Highly recommend this company for any tree services. Very professional, timely and efficient

Thanks so much. They've been out twice to our house and removed one big tree and trimmed a bunch of smaller trees EXACTLY how I wanted them. I presented a problem and the problem was solved. It literally took less than 15 minutes for me to get my first estimate and the first job was finished within a few days... pretty much the same with the second job. Frankly, this is the best service that Ive got from anyone in Monterey. I really appreciate this as I was having a rough few weeks and these guys put a smile on my face. Very professional. read more

They went above and beyond in working with us! They delivered us a huge supply of cut, split, dry wood that burned wonderfully for us.

Jorge and his crew came by today and did a big job in a short amount of time at a very reasonable price. I was really impressed by their hard work and professional manner. Highly recommended!!! read more

Could not be more pleased with Arellano's Tree Service. Jorge and his crew did an awesome job cleaning up oak and pine trees in our front and back yard. They were able to cut down several dead trees within a couple of days. They left everything extremely clean and even cleaned off our neighbor's driveway. Out of everyone we called about this job, Jorge was the quickest to respond for an estimate and got it done right away. The price was very reasonable for the hard work these guys did. Thanks Arellano's! read more

Great service. Showed up on time. Trimmed my 2 Italian Cypress beautifully. Cleaned up. Will use them again.

Tried to spend money with these guys. Called twice. Waited. Never heard back. Business must be good!

If I could give 6 stars I would. To begin with... Dynette, office manager, is always so pleasant to talk to and she truly made me feel like an important customer. The entire staff is prompt, friendly, and efficient. The crew, including George, came earlier than expected ready to work and get the job done before their deadline. They were friendly, careful, and took time to talk to me and answer all my questions and concerns. When I say they are careful, they took every precaution to cut down four very mature trees while being mindful of the fences and the landscape. They use state of the art equipment which is important for safety, efficiency, and keeping the environment clean. They did an unbelievable job of landscape clean up too. I had been watching the winter storm clean up of several tree service companies working in Pebble Beach and Arellano's was better by far than any of the other companies. Their pricing is extremely competitive too. Dynette & George came by the following week to do me a huge favor and follow up. I whole heartedly recommend them. read more

During the storms in February of this year our 50+ foot tree fell over (luckily not into our house) but onto one of our oak trees. Getting any tree service at that time was extremely difficult because everyone was dealing with downed trees. I called George, who had done some tree work at our Monterey rentals. He squeezed me in (coming out on a Sunday) and he and his crew did an incredible job! As we saw the massive truck we got this wild idea to make some trunk chairs. He even obliged us and now we have some awesome chairs in our garden area. We jokingly said "when life gives you a fallen tree, make chairs!". At that time, we discussed some of my Eucalyptus that have gotten out of control and cleaning up an old Oak Tree on my property. His professional opinion was invaluable. A few months later he came and trimmed our majestic Oak Tree into a work of art, and cut down a substantial amount off of our Eucalyptus trees. Not only did they do a beautiful job, they also did an excellent job in cleaning up. I have more work to be done, and I will not hesitate to call George back again. read more

Jorge and his crew are the best. I've had them out a few times to our property in Prunedale. They show up on time and always do a great job from start to finish. I highly recommend George and his crew to everyone I run into needing tree work. His prices are always reasonable and he's been a pleasure to work with. read more

I called Arellano's for a quote on getting two large trees removed and additional trees trimmed. They were out the next day and got me their competitive quote by the end of the day. (I had been waiting a week for a quote from another service). They got the job done within a week and the work was done professionally and efficiently. I'm very pleased with the service and wouldn't hesitate to use Arellano's again. read more
