Our two 70 Year old Liquid Ambers were dropping large branches in a recent storm. Many limbs were over and around our power lines and the ATT trunk lines running past our property. Craig had trimmed these trees before. Craig arrived with a ground worker and climber and gave the trees a long overdue trimming, the phone lines are clear, the power to the house is safe from falling limbs. Craig was easy to work with and let is add two stump removals and one more tree felling to the job. Craig's equipment was first rate, the stump grinder removed a 4 foot stump and a fig tree stump quickly and safely, no flying debris, The stump holes were backfilled and graded. Yard looks great. We contacted Craig Spencer a few months ago because our trees hadn't been trimmed in a few years and there were some dead branches. He came out promptly to walk the property and talk with us about what needed to be done. Caring advised us that June was not the time to cut pines because it encouraged beetles and that we should wait until fall. Craig and his crew came out last week (October) and did a great job! We had two large pine trees and three smaller trees that needed to come down (appropriate permits were obtained). Craig, the owner, was on site and working alongside his two crew members the whole time. They all worked really hard. They also were courteous, and respectful, listened to and honored our requests and, in addition to doing good work, were just very helpful. They even helped us install an owl box on the top of a cut tree! Craig is very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions about the long-term care and health of our trees. We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and care that Craig's guys took in removing a huge tree stump on our property. It was a difficult job because of the proximity of the stump to our garage. No damage was done and there was no mess left afterwards. Couldn't be more pleased with Spencer's Tree service! They cleaned out, shaped, and/or removed over 18 mature Live, and Coastal Oaks plus three Evergreen Pear trees and also cleared out yards of underbrush. This is in a residential neighborhood, not a farm or open land. It was a huge (three-day) job done professionally, promptly and neatly - care to avoid disturbing other plantings or sod and every tiny leaf picked up and taken away. The tree guys are amazing, spent the last day working in almost a downpour at times. Craig was prompt, professional, courteous, listened to every concern and followed up on every detail. I needed help to prune back a 30 ft avocado tree that I've been growing for nearly 15 years. The tree had grown so large that it was becoming dangerous to itself in high wind and I was afraid my guacamole futures would be imperiled in our next storm.
