The best of the best! Misa and his team were outstanding; professional, highly skilled and respectful. I had an 80' Monterey Pine in a difficult location that was starting to tip. It had always had a bit of a lean, but in recent weeks it was dramatically increasing, and aside from lifting the side of my home, the trajectory was to fall on 2 adjacent homes. Inspections labeled the removal as urgent. I called 5 tree services, 3 declined, 1 was a no show (likely drove by and said "no thanks") and Misa arrived within an hour of my call and said "no problem ". I had my estimate emailed within hours and the removal scheduled. The 8 man crew arrived exactly on time, helped me clear the area and explained the process. The entire team was outstanding! Friendly and conversant with a fearless, "can-do" attitude. Clearly, each had specific roles and the process began. Branches were carefully lowered and cut up for removal, walked down the garden path to the driveway and loaded for removal. At the end of the day, all the branches had been removed, the area cleaned up and ready for the next day. In the morning the entire team arrived promptly and exuberant, up for the challenge! The tree was sliced into rounds and lowered to the ground. After everything was removed the entire area impacted was thoroughly cleaned, raked and swept, including the roof. The team even moved all my outdoor furniture and pots back to their original location, checking with me if there was anything else I would like them to do before they leave. They really are "As good as it gets!" I could not be more pleased. My neighbor (who lives quite close to this tree) called me to say that in 65 years, she had seen maybe ten tree trimmers work on this tree, and none did such a nice job AND nobody has cleaned up after the work as well as they did. I was also thrilled that the ground crew managed all that falling, heavy wood so skillfully that not a single thing on the ground--fence, plants, small trees--was damaged. My experience is that tree trimmers always manage to break things on the ground, but not these guys, and nobody has left the property cleaner of debris than the Cruz Crew. And they were each pleasant and easy to deal with. You can see in the photo that the tree is now symmetrical and open in a beautiful way. The recent storms left our property in a shambles. There were large broken branches and debris scattered everywhere, not to mention a large Pine tree that went down, and taking with it, the power lines adjacent to our property. Once the utility company secured the area, and cleared up the downed power lines, Miguel, his son Misael, and their crew came in and did an absolutely fantastic job clearing away the debris, and removing the fallen Pine. Misael then used a very nimble Bobcat tractor with surgical precision to extract the enormous root ball, thus enabling us to re-grade the area and plant a new tree without us having to deal with planting around a gigantic root ball left behind by a stump grinder. The work was excellent, the pricing fair, and the collective demeanor and comportment of the entire crew was very polite and professional, not to mention, super friendly.
