We wanted a slab in our breezeway but needed it done so the slab was sloped AWAY from the workshop to avoid any water going into the building. They did the complete opposite and sloped the concrete TOWARDS the workshop so badly it will have to be removed to avoid any water damage. After the concrete had dried we could see just how badly the slope was. We tried talking to Jorge the owner about the bad job they had done and They offered to remove the slab but for a big price, which was even higher than what they charged us for the slab install. Such a disappointment. After repeatedly asking if they were going to make sure the slab would not slope towards the workshop They agreed that it would be just what we asked for. The slope is so high and so bad we can't even open our doors completely. The owner and his son seemed like honest genuine guys. My husband even bought them lunch both days they were here. Not knowing what we were going to be left with. They have refused to take any responsibility for this terrible job and they actually want more money to fix THEIR MISTAKE! It was our mistake to trust these people. Dishonest and corrupt contractors. We DO NOT recommend this company!!

Boy, did we have a problem floor and WOW, did Remi and his team save us. We bought a house where dogs had urinated - frequently, for a long time by the smell - indoors. The house has a slab foundation, so simply installing new flooring wasn't going to get rid of the smell. We have a dog as well, and even if we zapped the entire floor with enough cleaner to where WE couldn't smell the urine, it didn't mean SHE wouldn't. We loved the house and we got a great deal so we knew part of our savings would go into addressing the smell. I had 3 companies come out to look a the floors and give me a bid. Remi impressed me with his professional conduct: he measured each room for calculation, and then he sat with me and tactfully brought up the issue of the odor (really, it was undeniably bad, though better when I pulled out the carpet/laminate wood flooring in the bedrooms; the rest of the house had a vinyl tile glued down that was going to have to be professionally removed). Remi explained the process of removing the vinyl tile and he recommended grinding the slab, then pouring and sealing a concrete overlay to prevent any marking by our dog. He and his team did an amazing job; they would grind, then wash the floor with a baking soda mix, let it dry, then grind some more. Remi was very conscientious about grinding deep enough to remove the urine. It took longer than a typical job and I'm grateful for the work he and his team put into our floors. They definitely went above and beyond (and, let me say, the bid we got from Remi was in the middle of the 3 I took, so I never felt like he was gouging us for all that work). When the grinding was done, just as they were preparing for the overlay, I worried the natural color of the overlay would be too gray. Remi showed me pictures and video of other work he'd done and the natural is warmer than I thought it would be (I was imagining dark gray concrete) but I just am not a fan of gray and was lamenting that we couldn't do a warmer brown color. So Remi worked with dye to create a color for us! It was tricky; the dye had to be added to the overlay before pouring and there was an inherent limit to how much dye could be used without compromising the structural integrity of the overlay. And this wasn't something Remi had ever done before, but he researched it and did some test "pies" (concrete discs) to see the effect. Remi said he was willing to try it if we were willing to take the risk. We are so glad we did. Our floors look amazing. They aren't too dark but they aren't gray; they are warm dun color that seems to catch and softly emit light. I admire Remi's willingness to try new techniques and his commitment to quality work. He's an artist. You can see the incredible difference in our floors in these before and after pictures. Believe me, if they were scratch and sniff, you'd be even more impressed.

She spent a good deal of time showing me different things until I found my "Dream Carpet." It's AMAZING!! Brett came out to do measurements. I asked him if they could do vinyl plank over my worn out linoleum. He said it would be no problem. I only looked at a few samples at the showroom and I decided I would just live with the linoleum. Well, I changed my mind, and now I wanted vinyl plank too. I told Brett kinda knew what I wanted. I live pretty far from the store, so he sent me a link to a website that had sample colors. I picked a color I liked. Brett took a piece of it from the showroom and put it next to the carpet sample I picked and texted me the photo. That's going the extra mile! It looked absolutely amazing. The other carpet place I went to said it would be 3-4 weeks for installation. Texas Pride had it ordered and here by the next week. If it didn't rain every dang day, they would have installed it in about a week and a half. Instead, it was just at 2 weeks. The President, Bobby, came out on install day to check things out. The install team, Carlos and his wife, did a wonderful job. It looks even better then I imagined. Highly recommended!!

Texas Pride Floors started off well but ended poorly. My new LVP floor has holow spots, crunchy…read moresounds, and ridges that can be felt under the vinyl. They would not acknowledge that the issues were their responsibility. I hired a private floor inspector to get a second opinion. TPF has tried to place all of the issues that I see with the floor under the HVAC not being on when the floor was installed last June. However, the inspector found that the subfloor preparation was at fault and NONE of the issues I'm experiencing are related to HVAC. I gave them a chance to collaborate a solution with me and their response was not to take responsibility in any way, they wouldn't even answer the email. The company will not honor their 1 year installation warranty on labor. The installer was Nelvke, which they told me was their best installer however the inspector found deviations all throughout the 2600 sqft of installed floor. I paid 17K for this floor. I paid for leveler and they did not make sure the sub floor was flat before installing. Beware and steer away from this company.
