Each flavor combo seems authentic to the CULTURE it represents with unique ingredients. How do they have the fridge space !? The FUNGI pizza with truffle oil was light and crispy with umami flavors from the mushroom and white sauce as the base which only enhances the buttery and creamy notes of the pizza. Great SERVICE and cute to go boxes. Seems like a mom and pop shop with made to order individual pizzas with an authentic oven. Fun LOCAL spot.

The crust is super thin which isn't a big deal but preferably a thicker dough would hold the topping better. Thw issue is the consistency of the dough is always different, its a gamble you may get a nicely baked pizza or you may get an over cooked or even worse burnt crust. The pizza is so small & pricey for the size (anywhere from $19-$26) and not knowing if your pizza will come out nicely baked or overly cooked/burnt isn't a gamble I want to take. Weeks back we had the the "Bombay tikka" that one had better flavors, although the crust was overly cooked/burnt. The service has been good the 3x we've been here, the workers are always friendly and ready to help with any question, the spot is small and the decor felt like we were back in Italy, but the uncertainty of how cooked/burnt the pizza will be isn't a gamble I'm willing to take again, I like consistency. In San Fernando (on San Fernando Road) there are 2 Mom & Pop pizza shops that have more flavorful pizzas, bigger proportions and always consistent with the crust.

I ordered their Chicken Crunch Wrap, which is their take on a Greek gyro but reimagined in a way that feels fresh and fun. Think traditional gyro flavors like seasoned chicken, creamy sauces, crisp veggies, but wrapped up in a perfectly toasted, golden, handheld format that gives you that satisfying crunch in every bite. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, not dry at all. The balance of textures is what really got me. The tender meat, cool and creamy elements, and that crisp outer layer that ties everything together. It's comforting but also feels elevated at the same time. What I loved most is that it didn't feel greasy or heavy. Sometimes wraps like this can feel overwhelming, but this was flavorful without being too much. Every bite had that herby, savory Greek profile, but with a modern street-food twist that makes it super craveable. And the baklava cheesecake! I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be one of the best cheesecakes I've had in a long time. It's such a genius concept that combines the rich, creamy texture of cheesecake with the sweet, nutty, honeyed layers of baklava. The cheesecake itself was smooth and decadent, not overly sweet, and the baklava elements added that perfect crunch and warmth from the spices and nuts. The service was beyond great, seriously feels like I stepped into a place where they treat everyone like family. Super hospitable and welcoming. There were some regulars there when I visited and they talk amongst themselves like if they're family as well. I loved the vibes here! Overall, Yasu Guys really impressed me. It feels like a spot that understands traditional flavors but isn't afraid to experiment and modernize them. The food is well-executed, and genuinely exciting. If you're into Greek food but want something a little different from the usual gyro plate, this is your place. Already planning my next visit! Thank you for having me.

The burger was well constructed and full of flavor and stayed together until the last delicious bite. The fries were hot and crispy and were tasty even after they cooled off. Their version of secret sauce was also very good. My friend had the sweet potato fries and they were really exceptional. Very professional staff and a very pleasant experience overall. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in enjoying a great burger and fries at a reasonable price.

Having not had beef bacon in 15 years, I was genuinely excited to try the truffle burger. The menu lists halal beef, bacon, and truffle aïoli, but the burger came with one piece of bacon and no aïoli. When I asked for the aïoli, I was given chipotle aïoli, which doesn't work with that flavor profile imo. I was then told they just spray truffle oil on the burger, which isn't what the menu describes. I ended up asking for a side of plain mayo. I would have preferred to email this feedback directly, but there's no contact email listed on the website. Lastly, every time I visit, the music is extremely loud, and today it was sexually explicit music, which isn't the vibe I'm looking for especially at a halal restaurant.

I think they tried to press it cause it had a crispy bottom but even with a slop of garlic sauce in the middle, it didn't hold it together cause it was sooooooo dry. The $5 eggplant meze came in a large to go plate with pickles but also dry (how?!?). The $3 meat pie was cute but nothing special or nothing a proper pastry place can't beat. My order came with the traditional bag of pita (which is nice but all legit places do this); I'm only mentioning this cause I thought this changed with $3 pita side option on the menu. And they gave me the cute little baklava (2) they hand out as a freebie dessert (but also not as good as it used to be). Really really sad that it's nowhere near what it used to be almost a decade ago when I lived in Noho. I come here almost once every ~ 3 months and look forward to my takeouts when I get the chance, but after being disappointed consistently, not likely. Good luck tho! I like what you've done outside.
