Came here for vday dinner, got their focaccia and 3 pastas. Was so full and satisfied. Truly my fave Italian in the city for their pasta! Pastas: Great flavor and textures. Mafaldine is my go to but the vodka was perfection esp with stracciatella that we got on the side with our bread. The mushroom one was like a dream pasta, exactly my taste and I loved the crispy topping. If you take anything from this review, it's get the focaccia bread!! Even just the olive oil with the focaccia was so good. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong here. Great quality!

Had a reservation for 5:30pm yesterday (Saturday) for a group of 4. We got seated at one the tables close to the entrance. It was a little cold with the doors opening and closing, so we asked if we could move to a table in the back area. The staff was very nice and accommodating and moved us. The restaurant is dimly lit and nicely decorated. It has a casually elevated ambiance, perfect for date nights or even just dinner with friends. We opted to order several dishes to share. After each course, they would replace our plates and utensils with new ones. For starters, we ordered the Hokkaido scallops and broccoli caesar. The scallops were refreshing. The broccoli caesar was delicious. It came with crispy focaccia, which paired really well with the perfectly cooked broccoli. There was a generous amount of cheese, which I loved. For pasta, we ordered the spaghetti, cencioni, and mafaldine. All of them were super flavorful, creamy, and yummy. Each dish was different with its own unique flavor profile. The spaghetti with the dungeness crab had a nice and strong seafood flavor. The cencioni with the mushrooms was seasoned well and delicious. The mafaldine was simpler but equally creamy and seasoned. I could definitely taste the black pepper in the mafaldine. Last but not least, dessert. We ordered a tiramisu, which is off the menu. When we asked one of the staff members about it, they said there is a limited amount of tiramisu made each day and fortunately, we were able to get 1 of the last 2 that day. We also ordered the chocolate budino. Both desserts were great. I loved how both of them were not overly sweet and even though I was pretty full, I was still able to enjoy the desserts without feeling sick. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner here!

Super cute spot with a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The food was to die for! Every course was fantastic from the crudos and lettuces to the pastas and red snapper. I was truly blown away by the quality and flavors of every dish, which doesn't happen often. Much better than Collina in my opinion. Unfortunately, they have a 2-hour dining limit for a party of 4 but there are plenty of fun spots to go to for a drink after dinner.

Finally got to try Itria. I got the mafaldine cacio pasta which was a delight. The pasta tasted fresh and the shape of the noodles makes the sauce hug the pasta perfectly. Also got the dungeness crab spaghetti, which was not bad. The mafaldine takes the cake. Service was good and we got our food fast.

Heard it's a must try in the city so came to check it out! Interior was gorgeous - the dimmed lighting really gave it an upscale feel. Really loved the plates too that matched the modern vibe. Servers were very busy but we got everything that we needed and they were very nice. As for the food: Tuna crudo - 5 pieces of fresh tuna packed with a deep savory flavor. Really really delicious! Broccoli Caesar - Very unique take on a classic salad. Focaccia croutons were fun to break and very crispy. Sauce was interesting, didn't really taste like a caesar. Was very much like a creamy balsamic. Broccoli was really delicious and perfectly cooked. Only note would be that the sauce was too salty. I like salty but it was a little overpowering. Cacio e Pepe - Pretty good. Noodles were a tad overcooked. It's just the pasta and the sauce so felt kinda plain. Flavor only had two tones - pepper and egg, was also too salty. Egg was very present though. Duck Sugo - This was definitely the better pasta dish. Pasta was perfectly al dente and chewy. Plenty of duck that just melts in your mouth. Sauce was also not too salty but had a unique savory flavor to it. Loved that there was some crunchiness in the dish too, which made everything more complete. Budino - Not pictured but was surprisingly good! Not too sweet and very fun textures. The pudding portion felt very light and paired perfectly with the crumble and salt cream. Great way to end the night. Overall, definitely worth a try and would love to come back to try their other pastas!

Super high quality pasta. I went here for a special occasion and the ambiance, knowledgeable staff, and elevated pasta, made it a very special experience. Honestly, the steak was one of the best dishes!! I highly recommend if you love pasta and have something to celebrate!

We came here and got the tasting menu and it was excellent. The price ($109) is a good deal for the number of courses, the quality of the ingredients, and the skill with which the dishes are prepared. Everything was extremely tasty. Their crude dishes were great: essentially this comes down to the freshness of the scallops, salmon, and tuna. All were very fresh, flavorful, and had a great texture. The sauces with which they were served were balanced and complemented each dish (without drowning out the flavor of the crisp). The pastas were really well executed. My personal favorites were the duck carbonara and some kind of flat round pasta that I didn't catch the name of but had a deep umami and creaminess in the sauce that complemented the perfectly Al dente chewiness of the pasta. The desserts are also great! I had some kind of pot de crème, and it was delicious. Even though the mains and appetizers were very good, they're not sleeping on dessert! I definitely want to come back as I saw some pastas (like a campinelle) that I would love to try!

Decor is a little dark and moody, very romantic. I went here with a friend to celebrate her late bday dinner. We did the tasting menu. $105 per person and comes with 5 appetizers, 3 pasta courses, and dessert. We also started with an amuse bouche from the chef. The appetizers are all cold and raw fish/seafood. I liked all of them, but I think my favorite was halibut or amberjack. I forget which one. Normally I love scallops, but they put a little too much citrus on it for me to love. After seeing the appetizers, I was worried I wouldn't be full by the end of the meal. However, after eating the first pasta course which was a mushroom one, I started to get extremely full. My friend and I both could only take a couple bites of the other 2 pasta courses to save room, and we took those 2 courses to go. The pasta with anchovy was the least flavorful in my opinion, but it was ok. The mushroom had the most flavor. The duck carbonara was super rich and good, but since it was served last, we couldn't fully enjoy it in the restaurant. I did enjoy it the next day though! Chocolate budino for dessert was yummy. They also gave my friend a free ice cream for her birthday. The pacing of the food was great. Service was friendly and water glass was never empty. I would come back to try more pastas. I recommend the tasting menu for a first visit and then just ordering what you liked most for a second visit. Parking can be tough in this hood, we just took a car. Neighborhood nearby can be a little rowdy, they are right around the corner from El Farolito and the BART station.

Nice moody but lively vibe, a good date night spot! Friendly service as well. Unfortunately food did not quite hit the mark, had a stellar experience when they had first opened but quality has since declined. - got the crudo trio and it was not as fresh - fish texture was off. Scallops were good but the amberjack and halibut were a bit fishy - the pastas were good but nothing amazing for the price point - my favorite was actually the spaghetti with anchovy as it packed the most flavor. - the grilled strip loin from the large plate format was a little tough and could have used more creative flavors with the sauce

Great and fancy restaurant. Made a reservation at 5:15pm on a Sunday and it was not packed at all. The ambiance was pretty nice and the food was good overall as well. We ordered the bluefin tuna, beef carpaccio, malfadine cacio e ova. I enjoyed the beef carpaccio the most for the meat mixed with additional greens and a crisp of the chips. My 2nd favorite was the malfadine. I thought it was quite peppery but had an interesting good texture. Pasta was uniquely cut as well. As for the bluefin tuna, it was good but I felt like not worth the price we paid. Moreover, I did feel like the pacing between dishes was very long. It felt like we were waiting 15-20 minutes for each dish and that was a little confusing to me since there was not that many people in the restaurant.

My dinner took place last Sunday and it was fantastic. I've passed by Itria many-a-times as it's literally a few steps from the 24th St BART Station. On a whim, decided to eat here on Sunday night and did a walk-in. Luckily, there were plenty seats at the bar with full menu service because they ran out of tables. Reservations highly encouraged. Ordered the scallops and oysters to share. Both were super delicious as the light sauces didn't overpower the natural taste of the seafood. Then came the salad, which was better than expected. I liked the light citris tang of the dressing and the greens were fresh/crisp. Shared the papadelle and the serving size was great for 2 people. The sauce was creamy and tasty over the pasta. The vibe at this restaurant is dim, but I was still able to see my dishes. Great place for a date night. They also have a set tasting menu, which is reasonably priced for the number of courses. That's what I'd like to try next, stay tuned for a review update. #14/2025

Amazing food, good service, cozy and vibey restaurant. Love this spot! This is my second time here and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. Make sure you make reservations, otherwise you'll likely have a wait or get turned away. The burrata with the balsamic glazed was delicious. The oysters were good, crudos and the penny pasta was also delicious. Can't wait to come back here.

A lovely Italian spot for date night / celebrating. They were on the Michelin guide which is pretty cool. We walked in with no rez on a Sunday night at 5pm. They didn't have any tables for us so we sat at the bar. No problem but throughout the night there were definitely 2 seat tables with no one sitting. We ordered the pasta crudo tasting menu which was $106 each & then got the focaccia & sake flight on the side. Price is a bit steep but you do leave full. The crudo was pretty good and fresh but I thought it was over seasoned & too much sauce covering the fish taste. The pastas were definitely the star of the show. Super al dente & flavor was on point. One of the dishes was extremely extremely salty so that was the only dish that wasn't great. I don't think I would come back just because there's so many places to try & this didn't wow me. But I do recommend the tasting menu for those who want to sample a bunch of dishes.
