Napkin and receipt shows all the grease.

It took exactly 52 minutes for us to get an order of Jerk Mac & Cheese, Brown Stew Snapper and a Chicken Soup. Apparently they gave our order to another customer but no one came out to inform us until we asked. Very poor service and on Mother's Day. Received the order and there was no spoon for my soup, one container wasn't properly closed, which left the entire bag filled with grease. I would not recommend this location. Right now I have a tummy ache from waiting and will be unable to eat what I ordered.

Where is the Rasta in my pasta this looked and tasted like a bland Alfredo

Im sick of y'all and these prices not matching the food. The only thing I ever order our of here is a beef patty. I dont know if its because this is the new location but at least on Liberty Rd. when they charge them high af prices the food is flavorful. I say this to say if you are looking for Jamaican and you HAVE to have Island Quizine go up the street. its a couple minutes drive but for the money you will spend its worth it. I mean look at my pasta, where is the rasta in that pasta?

So pleased with this location. My call was answered and ordered placed. Good pick up was seamless. Food looks great. Ready to indulge!

Today, Dec 14, 2023, I ordered food from this location for my department's office holiday party, and the staff LOVED the food. I ordered jerk chicken, sweet & sour chicken, fried whiting, veggie stir fry, veggie chunks (rundown), cocktail beef patties, plantains, rice & peas, and potato salad and a mixture of assorted sodas. My only con was that they didn't deliver my order until 11:10 a.m. (the party started @11a.m) even though I requested a 1030a delivery, it wasn't a total loss because the food came nice and hot.

First, the wait was too long but I figured they were cooking to order. I got salmon and what they called seasoned rice (a la cart). The salmon was overcooked and dry. The "seasoned" rice was plain white rice with frozen mixed vegetables barely seasoned but without island flavor. The plantain seemed like an afterthought. Finally, it was grossly overpriced at $26.50! I would give it 1 star but that would be rude. I will try another dish just in case it was a bad night.

Not what I expected for a Roti, never again.

Not what I expected for a Roti. Never again, don't have nothing else to say. No, no, no, no. Its curry chicken not jerk.

Stopped by to see what they had to offer and it was the best decision ever! When entering, we were greeted by Davia, who was super friendly and informing. She guided us through our order since we were conflicted in what to get. They had a Easter Fish Fry Dinner for the weekend so we decided to give it a try. It was so delicious! It was so flavorful, and covered in pickled peppers and onions. It had different options of sides but we went with breadfruit, bammy, and plantain. The sides complimented the dish very well. The drink was fruit punch and pineapple ginger mixed and the flavors were so dang good! Highly recommend to anyone!

I did my order online and it said 45 minutes it would be ready. I still got there 15 minutes later and it still wasn't ready. I had to wait an additional 7 minutes. Mind you I was waiting in line for the people in front of me to get there orders. So that was 5-8 more minutes. The young lady at the register informed me they were busy. That I could understand thats why I came a little later. I think they should inform the apps that the orders are taking longer, so you won't be waiting around. If the food wasn't good I would have been very upset.

The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

It was so good that my dad and I repeatedly visited every morning while in Baltimore. The waitress was soo friendly and kind. The first day we just did take out to get a sandwich and coffee. She filled up my dad's coffee mug for $1 which was super nice. She also explained the menu and was very accommodating. The food was great as well. We ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a bacon and onion sandwich. Both were made to perfection and fast. They made sure our order was brought to us in a swift manor. The coffee was delicious as well. Really strong but it was great to start the morning. The ambiance was nice. They had great signage outside for take out and for the sit in dining experience. Once you walk in you will feel at home and comfy. They also offer outside seating in front of the diner which is nice on a nice day. We sat outside on our last day and the owner came and set up the umbrella and ensured we did not anything else. It was a great experience. If you are in downtown Baltimore I suggest you check it out! Cheers!

We started things off with the appetizers, and the Hot Honey Fried Chicken Deviled Eggs were absolutely phenomenal. Easily one of the best things we ordered. They were so good that I honestly could've eaten an entire order by myself and been perfectly happy. We also tried the house-made cornbread. Their version was a little different from what I'm used to and almost gave me French toast stick vibes. The consistency was good and it definitely wasn't bad, just a different take on cornbread than I expected. Between the two appetizers, though, I'm choosing those deviled eggs every single time. For my meal, I ordered three scrambled eggs with cheese, Cranberry Maple Turkey Sausage, shredded hash browns, an everything biscuit with cream cheese, and pancakes. Everything was good, but those pancakes were easily the star of the meal. Honestly, some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Perfect consistency, fluffy in the middle with slightly crispy edges, and flavorful enough that you really didn't need much syrup. The eggs were solid -- simple scrambled eggs with cheese done right. The Cranberry Maple Turkey Sausage was really, really good as well. I'm personally not a huge fan of shredded hash browns because I prefer home fries or diced breakfast potatoes, but that's more of a texture preference than anything being wrong with them. I'm also not much of a bagel person, so I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the everything biscuit, but surprisingly, I really enjoyed it. My lady ordered the brisket skillet, which had brisket, scrambled eggs, shredded potatoes, peppers, and everything mixed together. Very flavorful, and the portion was definitely generous. For drinks, she had the Pineapple Coconut Colada, which was good and definitely had a heavy pour that day. I had Shirley's Crush. I'm already a big fan of orange crushes, and theirs was really good -- flavorful, refreshing, and they definitely weren't stingy with the alcohol. Our waitress, Melissa, was amazing. Very attentive, helpful, friendly, and she took great care of us throughout the entire meal. Great service can really add to an experience, and she definitely did that for us. I honestly don't have any real complaints about Miss Shirley's. The food was good, the service was excellent, portions were generous, and there were so many other things on the menu that caught my attention. I already know I'll be going back so I can start scratching some more items off the list. The only downside worth mentioning is parking, but that's pretty normal for a city location. There's a parking garage directly across the street, which is extremely convenient, but we paid around $24 for maybe an hour and a half to two hours. A little pricey for that amount of time, but I guess you're paying for the convenience of being literally across the street. Overall, my first experience was a solid 5 out of 5. I can only speak for my visit, but the food, drinks, service, and overall experience were all on point. Definitely recommend, and I'll definitely be back.
