This place exceeded my expectations in a good way. The ambiance is amazing and the staff is super friendly. They play a lot of reggae music which is cool and they even have a display table where people outside can see you eating inside. The only thing I would recommend is when the customer is paying for the server to take a step back, when paying I felt like she was watching to see if or what her tip would have been. The food was soo flavorful and was extremely hot after we had it delivered to the table. The manager came over and asked me about food accommodations and once I was done packing up my food to go a server came over and grabbed my bowl just in time . The drinks were delicious we had the rum punch , it was perfectly portioned and was strong. I must say the prices are a little higher but it's most definitely worth the money and the experience. We Will be back for sure.

The chicken tacos were so oily!! I had to dab my tacos to absorb the excessive oil. The mac n cheese was really good though, tasted better than the DC location's, if they're still open.

12'28'2025 My gf and I stopped here prior to a show across the street. It was easy to locate, and I was able to make my reservation on Opentable. We walked in and was seating immediately. We were approached by Mya who was very helpful. She took our orders and made sure everything came out perfectly. Collectively, we ordered the following. Westmoreland Wings - Very good, Jerk Wings. Plantains - Amazing taste. Plentiful. Jammin Salmon - Delicious flavor! Well plated. CoCo Bread - Different than I'm used to. Thick breading. Not a fave. Rum Punch Mocktail - Fruity and flavorful. I recommend this place to anyone in the area as everything was very tasty, and customer service was amazing.

Rasta pasta with chicken. Quite tasty!

Jerk @ nite ! Ok so I was going to see WICKED at the HIPPODROME and decided to grab something to eat before the 6:30 show. I did not know there was a Jamaican restaurant across the street . Good music , tasty food , great service. I want to type more but my phone is about to die. Get the tacos , all flavors . Also go for your birthday . The free cake is delish it reminds me of Thanksgiving. One of the owners gave me a tour and I got to meet the the Michelin star rated chef

FAMILY REVIEW: (3.5 stars if half points are considered) Took my littles (ages 4 and 6) for a night out to eat as a way to end the Winter break. The food was flavorful, the ambience was on point, and the service was genuinely stellar--attentive without hovering, which is always a win (shout-out to Kaya, or Caya, ??) Now... the oxtails. Flavor? Great. Portion? Tiny as hell. Blink-and-you-miss-it tiny, which was a little wild given the expectation that comes with ordering oxtail and especially as $39 dollar plate. The rice and peas was abundant and the plantains were delicious. Also worth noting: the menu goes all-in on jerk (respect), but there were very limited alternatives for anyone not in the mood for full heat. Adjustable spice levels--or a kid-friendly option--would make this spot much more approachable for families. Overall, strong execution where it counts, but a few tweaks on portion size and heat flexibility would push this into must-return territory. Right now, I'm good with my local take-out spot.

Came here twice in the last month and a 1/2.. First time was for a walk thru for an upcoming event and second was for the actual event. Jerk at Nite could be hard to miss if walking downtown because the door is on the side, not at the main entrance but you smell the aroma of Caribbean cuisine a few feet away. The 1st time I came, our waitress was Maya and 2nd visit was Keke. They both provided great service. The manager Shon was cool, friendly, attentive and provided exceptional service. It became so busy on this beautiful 70 degree Saturday in Baltimore, he continuously checked on all tables even bringing out dishes and drinks himself. We ordered a variety of things both visits so I'll let the pics speak for themselves. All were excellent. My friends and I cleaned up our plates or took food to go because it was plentiful. Definitely check them out when in the area. Cool Caribbean vibes and esthetics downstairs while upstairs is more of a laidback Speakeasy vibe.

Jerk at Nite will definitely see me again! It was a group of 6 of us and we didn't have a reservation. The host and the manager worked so diligently to find us a table. We were with a birthday girl who partied too hard at her day party so we were trying our best to get her some food. The bartenders were so helpful to get her some water and offer her some coco bread while we were waiting at the bar for the table. We waited no longer than 30 mins for a table to free up. Service from our waitress, Maya was great. The food was so good. I had the curry chicken which came with two sides (I chose rice and peas and plantain). My food came out significantly later than the others at my table but was worth the wait. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced for the portion size.

I'm surprised this place is still open. Ambiance was nice but the service was poor. Initially was going to sit at the bar & eat but after waiting an 30 mins & no service, I decided to take my food to go. After waiting an hour my order was wrong. I then waited an additional 30 minutes for them to correct it & when it came out it was in a regular bowl as if I was eating there. Food was good but the serving was way too small for the price. I was given my carry-out order in a "small" container for leftovers. I gave a tip although no one deserved one. Also they charged an additional fee just for sitting down. I will not be revisiting this establishment. The sign say "if you're reading this, you're about to get jerked" take that literally

Literally the BEST Jamaican restaurant in the state of Maryland. I know because I'm tried them all and this is as close as you can get to the real thing. I've been here a handful of times, and I never leave disappointed. In fact I purposely stay away because they can easily become an addiction. My last visit was during restaurant week which I loved because I got to try some of everything, and as always they had generous portions. Some of my favorites are the jerk wings, mac and cheese and rum punch.

This is a great restaurant if you're craving Caribbean food and they are open late which is great after events. The food was good I had a traditional jerk chicken, rice and pigeon peas which was quite yummy. The service was fast and the restaurant had a nice casual feel to it. I'm visiting Baltimore but when I'm back next year I will return. The portions were a nice size too took some back to my hotel

Fitst, I needed to alter my reservation, and when I called this restaurant, no one answered, ever! Even during their business hours and I called for two or three days before my reservation and they make you leave a deposit for your reservation too . The parking is really bad because of the location. You are almost forced to almost park in a garage whether you want to or not especially if you go on a night where there's a show at the Hippodrome theater around the corner. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The menu is extremely limited and everything's overpriced. Most things are à la carte, which was disappointing. The route to the women's restroom is a little offputting.

Second time going to jerk at night and it was phenomenal. I tired salmon nachos, the chicken and salmon tacos, the oxtails, the jerk chicken, the fried snapper, the Rasta pasta, the rum cake, and the bread, pudding, the lamb chops, and the mac & cheese. Everything was superb from the seasonings, presentation and the customer service was immaculate. Special shout out to my girl Maya, who was very attentive, very welcoming very warming. It was a phenomenal experience. I definitely will come back again. The ambience is very unique. It looks like something from a storybook with all of the low lighting the pictures on the wall and they have a lot of ethnic decor, which I totally appreciate. The owners were both very charming and very personable. He had a DJ which played some nice tunes as we ate and enjoyed. It was a great experience.

I would like to file a formal complaint regarding my experience at the hotel cocktail bar…read more My friends and I visited the bar with the understanding that it was busy, and we were more than willing to be patient while the staff caught up with service. However, the bartender, Vicki, refused to accommodate us at all, despite our willingness to wait our turn. Rather than acknowledging us or offering an estimated wait time, we were simply turned away. What made the experience particularly disappointing was not the wait itself, but the lack of professionalism and hospitality. We were treated as though our business was not welcome, which is not the level of customer service I would expect from a hotel of this standard. As paying guests, we expected to be treated with courtesy and respect. If the bar was temporarily unable to serve additional customers, a polite explanation or request to wait would have been completely understandable. Instead, the bartender's, Vicki, refusal to accommodate us left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. While I thoroughly enjoyed my hotel stay, this definitely put an off putting taste in my mouth toward customer service standards. I hope this matter will be reviewed so that future guests receive a more professional and courteous experience. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.

This is Puerto Rican pitorro, also known as ron cañita, made with care and intention rather than gimmickry. Many local liquor stores now carry the brand, and it is well worth picking up a bottle, but visiting the distillery is an experience in itself. The founder is a fellow Puerto Rican born retired military member, a background I share, and like me, he has put down roots in Maryland. That story is reflected clearly in the brand's own framing, "Puerto Rican born, Maryland made." The space feels grounded and unpretentious, and that sensibility carries through to the hospitality. We arrived late on a Saturday and were still welcomed warmly, never rushed. We were taken care of by the founder's daughter, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She guided us through a flight that included the traditional pitorro, almond, pineapple, coffee, coconut chai, and several seasonal offerings. The flavors were thoughtful and well balanced; even the infused expressions retained a clear rum backbone rather than drifting into novelty. We enjoyed them enough to leave with several bottles. This is artisanal pitorro done right, rooted in Puerto Rican tradition and confidently made in Maryland. Buying it locally is convenient, but going to the distillery is where the people, the story, and the spirit fully come together.

Always great service by bar manager Charlie, fantastic food and beverage menu and options. My favs so far are the grilled wings and chicken tortilla soup.
