    Crab cake
    Dwayne J.

A Baltimore staple that I think is a bit overpriced. Papi cuisine has a formula and if you know what It is then you'll expect to get quality food every time. Service was good however my menu was sticky and I didn't appreciate that I had to ask if happy hour was going on rather than the restaurant having happy hour menus they can provide. I was told that Tuesdays are the best days to come by a waiter but still. I ordered the crab cake entree with two sides. The crab cake was jumbo and had good amount of crab, the collared greens were delicious, Mac and cheese was okay. Overall, I don't think it was worth $40 but I'll come back

The food. Oh my goodness. Flavortown USA. If you enjoy seafood, you must get the crab egg rolls. Trust me. Thank me later. I had the seafood Alfredo and they do justice to the dish with the different textures: broiled lobster, fried shrimp, steamed crab lumps. It's a tasty combination with the Alfredo and noodles. The brussel sprouts are good. They don't hold a candle to the eggrolls, though. The seating is cozy and comfortable. You can order at the bar or grab an elegant table. The service was the most inconsistent. We were a party of eight. Some of us got amazing service while others did not have the same service. The food, though -- that was consistent amongst all of our dishes.

Papi Cuisine: Afro-Latin Fusion at Its Finest Nestled in the heart of Baltimore, Papi Cuisine is a culinary gem that masterfully blends Afro-Latin flavors, creating a dining experience that is both elegant and soulful. My recent visit left me in awe of both the food and the ambiance, and I am more than happy to share my experience. I indulged in the Crab Egg Rolls, Honey Jerk Lamb Chops, paired with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Charred Broccolini, followed by a slice of Sweet Potato Pound Cake and two expertly crafted Manhattans with a local twist. Every bite of this meal was an unforgettable journey. The lamb chops, cooked to medium-well perfection, were tender and juicy, seasoned with layers of bold, flavorful spices. The honey jerk sauce complemented the meat beautifully, adding a sweet and spicy glaze that tied the dish together. Let's just say those bones found their way back to my hotel for some "private enjoyment" (yes, they were that good). The garlic mashed potatoes? A testament to authenticity. Freshly mashed from real potatoes, their creamy texture and garlicky flavor reminded me why homemade always beats the boxed version. The broccolini was charred to crispy-tender perfection, its bold natural flavors subtly enhanced by light seasoning, allowing the smokiness of the char to shine. And then came the Sweet Potato Pound Cake--a dessert that truly lives up to its name. Moist and dense in the center, yet light around the edges, this cake was a harmonious blend of cinnamon, vanilla, and buttery goodness. It transported me straight to the nostalgic joy of childhood. The Manhattan cocktails were the icing on the cake, or should I say, the cherry on top of the meal. Crafted by a master bartender, these drinks were bold, smooth, and full of flavor, with a mysterious local twist that added a unique flair. Beyond the food, the ambiance of Papi Cuisine is stunning--modern decor infused with an authentic cultural touch that reflects the passion behind the menu. At $200 for one person, the experience is undeniably indulgent but worth every penny. Owner and award-winning Chef Alex Perez has done a phenomenal job infusing his Dominican and African American heritage into every dish. His Afro-Latin fusion cuisine elevates traditional flavors into a bold and refined culinary art form, making Papi Cuisine a must-visit destination for food lovers. Baltimore, you've got a treasure in Papi Cuisine, and I'll be back for more!

The food, service & vibe were excellent!I got the stuff salmon, mac n cheese & creamed spinach. For appetizers we got the crab egg roll & honey wings. We also got the pork chops & crab cake. Would highly recommend.

First time dining at this location and enjoyed myself dining here. Circled around and around for parking but it was worth it. Walked in to a very nice, laid back setting and greeted by a professional and friendly young lady by the name of Brooke who escorted us to our high top table by a window. Our server, Tasha was on point with everything. The food was delicious- crab egg roll, shrimp tacos were plentiful, the sauce for the creamed spinach was so good I had to ask for a spoon to get it all. The jerk lollipop lamb chops were tender and flavorful. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the passion fruit lemon drop. I think I should have asked for something else to drink but overall, this visit was great and I will return.

Yes! Great place in Baltimore to try out. I came here for my birthday dinner and was not disappointed. We tried the wings (8.5/10) and crab eggrolls (10/10) to start. Then we had the crabcake with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach for the entree. Crabcake was 10/10. So were the potatoes....the creamed spinach was a little disappointing. Wasnt creamy, more so soupy. And very salty!!! The bread pudding was a 9.5/10. GET IT. The ONLY reason it didnt get a 10 is because they ran out of ice cream, which it was supposed to come with. Otherwise, we enjoyed this place thoroughly. It gets pretty busy, so reservations recommended! Shoutout to Al, he was our server. Thanks for everything!

10s across the board. The lamb chops, kale and libster tale were the hughlights of the meal. The brussel sprouts were delicious but too spicy to enjoy (made with jalapeno seeds). Highly recommend. Nice lunch spot in a beautiful area. The restaurant has a nice bar and somewhat open kitchen. The servers were a bit pushy but all in all, good experience.

This food is pretty good nothing to write home about but a cute dinner spot. I've been twice and while the food was impressive the first visit I wasn't that impressed the second time around. Parking is fairly easy there's a garage next door with a few spots and street parking.

This was our first time coming to Papi Cuisine and it didn't disappoint. I will say that the salmon bites were overcooked and the bread pudding was as well. They were both still easy to eat. Service was quick and easy. My cocktail was a little delayed, but food came out on time with no issues. Everything was hot and our server was Tami. Tami was very nice and checked in on us often. The restaurant is very clean and cute with the greenery wall. Everything seems to flow very well with servers taking orders and other staff collecting empty plates when customers were done. I enjoyed the music because it was a rotation of mixes to popular songs and full play of songs as well. The cocktails were good and not too strong but also not watered down. I guess my snapper fell down because when I saw others come out, they were standing up on the base of the fish. It was fried great and seasoned well. Getting a bite of the fish with the rice and beans was amazing. The rice was cooked very well and my beans were super tasty. I wasn't a fan of the lamp chops, they were just too sweet for me but my partner loved them as well as the mac and cheese. I thought the mac and cheese was good and I don't usually enjoy restaurants making it because it can go wrong, but it was good. The bread pudding was nice but overcooked so it was hard at the bottom. The ice cream was very nice.

We doordashed, not a good experience. Jumbo lump crab was a casserole rolled into a ball, nothing jumbo about the meat. Colossal shrimp were small shrimp, crab egg rolls look like steak fries on size. They were small and dry. No sauce was sent and they were rolled up in aluminum foil. Half of our order was missing. Terrible presentation. They would not answer the phone. Will never order again.

I've had Papi Cuisine bookmarked for at least a couple years now, so when we were in town for an event, she was determined I was going to knock this bookmark off of my list. We chose their sister restaurant Proper Cuisine for dinner and Papi's for brunch. We had 11am reservations and arrived 15min early. I noticed the door had them opening at noon on Sundays. We made our reservations through RESY and I've had a bad experience once before with RESY so maybe we were going to be stuck for an hour :(. We then checked their own website and Yelp and all had them opening at noon. We even saw and employee exit the restaurant and asked what time do they open and HE SAID NOON!!! We saw a couple go inside at approximately 11:05am and we followed them. The host said they open at 11. You have to be kidding me right? Moving on..LOL! My girl has been bragging about their crab egg rolls since we met..so let's start with a round of those..LOL. They were OUTSTANDING. The flavor pops off the plate! I ordered the fried lobster and for my sides I had the kale and fries and I added an order of bacon, because a brotha LOVES bacon. She went for the Creme Brulee French Toast with a side of bacon and eggs. Our server was great accept when the bacon came, it was turkey bacon. Ask any bacon lover, turkey bacon ain't bacon. Who knew Papi Cuisine is a "pork free" establishment. We sent one order of the turkey "bacon" back and we both were slightly disappointed. My fried lobster was small but amazing and the French Toast was BOMB!!! Honestly, she set the expectations SO HIGH that it would have been hard to reach even if we didn't have a couple dining hiccups..LOL. Papi Cuisine is a very nice dining experience, with a chill spacious vibe and I cannot wait to come back for dinner and get into that awesome dinner menu!!!

We went to Papi on the recommendation of my daughter who turned 21! So we picked her up and went for dinner. Our resy was for 430pm. One note: we were a party of 5, and the Resy site would only take 4 or 6 people. They also required a credit card to make the reservation. If you cancel after the cutoff, they charge $20 per person. This is becoming the standard so.... But back to the resy headcount issue, I called and they said to make the resy for 6 and it's all good. We arrived with time to spare and my husband dropped us off so he could locate a parking spot. There is parking on the street but nothing was open. Just a block away was a parking area. Note there is a 2 hour limit for dining. I am a slow eater but that was more than enough time to dine and talk. Our server was !! Loved Rashaad!!! (I might have spelled it wrong). He was on it and explained everything to our party of five. We ordered and ate very well. The highlight was: EVERYTHING we ate! Great job chef!! EVERYTHING WAS FLAVORFUL!!! We really enjoyed ourse The wait staff is top notch and an empty plate will not sit on the table for long! Love it. Everything we ate was delicious and I will be back!! HEY RASHAAD!!

Located on the top level of Crossbar Biergarten, The Wurst is a true hidden gem. You would never know it was there unless someone told you. The entrance is literally a walk-in freezer door just to the left of the stairs on the second floor, which adds to the fun speakeasy feel. We stopped in for pregame drinks before a nearby Yelp Elite event, and it did not disappoint. We were the only ones in the bar, and our bartender was fantastic, quick, friendly, and clearly knew his craft. I ordered a Paper Plane, a whiskey based cocktail with Aperol, lemon, and Amaro Nonino. It was perfectly balanced and the ideal drink to have after work. My fiancée ordered the Pornstar Martini, which she became very familiar with during a recent trip to Paris. The Wurst's version was a bit unorthodox since they serve the champagne on the side instead of as a floater on top. Not a negative, just different, and more of a deconstructed approach that some might treat like a chaser. Overall, The Wurst is a really cool concept bar that feels unlike anything else in Federal Hill. Between the hidden entrance, relaxed atmosphere, and quality drinks, it is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy creative cocktails and a good story to go with them.
