Within the first year, cracks appeared in the coping. We tried to be reasonable and even paid for materials for a repair, but the cracks have now spread across the entire deck. Multiple independent experts have confirmed the issue is the concrete slab--the very foundation Gray Dolphin installed. We have documented proof that the cracks are originating from the sub-surface they built. Despite our attempts to reach out professionally to Robert to find a solution, our concerns have been ignored. A pool deck should not be failing in under 5 years. If you want a builder who stands by their structural work, look elsewhere!

Before beginning the process of pool building, my husband and I researched and inquired with close to 15 Miami pool companies. Once we narrowed it down to 4 South Florida companies, we met with them individually and asked everything from A-Z. While the questions continued via email and telephone, several people seemed too busy to be bothered. We are investing thousands and wanted to make sure we knew what we were getting ourselves into. With Custom Pools, every single thing was answered and explained by the owner himself. There aren't enough great things I can say about this company and about Dago, the owner. The quote was straightforward, options were amazing, and communication was spectacular. Dago made himself available 24-7 and we were so impressed by his professionalism and the skill of his building team. From start to finish, our pool build took less than 3 months. Not only was the work done well but the crew was kind, honest, cleaned up every day and overall so pleasant to have around. Martha was the first person I spoke to and she was calm, and friendly, and answered all of my questions. Aldo came by within the week and it was quite obvious he knows his craft. We took a few months to figure out what we wanted and asked if Aldo could come back out. Martha once again scheduled Aldo to come out and he answered all of our questions. He is a busy man but he took all the time we required without rushing us. We immediately trusted this company and it was in large part to Aldo and Martha. After our new proposal was sent (we had added a few things) and we signed it and sent the deposit, our project started in a weeks time. Aldo brought in his team and those guys worked tirelessly. My video camera recorded the whole thing and proved that the technician did nothing else except for adding chemicals. I called the office and got yelled at. I requested to have the technician to come back and clean the pool and got refused. I provided the video evidence to them and they insisted that the technician did his job. The last owner of this business had been a loyal customer for a long time and recommended this service to me. However, they seem to have changed owner.
